Totally enjoyed the video, despite zero Marathi skills. Will definately try to get the English versions. When it comes to Marathi writers, all that I have read is Kiran Nagarkar's books. Loved them! Please get sir to do a review on God Delusion.

These are all the books my father introduced to me as a kid when he imbibed the reading habit in me. Lost him when I was very young. But this video reminded me of those times when I used to visit the local library with him to pick up books.

I think sir meant the Jnanpith award in connection with Khandekar, Kusumagraj and Nemade. Sahitya Akademi award is given to a book in Marathi every year.

Lovely segment Anuya! Farach avadle. Growing up I had heared of these books from my father who is also an avid reader . Showed my baba this video and he was so happy! Being a Maharashtrian, yet it is difficult for me to read in Marathi so will definitely pick up the translations now! Ps: loved the camaraderie that you share with your baba!! 😀

💙💙 please do a series with exclusive episodes dedicated to each of these authors. Also, would love to hear his take on Hindu: Jaganyachi Samruddha Adgal by Bhalchandra Nemade. It is one of the most debated/controversial books by a polarising author.
