I understand the purpose is to sell your products, but why not incorporate sawing into the process and eliminate the extra machinery? I would also like to see more on multiple part placement particulars. We have a promaster 7225 5xl, and have locating stops along the front and side edges. With multiple part machining,, how do you determine your front and back side operation clearances ?
Hello, you are correct, we want to demonstrate the integration of machines and therefore we use a Dimter Easy Stop for the cutting and labeling of parts prior to the 5 axis machining. The saw blade on the Promaster could be utilized to cut components to size, extra caution must be made when locating the pods. Depending on the size of the machine, this longer part could affect whether or not pendulum processing is an option. As for the clearances when setting up multiple parts at multiple pin positions, we use the BetterSim module in Campus. This allows the user to see full machine setup and simulate the parts placed onto the pods. The simulation will show any potential collisions that may occur.
