Without the Casiotron there would be no F91W, A158 or the A168. Those may be iconic, especially because RU-vidrs are constantly putting videos about them but they are not nearly as useful and feature packed as the Royale or the calculator watches so this list is pretty on point IMO.
@xeozeo pretty good But got some scratches One thing I can guarantee is that this watch can withstand fights as I had one and nothing happened to the watch except few scratches on the glass
The DBC32 in black and the AE1200 black will be delivered tomorrow. I cancelled both watches in 'metal' after finding out the body is also plastic with metal look. Still not sure if I made the right choice with the royale in black. I know you can buy quality metal body and wrist for almost 200 dollars though.
I remember seeing that one as a kid back in either 1996, or '97, or even '98 when I saw one of my dad's relatives wore one, and I was like "can I wear it", and he said "no", and I was like "😢". I'm glad that today Casio is still making them as I saw one in a watch store in a nearby shopping mall, and I think they also made a successor to the original. Back then, it was the coolest watch I ever saw.
As a kid, wearing a calculator was meaning you are the king of the class or even the school. As a seasoned watch collector, I own the DBC 32 and enjoy it ;)
Back then no smart phones, hell barely people use cellphones so this calculator watch was a hit. Some can even store phone numbers, back when public phones were common
Not eveeything there has to be there to fulfill the purpose. If thats rhe case, nobody should wear a wrist watch as time can be checked on the phones in the pocket. But still we use watches as an ornament or jewelery or just a hobby of collecting the vintage watches.
World time, 5 alarms, futuristic look, and analog time in the left corner. Can be moded you could by secondmarket cases and put it in. Think it has a Timer to wich most cheep casios miss. It is considered a realy good watch. Better then F91.
