From watching your gameplay, the number 1 thing that makes the most difference is actually hitting shots. People can learn every little tip or strategy for this, but if they can't hit shots, it won't work. When I started getting my first 2k, 3k, etc. badges, it almost always meant that my aim was getting more consistent. My biggest struggle in the early days was just missing free damage and either dying because of it or just lacking just a bit of damage for that next highest badge. Now I have the 3500 badge on multiple legends but I haven't quite hit 4k. I've been really close though, my highest is 3925, which is incredibly annoying being only 75 damage off.
For people saying sens is their issues. Please take advantage of tdm to figure out the perfect sense. Its the perfect gamemode to experiment and warm up. My issue is positioning, I always get caught slacking because im moving to quick and my over confidence in fights will get me killed.
I feel like I experience a lot of aim inconsistencies depending on the day and Idk what it relates to. Knowing this I hit the range before I hop in a game and get my hands and fingers warmed up to my movement, recoil, tracking etc.. thats one thing that held me back a lot and nowadays it’s mostly trying to become aggressive but not calculating my next move which always holds me back. As for 20 bombs by excuse will forever be I can’t find people 🤓
I think my problem is always commitment, btw never intended to have a 4k badge but knowing how the game works everything you mentioned sounds solid, I think also teammates play a role into getting the 4k badge, if they are the type of person that rush things up they might take a chunk of damage from your hands, my best matches when it comes to damage it's always with players who play passive...
I dropped a 4300 damage game with Loba a week ago. What’s funny is that I had 2300 damage with 2 other squads left. I really farmed 2000 damage off 2 teams😭 I was about to end the game but then the inner Scrappy 4K farming instincts kicked in lmao It was on trios where my two bot teammates died and left so I was farming 6 people on my own. Got the dub too 😎 Thanks Scrap
For some reason I just can't deal with a secondary spray. I do better with a Sentinel and quick scoping everyone😂. I mainly got my 3500 dmg is because of the last tip, I farmed a ton from a team that's constantly peeking from high ground and I was so close until I couldn't stay behind cover due to ring and had to push. It was just me and a hound as well cuz other guy quit. Carried the hound during my early Loba days as well
Man this happens to me a lot. I only play trios (but I will start playing duos more often) but I do better when ever one of my teammates leave and it’s just me and another. For me, the G7 is my thing or I’ll just run the old reliable, the R400 😌
Got a couple of 3k and 3.5k games but my issue is, I end up going back to this one mind set that I should finish this quick and get the dub rather than saying, hey I’m close lemme try farming these teams 🤦🏽♂️ gotto work on that
After playing the first 5 seasons, i started playing again last season. Tips are good, but one thing is, alot of players are just bad. Either bad game sense, bad inventory management, bad aim, if your not decent at one of these aspects in apex, then it will be a struggle, so practice, warm up your aim in tdm, you need to hit alot of your shots, and sometimes you just come up ahainst good co ordinated teams, and theres really not alot you can do
My biggest tip is run a triple take 3030 or g7 in your load out. I noticed I can poke the most damage with those. I usually go with a flatline along side one of the three
hey i love the video but would want to help a bit with editing (for example in the part where you're saying the best spots to land at, I could add a map and circle those spots so even newer players know instantly which exact spot you mean)
Was able to get a finally get a 4k with rampart by watching multiple of your videos where you get high damage including this one. I’m not as good as you are with r301 recoil so I used a 3030
My problem was that I let my ego get the best of me and pushed stuff saying “if I can’t wipe these squads then I don’t deserve the 4k” and charge right in and die. When I could have assessed my best option. Timing is everything when you push, you have to push when they’re low or you have a clear advantage in the gun fight and nothing else, another great reminder is that kids are really bad at offense in this game but really excellent at defense so use that to your advantage when farming and always play with your strengths
when i came back to this game i played the last half of last season and hit diamond and got a 3k and i felt good but this season i feel like im even better getting easier wins easier rp and easier high dmg games got my first 4k on bloodhound last week
I have a hard time actually getting in the fight to do enough damage, or if I do get in the fight, It's hard not to get beamed even with a practiced strafe...
I dropped 3k in duos today and my highest damage is 3500 I can get at least 1 3k every 3-4 days if I play but I just struggle getting to that 4k I drop those damage games in duos but I never do good in trios idk why I just don’t do good I’m currently going for diamond this season I have solo Qd from rookie this season so far and I’m plat 3 I get told that I’m ass even and I let that effect my game play so I think that’s a big reason I can’t get to that 4k or even do good sometimes
My biggest problem is I will land in the wrong places either places where I think it’ll have a few teams then don’t see anyone till 8 squads or my randoms or I drop real hot and get beat to guns
Thanks for this glorious video! Seems everything in there but at least you didn't mention it so I think it's self-explanatory, is it right that it doesn't really matter what kind of Legends you use for this?
😅playing at 200ms and having packet loss consistently and conveniently when I’m fighting. I’ve been so close to a 4k so many times only to have my last fight look like stop motion
My problem is that I am scared when my teammate leaves and whenever I play with my friends I am not scared idk but most of the time I play with randoms when they die I get super scared any advice for this.
I think you could absolutely blame the lobbies sometimes 😂 luck plays a huge role in this. Before all the comments come in I’m sure this guy plays the game a lot more than the average player so yes it is easier for him…
In ring two of this game there are 12 squads left what should we do if by ring two there are only 4 squads left? You keep saying don’t blame the lobbies but I’m confused
Tip #1: Use controller so you get that computer assisted damage bump Just kidding, no shade. Obviously controllers are overpowered right now, but you still have to play well to be consistent.
Sbmm is ruining my damage badge games lol I’m literally trying to get my first 2k and sbmm makes me go up against diamonds/masters and today I was close but got killed by a 3x pred. I’m not that great at the game but I’m trying to get better and 2k is my dream lol it’s all I want in apex
I feel like I have inconsistent mechanics, aim is fine highest damage is 3997 on wraith but can't consistently get high damage due to what I consider small mistakes around mid or end game.
I have a question for you. As a lvl 290 caustic main with around 1.5kd, I never play much public games. I got 2.9k at most, so no 4k badge as of yet. It seems like the lobbies are highly unbalanced, could be because i'm eu (belgium server) I get put with teammates lvl 400 that can't hold a gun forreal, or lvl 35 new 'just started players', which have no game sense. The other teams however, are two stack masters/preds, that obliterate the entire lobby with 10 to 15 kills. I've solo queued to diamond before, so I know how to play the game a bit, I guess... Would you recommend me to do no fill lobbies for 4k, or to toggle fill on, in lobbies? It seems that the lobbies are slightly less sweaty on no fill, have you any idea?
id say i am protty desent at the game and the only problem i have is not a very good aim and very very very bad ping on the speed test it says 6mb/s and this is when i am alone at home (live whit 3 more people)and ingame ping is 70-150 so id say these are the only things holding me back . tips?
You probably can’t help me with this but it’s my ping. I live in Kenya, Africa so I have to use Bahrain servers which used to have on avg 80 ping but now it’s 150 and the queue times are unreal like u can’t get in a game and the next server I had to use was Belgium and they have 200 ping and rising I can name multiple matches where I could have had a high damage game but I lag spiked and died cause of it the highest I’ve got so far are 3k games on seer and Valkyrie( who’s my current main, planning on switching to loba as my primary cause she is my secondary and really fun I have a 2.5 on her )
I have a question I want to get better at sniping in this game so I set a goal to start with a 2k then up through a 4k do you have any tips for something like that
The most important tip is: plug in a controller so you get free, unbannable auto aim. Most people struggle getting a 4K simply bc they're using their mouse and are responsible for 100% of their aim.
i think my main problem is my aim, even though i still kinda be beaming, bc i have like pro movement, glides mantlejumps, the whole shabang, but what ends up happening is i ego i 1v1 and get like hit from another angle, im 1 shot and i get full chased so like i cant heal and cant fight back bc i die. maybe like luck? stall for the 3rd party or sum? bc everytime im low like that i get chased by someone that like knows where i am an its usually a pred
My issue is I suck at rotating. Sometimes off drop I’ll have 6-7 kills and 1-2k damage but then don’t know how to execute the rest of the match . I know follow the dropship path but damn I just can’t do it. 18 kills 3780 damage is my highest. I have multiple 3k games so maybe one day ? Lmao
My problem is I can’t aim it seems like everyone else can one clip and hit all thier shots but not me I can find a perfect sens for me on controller to beam
Whats holding me back from a 4k is my skill and doubts. I sometime get 1k damage when there still like 30 people alive but I run into a team then die. I need to get better but I dont know what it is probably movement or just aim idk.
Enemies/people dying too fast. I the type of person that will just kill you and not farm you. to get a 4k i find myself needing to drop 1000+ damage on two squads before killing them. then play naturally which results in dropping the remaining 2k damage.
