#4 is #1 IMO, thanks Carl! If my looper were to have a complete meltdown, I still have a show without it. 👍🏻

I ruin so many recordings of live looping because of weird bad sounding endings. Great tips!! Every 1's tru!!

Would love to see more when you use Sheeran Looper+, I am considering to buy it but I am afraid I am unable to play with it. Please show some song that can use this Looper+. Thank you

Hi Carl, you are such an inspiration ! I have a specific question, I play with the same guitare as you, the Diesel with a RC300.. On some songs , I start with a chord sequence (slut1) , and after, I add a rythm pattern (slut2) by hitting my guitar. The little problem is that I still hear the chord sequence in the background on my beat looping So, when I put out the chord sequence, I still hear (a little bit). the chord sequence on the beat track. I cut the inside microphone of the AP5pro and it didn't change anything. Same for feedback buster . The sound is probably absorb by the piezo... Maybe you experience the same issue ... Thank you Carl !

Love your looping videos. I’m thinking about getting the new Sheeran Looper. What’s a good guitar you’d recommend? I’ve been using my Martin D16 but I can’t seem to get much of a percussive loop, especially on the kick drum sound?

Thanks, my recommendation is for sure the same guitars I USE haha. Any "Maton" guitar will definitely help with the sound.

Hello! 👋 I'm curious which acoustic guitar pickup you're using? Does looping often cause feedback during live performances?
@carlwockner
@carlwockner Месяц назад
@@Darrykoe it’s a Maton AP5 pro pickup. Best I’ve ever used by far! No feedback issues, but it all depends on how you mix your loops live etc

Carl, Did you find doing that play through technique help tighten up your loops so that when you do stop/starts to create dynamics they snap back still in the pocket? I find that my loops are good enough to play over a good percentage of the time but when I try to introduce stop/starts I have these tiny lags on the one that I didn't realize were there.
@MagnusKlo
@MagnusKlo Месяц назад
Our ears have a tendency to accept what it hears. Especially when repeated. Repetition legitemizes. The lagg might have been there all the time. Try walking away from your loop ND hearing it 30 mins later. It might not be the banger you felt when you recorded it. Of course I can not know wether this is true in your case, but it definitely happens to me :)

@@gerimayawhyte154 this will absolutely help that mate:) it’s more important when you hit start for when u end up using the stop start idea

@@carlwockner Thanks, I'll start trying to incorporate that into my looping.

@@MagnusKlo Yeah I hear you. It's easier to accept a loop that doesn't quite land on the one but manages to kinda work itself out before the bar is over. I feel like a small lag is harder to hear than a skip. There very well could be an element of ear fatigue though as I feel like I can hear it better when a fellow looper is setting up his beats. I'll think "Oh there's an obvious (at least to my ears) slight lag". I could see this tip being helpful.
