I loved the drop in Amsterdam... I got a pack of 1 of each and loved trying all the different kinds. I feel like in America most people don't like black licorice but I love it. I love Albert Cuyp Market! The chocolate stroopwafels were heaven... the best food I've EVER had was in Amsterdam, no lie. I'm still dreaming about the pancake bakery...

So you in Amsterdam right now? I always wanted to go there. When is the best time? My friend and I are planning a trip there. Not sure when him and I live in different states. Physically we haven't seen each other in years. We keep in touch. I tried a trip to the Bahamas it wasn't good. Going to Amsterdam would be the experience of a lifetime. Thanks Joe,
Best time is in summer, June-September. It’s always tricky planning holidays with friends, but well worth it. Amsterdam offers everything a traveller would want, food, art, music, architecture, etc. Good luck.
You are welcome any time. I'd suggest to look out for one of the big public festivals. King's Day is a favourite. The city goes crazy. It's a once in a lifetime experience....unless you live here ;-)
