I think one of the great things about growing out your hair is that as it grows you can try many styles with different lengths, I know that sometimes you don’t know what to do with it and it annoys you but honestly for me it’s a fun journey.
Currently rocking the "halfway man bun" (8:10). I am a girl growing my pixie out and honestly I find your videos super helpful because they're very practical and encouraging, plus I really like the hairstyles you demonstrate. Thank you!!!
Also if your hair is really long on the top, and you are growing out just the sides. You can do a parted low man bun with just the hair on the top. My hair on the top is probably around 12 inches, and on the sides it's 3,5 inches, and it works perfectly.
Bc of covid I cant cut my hair so my sides are at a stage 2 and the top is about 7 inches long, and idk how the hell the sides arent poofy at all yet, so this is fun... unfortunately my mom is prolly gonna make me cut it all off when covid pandemic is done screwing us over Update: she didnt make me cut it but i dyed it and cut it and am now growing it again and have some great advice to give: if you wanna grow it out, start at a mullet. Bc its gonna grow into just a longer and longer mullet and will stay styled looking!
Mom wants me to cut it when pandemic is done, but I won’t do such thing. She told me that long hair is for women but I replied “what about Jesus son of God?” I left her speechless 😂 Even she complains I will do whatever I want with my hair
@@MS-pe2vtnah its really dense, idk what was happening but it barely poofed out ever i think i just got it used to sticking to my head from all my years doing a cowlick. Sorry im so late on the reply i forgot all about the comment
Hey man, I’m even growing my hair for a year now on July 11th and it isn’t long at all compared too most people’s hair, I started with bald back and sides and a short top. I’ve taken a photo every day.
I’m going on to about 9 months of hair growth with barely 4 inches. Idk if it’s because I grew it out in the winter or just a slower growth rate. But damn do I miss my foot long of hair😭😭
I'm at that stage where my hair is long enough to do the top-half bun and the bottom half nothing haha. I like that look a lot too and I even use the pins to keep the hair on the side up and not hanging. I still just feel super awkward about putting my hair up in public tho because I still feel like it's just weird for men to do, which is funny that I think that because I want to grow my hair out long long in the first place lol. Hopefully I soon realize that it's not that strange for men to tie their hair up outside because, when I get my hair long enough to be able to tie all of it in a pony tail atleast, I'm def going to need to be able to contain it outside
In my eyes, your hair is stunningly beautiful, no matter what style you rock!!! I have short hair myself, but I LOVE long hair, and I thank you for your wonderful videos/content!! Extra unicorns, glitter, rainbows and sparkles shimmer upon you this Pride season, handsome and charming Mr. Thomas!!!!! :D
Hey.. your hair looks great🔥Want to know what hair treatments you have done till now or when we can have that treatments.. The last picture of yours in which you have the Jon snowish hair.. I am on that stage.
Kinda lucky that medium length sides suit me, I only had an awkward stage at 2nd and 3rd month coz my sides grow horizontally. On my 4th month, sides lay flat and i only need my bangs trimmed.
Hey Thomas...everyone keeps asking how long does it take to grow a man bun. I want to ask how do I know I made it lol. Sometimes when my hair wet, I can put my hair in a manbun. Other times the sides just puff out...So, any ideas on how do I know if I made it or not? Thx
Am I the only one who keeps getting their hair buzzed because I keep thinking 'No wait I want to keep my undercut' then a few days later struggles with the 'but should I grow it all out.' I've done this like 4 times at least. I don't know why I'm struggling so much with this. I used to not care how my hair looked as long as it's long, but now I can't just ignore my hair like I used to be able to.
Hi Thomas, great hair. I've been growing all my hair out since March 2020. Can you help me understand how long it'll take before I can actually tie them all up? I don't understand phases so, in months maybe?
Februari gang... it depends on how long it was before you decided to grow it out. Got to be honest, most of us are looking at 16-18months for that full tie for as far I understand
@@thomasinaction dude i saw some of your previous vidios and you had really wavy / messy hairs just like mine ...how did you get that healthy kinda straight hairs? Lmk
In the awkward stage I just focus on making my hair as healthy as possible and rocking my waves (2c). I always just have 3 hairstyles: Off-center part, side part and man bun with bobby pins. I recommend not using bobby pins daily as they can cause breakage for the hair at the front and that will make the stage longer. Using heat frequently will frizz up your natural texture when you do rock it so really just don't touch heat at all except if you have a wedding or something.
Would I get rid of high porosity if I stopped always straightening my hair with fan and a brush? And are there any tips for growing our exactly curly hair? Because what I've seen here is mostly about straightened hair.
So curly/wavy hair is your natural hair?!? I always assumed it was straight but obviously I have no experience. Do you straighten your hair now/for this video? I’m excited because my hair is unruly now so I’m looking forward to when it gets to your length :)
@Thomas In Action How is the weather in Australia? I live in sweden and it is like 31 celsius(87,8 Fahrenheit) and my fan and open windows do not help much! It is so warm that it makes me want to kill myself :-) P.s. Doesn't help that my hair is very thick and it goes to the tip of my nose and like 1 inch below my ears! :)
I've been growing my hair out for 10 months now I don't give a shit about people And i loved how I looked Bur i wasn't grooming my said burn So that fucks up the look but i still love it
I'm 3 months in growing my uner cuts and they look horrible , I've thought of cutting all my hair more than once cause of that and I've been growing it for 8 months
My hair just never grows on the sides and back and only on top. I currently just have it tied back on top with a short bit in the front to hide the hair that isn't long enough to tie. My sides are a bit mad but I just use Bobby pins to pull it back
@@thomasinaction Yeah I thought so. That's why I asked. I too have naturally curly hair like you bro and I have been seeing you with straight hair in most of your videos recently so I was just thinking if you straighten it for every single video?
