Really enjoying this conversational style. I hadn't seen those tents, but I'm loving how simple and effective the card + paper is! Large peppercorns make great cannonballs or catapult fodder :) All around great ideas and execution!
Nice, always glad to have a new activity to do with my players. I bring my paints to sessions as sometimes folks want to paint during downtime and we do paint nights as well as a group, so these simple but effective crafts will be a great addition to those!
That does look like the easiest tents I've seen yet. Nice! Also, mustard seed make great scale fruit. VERY fine sand can make good grain, but sprinkle baking soda on top of super glue works, too.
The green dulled down quite a bit once it dried! I am always shocked how much darker paints look when they've finished drying. I do want to say that anytime you want to show off more Turnip 28 stuff, I'm down for that. Thought on the tents! If you made a cut up one of the opened sides and then used a brush or piece of wood to push the edge away a little bit while it was drying, it would hold a slightly curled shape and look like a tent with its front open.
Love these pieces! Trash is my favourite terrain material ❤ In the spirit of "I am poor, but I still want to make terrain" - for folks who don't have circular plastic bases, I've used old plastic giftcards. Similar non-warping properties. Can be trimmed if needed. Highly recommend giving them a quick sanding for adhesion though.
This was cute. Do you have a craft wishlist so people can directly go buy you things you need? I know you have Patreon but sometimes people don't want to commit but can afford a splurge...
