1) WRONG CAR - yes, it can be, that You have simply bought a wrong car which is completely not suitable for your goal. Quite some people start building something to drive in race tracks from a car which they already have or think it would be a cool tracktool without giving it too much thought...
2) MODIFY, THEN REPAIR - I know I know, it's such a pleasure to start upgrading your car - but thats a huge mistake! And usually quite expensive... Fix your car, make it as good as it can be and just then start dropping mods in.
3) NO MONEY - NO HONEY - Cars is an expensive hobby, deal with it. Do some maths before, so you could really enjoy your BMW M3 or Citroen C1 at the track.
4) BUILDING IN STAGES - Your last stage probably includes roll cage? So you put performance mods in front of safety... Do your project car in one big stage - you will save money, save time and have much better car to race!
5) NO PLAN - Make a good plan before anything, include all racing parts, custom jobs, prices and car availability upfront. With a good plan You will build your project car with an ease!
