Just joined a club will fish the odd match ,my top kit has markers on it,but can i ask do u shot the float down more when u make the rigs at home,where abouts on the bristle should i over shot to?,,,i thought id ask your opinion as only started pole fishing last season,current pole is preston x10,,upgrade shortlist is for 16m pole is, garbolino,mtx3 v2 heard is heavy past 13m,,,x50 preston,,map 501,g90 diawa your advice would be appreciated thanks.
Careful over shotting your rig as some clubs won’t allow that rig. If you can shot your rigs with Number 9 or 10 shots just to give you a gradual fall of your bait and plumb up accurately you should be fine.
@@paulgoodwin81 thanks any advice on new pole mine is x10 13m, match venues i will fish will need 14.5m,havent got flagship money was looking at mtx3 regards steve.
When shotting my float down I have 1-2mm of bristle showing above the water, this allows me to see delicate bites that I may have missed otherwise. I use the MTX3 pole (great for the money) so I would recommend that or the G90. Regards, Steve.
