The problem is that full effort/your best is often not good enough. Ie. You cannot live on $10k a year. It's easy to say WHAT to do, but where is the HOW. I understand the philosophy he's trying to preach, but it's a bit empty.

The common problem that isn’t mentioned during many of motivational vids is you can make all the right choices but things outside of your control can derail your goals. Things like divorce, accidents and health problems.

There will always be things that are outside of our control that could potentially derail our goals. However, I think the key is to train the mind to rise above the noise so that you do not let the inevitable dark seasons of life destroy your progress and life. Easier said than done, I know.
