Ahoy Legends! This week you join us on the hunt for BIG flathead as I join the boys from Team Zerek to fish R1 of the Wilson Elite Series.
The competition is held in the Gold Coast Region with you largest 5 flathead of the day being combined to give you an overall score!

See the glass rattles have made a come back for the soft plastics and made for the hard body lures as well. Bigger the better by the looks.???.

G'day Sammy I'm a relatively new subscriber, the reason I'm Messaging you is because I'm new fisher but very bad at catching anything 😓 I go out fishing with my mate who is brilliant at fishing. he has several boats and 100's of lures and roughly 30 to 40 rods and he tries to show me to fish but i need more training and more time fishing but we are going fishing on his boat in September/October 2023 this year focusing on our 2nd trip on Flathead during the day and bull-shark during the night. I was wondering if you could do a fair few more flat head fishing videos. PLEASE!! it would be much appreciated. If so TYVM your a champ!!! ps our first trip is based on one weekend rainbow trout fishing at ebor! our 2nd trip is at Lawrence and Yamba fishing flat head and bull-shark then 3rd trip boambee fishing for multiple species of fish including Flathead, mullaway, bream and whiting!! all if weather is good. The Biggest flathead i have caught was 32 inches which pissed me off because i thought i had caught my elusive 1 yarder but it was a fine lizard indeed , i failed to weigh it as i hate hanging big fish by their jaws . Any one have an idea on a rough weight for a flathead that size.
