Nice ideas as usual Ann. I don't think I could visit my family in the UK in summer with the lack of air conditioning. I can't handle the heat in the USA but our air conditioning kicks in as soon as it gets hot.
Thank you for the circle of scraps - using this design with yellow and oranges makes it a sun. Great idea to use up the bits and peices also. A rainbow of scraps around the circle would be wonderful for Pride cards. What a great idea to use up the 2 inch peices at the very end.
Love these ideas, especially the rosettes! Does paper weight matter when making rosettes. I would imagine thinner paper is better than thick, but can the paper be too thin?
Oh my goodness, I’m just at the beginning of the rosettes part. You could totally use the rosettes in the middle of the first card, put on with a magnet or removable tape and put a note on the inside of the card that it’s a keepsake ornament. Back to watching. It’ll be funny if you say the same thing. I’m glad you left it in the video.

Awe, Ann, bless your heart. This heat wave we've had here in the UK has been a real struggle, and still you put on amazing tutorials!! No 'one would have blamed you resting, up especially in this sticky hot weather!. Thankyou for explaining how to do a rosette. I have never done one in my life - apart from awards and at animal shows, we don't use them much in Australia. Now I know what to do! :-)

Hi Ann, reading a few of the comments lots didn’t know how to make the rosettes so it’s great you show the whole process,that’s what puts you apart from so many other RU-vidrs, you do actually do a tutorial. 👍🏻🥰🥰 One thing,could you post a link to the Etsy shop you had the ephemera from? I really like the paper rosettes , they are so different and gorgeous! I did not know how to make those , so thank you Ann. That is my next project coming up .

I like this first idea. It’s a much better way to use scraps than I’ve seen around RU-vid on different channels. 2nd ornament I think I have an old Tim Holtz rosette die. I will have to pull it out. BUT your way is better because you can make it bigger. Scissors do you use to fussy cut? I’ll have to watch the rest later. ✌️

Great ideas! I’ve been on a kick for about 3 months to use all my scraps. I’ve been making my own custom ephemera and quilt cards but never thought to use dies to cut tags. Gotta go now and give that a try! TFS😊
