Stock picking is a risky thing to do particularly for non-professionals, I learnt the hard way in 2021 when I lost almost everything but I was lucky switch to using an advisor who has better knowledge of the market than I do and ever since I've been returning at least $70k every month, just too bad I didn't know this all my life.

True, initially I wasn't quite impressed with my gains, opposed to my previous performances, I was doing so badly, figured I needed to diverssify into better assets, I touched base with a portfolio-advisor and that same year, I pulled a net gain of $550k...that's like 7times more than I average on my own.

Exactly how long did it take you to understand that? Because I have been doing everything I can to profit from this bear market for the last 7 months, after watching a lot of trading videos and reading a lot of strategy and technical analysis books and still have nothing to show for it, I am slowly leaning towards the idea that I'm incredibly unlucky in trading, plus I should be retiring in a few months, so any advice would be good, and yes, I've tried getting a CFA as well, but it's hard to find one that really understands the full gamut of the different sections. , I'm very open-minded and if I can't have it all then there's no point if you know what I mean.
@@jeffmills4536 Just over a year and I had to rethink my strategies, which took a while, but I finally had the answer and it was uphill from there. Honestly, my AI has been great and honestly all my success has been because of that, although it took me a while to get to the CFA I'm under contract with right now.

I feel for you. New guys must realize the risks all these come with. You could lose everything and you could gain everything. It goes both ways. Secondly, what works for A must not necessarily work for B and you shouldn't be a bandwagon investor.

Tying up money due to an apocalyptic stock market crash is also not a smart move. Life is a risk and it's better to take risks than to do nothing, you can't always expect to make huge profits all the time, people have so many opinions about a recession/depression. In just 5 months my portfolio grew by $300,000 in gross profit, the main thing is to expand your portfolio and you will see amazing results by investing.
These are surely desperate times, but in my opinion, there is no market condition that a good financial advisorr cannot navigate, especially those that have existed since the crisis of 2008 and before.

I just have my investing currently in index funds mainly, but have been putting a lot into Schd the past few months. I don’t know if that's the optimal strategy, but psychologically it is very set it and forget it, and prevents me from obsessing over individual stock performance.
Instead of using different brokerage accounts to purchase index funds or individual stock, compare your age(s) and how much time you have estimated till retirement, you can also opt to consulting/working with a fund manager/advisor for an “optimal strategy” to outperform the bear market.

The only issue you might have is the fear of missing out, just like everyone else. A good number of people discredit the effectiveness of financial advisors in exploring new markets, but over the past 10years I’ve had a financial advisor consistently restructure and diversify my portfolio/expenses and I’ve made over $1million in gains… might not be a lot but i'm financially secure.

EPS around Rs. 120 per share. Company did not issue any Bonus Shares so far. Nor did split. Floating stock only 10%. Means around 66000 shares only. Dividend Rs. 12 per share. Listed only in BSE. These are very valuable rules for anybody who wants to get rich. Unfortunately, most people who will watch this video will not really be able to apply the principles. We may not want to admit, but as Warren Buffett once said, investing is like any other profession-- it requires a certain level of expertise. No surprise that some people are losing a lot of money in the bear market, while others are making hundreds of thousands in profit. I just don't know how they do it. I have about $109k now to put in the market.
