This is a comprehensive course with tons of exercises and quizzes which will help you to sharpen your skills in python. 3 Python for absolute beginners by 365 careers, Gilles McMullen Klein (The python programmer). His RU-vid channel is worth checking too. 4 Ardit Sulce: Ardit has a variety of courses on python ranging from automation to a comprehensive course that rivals that of Angela Yu. He also has a course where you can hone your python skills by solving tons of exercises that range from easy to hard in difficulty. 5 Python Data Structures and Algorithms by Scott Barrett: The best data structures and algorithms course on Python.

Which Course is Best for Mastering Core Python? 'The Complete Python Bootcamp' by Jose Portilla or '100 Days of Code' by Dr. Angela Yu?

"The Complete Python Bootcamp" is the best short path to mastery, only ~ 3 to 5 days effort. The "100 Days of Code" is good, but 100 days and 65+ hours is too long for most people to actually finish; the approach is a little too heavy. I liked both of them, but did not make time to finish 100 days before I moved on to other courses.

I think Dr. Angela's course is No 1. I have learned so much from it and its a total of 63 hours compared to Jose Portilla's course of 22 hours. I have purchased both courses and if you really want to get into the root of the analysis, you have to take Dr Yu's course.

The Zero to Mastery course is no longer being updated because Andrei Neagoie has his own website now where he sells his courses for a large monthly fee. Worse yet, Andrei is just not a very good instructor. He provides outdated information in his videos because he doesn't make an effort to ensure his knowledge is up-to-date before he starts teaching. He also makes plenty of blunders while running his code because he just 'wings it' instead of preparing everything diligently beforehand. In contrast, an instructor like Angela Yu has everything prepared before she starts recording. I pity anyone who is paying a monthly fee to access Andrei's courses because there are better alternatives on Udemy for a small one-time fee if purchased on sale. Another great course that appeared after this video was filmed is Dr. Fred Baptiste's Python 3: Fundamentals. His courses average 4.8 stars.

@@heybyron1261 If you really want to learn from scratch so that you can have a good, rock solid foundation on coding, this is the best course in my opinion. It's gradually becoming outdated I agree but it's the basics needed to be a good coder.
