Super helpful tips! Capcut's smooth transitions are a life-saver for my RU-vid edits. Recently, I've also been exploring boost app social to add that extra flair to my social media. It's got this cool feature for enhancing profile pics and creating catchy captions. Perfect for when I want to connect my RU-vid creativity with my social vibe.
This video is just what I was searching for. This is my third time watching it. When I first watch it gave me chills as seemed to be a lot to learn. Then I re watched it again and again and put attention on the details as I was rehearsing in real life. Now It gives me enough confidence and skills to start editing my first online course. Thank you, Anthony !
Man, I used some of these edits on a recent video, and it looks so much better. Still learning, but it helps get my content out there looking a little more engaging.
Thanks so much Anythony this is sooo helpful. KInd of you to be helpful. I learn so much from your video editing for RU-vid and inspires me with fresh ideas
I can't tell you how hugely important it was to find this video! Recently, I was handed the challenge of creating TikTok content. I defaulted to Premier because it's what I knew. Then, just recently, I found Capcut! Even though I now have to learn all over again, I feel confident that my output is going to improve buy leaps and bounds! Videos like this are critical to my learning. Thanks so much!
Thanks for the video although I’m confused about the concept of capcut. In their terms of service they say it’s for personal use only and not commercial use but yet RU-vidrs use it for RU-vid videos and channels get monetised and capcut in their FAQs state yes RU-vid monetisation is allowed. Am I misunderstanding something.
I've been using the pull out transition since the early 80s. That's how I avoided child support. 😂😂😂 All jokes aside, buddy. Love your channel. My videos are getting so much better. I'm starting to feel like a true professional. Keep up the great work.
@@MrPaulXavier that said, my computer is too old, can’t handle video editing only audio. Some tips for editing on the phone CapCut would make some great content….;) thanks for all the help. Def my favorite channel for this style content
Can't agree with it. Have capcut on comp and never use it. Da Vinci on comp for cutting then export to ipad and capcut there for volor grading brolls effects, sounds and text. Fast and effective On comp capcut is much worse, everything takes twice the time
I’ve been using the capcut mobile app forever but I just found out about and downloaded the laptop app this morning. Seeing this on lunch break is a sign! Time to step up my editing game from iMovie 💪🏼 Thank you for the tips!
Just played with it some this morning! I found some very cool features and practiced a few of these moves. I'm already considering getting Pro so I can do camera tracking and a few other additions on my posing clips 🤔@@MrPaulXavier
@@MrPaulXavier glad to hear that! I know I’m still a super amateur at editing so I don’t plan on upgrading until I feel more versed with the free but if I can learn more like this maybe I won’t need to! Subbing now 💪🏼
Hi i want to know how you did the black fade and then text overlay «using transitions…» at 4:26. i dont know what to search on YT to find specifically this tyoe of edit
Halo. I'm glad that I stumbled upon this video. It helps me to improve my editing skills especially for my new RU-vid show on my channel. I hope I could polish my A TO Z SHOW Season 2 with more improved quality. Plus, I'm using CapCut PC and it's the best. Keep it up mate!
I can watch this guy for hours... great job, thanks ! Also how can I get the free LUTS as the link in the description is not really helpful, it shows "The connection was reset." and nothing much I can do, thanks in advance !
CapCut has layer issues hope they will solve it soon. When I wanna add text on the videos and add some blur effect I can’t drag over the place I want, all has blur effect . Otherwise it’s amazing editing software
@MrPaulXavier - Thanks for this incredible video. Can you please mention how do you use blurred background with text on top of it? Also, how can I use Texts with multicolor? For example, "This Is Fun" This - Blue Is - Yellow Fun - Red
@@MrPaulXavier thanks! I am a HS/college teacher and have been telling stories professionally daily in front of a crowd for almost 20 years. My class has a waiting list. So I have the knowledge but have a HUGE learning mountain ahead of me in filming/editing etc. However what I make as a teacher isn't sustaining my family so wanna try my hand at YT. Hard doing it on the side. It certainly isn't as "easy" as it looks!
One thing I never could figure out is how to keep consistency within the project? In pro looking videos all effects, popups and transitions somehow have the same look and duration. I'm too focused on getting each effect or transition or animation looking great, so they end up not looking cohesive, maybe they have different durations or different spascing between them. Would love a tutorial on this, coulnd't find one anywhere.
It’s definitely something that comes with time and experience but generally I wouldn’t use too many different graphics. Just try to modify a small handful over and over
Dear I am really interested about your videos. I am beginer to capcut. When I am adding transitions videos, there is no inbuilt sound in those transitions. Is it normal thing? Should I add sound clips? Or is it a error of my capcut app?
Love your videos, but still need help! I am on free version, and when I add my own text, there is no option to animate. I am trying to get the typewriter effect. Also found the typewriter text template, but no way ro slow it down. Please help!
Hi, just a quick question. I’m interested in the 14 day filmmaker smartphone edition course, but I only have an old iPhone 8 and it doesn’t have all the extra lenses and settings like some of the latest phones. Would this course still be useful for me to do and will I benefit by not having all the latest equipment, etc…? The only other pieces of equipment I have are a tripod, and a gimbal. Thanks for your time.
Yes absolutely!! Our approach focused on the fundamentals much more than the gear, so I’m confident anyone with any phone will find the course valuable. And if you don’t like it we’ll refund you :)
I think action cams are great for things you can’t film with modern phones. So water based stuff, other things where you may not want to risk losing a $1400 phone, aside from that I prefer smartphone cameras
I’ve been using the free CapCut for PC for about 5 months now. But my workspace layout doesn’t appear like yours does. Is mine up to date? Or are you using the Pro plan work space but demonstrating the free options? 🤔 Oh, and how do I get my audio volume to play back on RU-vid at the same level as it was when I edited it in CapCut? Once mine gets to RU-vid it’s much lower. 😕 Peace and love.
quick question, i hit the link, entered an email, signed up, but cant find the free motion graphics. What did i miss? And this video is quite helpful. Just want to try that motion graphic thing.
This is a wealth of information. However everything I'm finding online is geared towards a very specific style, and those styles are all the same. Is this course geared towards the same tech looking style? Or are there various "looks" and demographics. I understand all of the applications (buttons) but it would be amazing to find examples geared towards a different audience. Say, a bit of an older, sophisticated, fashion audience. What would a "Vogue magazine" video look like? So far all I'm finding are fashion Twinkies, Korean aesthetic journal/lifestyle (also works for wedding), Mr Beast Gen Z and these tutorials that all skew toward tech looking.
I would say we try to really focus on the fundamentals that will make developing your OWN style much easier compared to just mimicing or copying another style. Our personal style is a little on the techy side of things but I don't think you will feel that is the only style we teach. Hopefully that helps!
@@MrPaulXavier Thanks for the response. It's tricky because there's an entire audience of us "older" business owners that are needing to adopt video to genres that are not well represented. So we have no starting point. I've got a solid understanding of my demographic, my branding and my needs OUTSIDE of video, but no idea how to translate that. The fact that I'm not seeing any videos from a similar demographic tells me that I'm not the only one. Tried hiring it out and everything came back totally off the mark. I actually LOVE editing and happy to take the course, but just like when you say you have a few favourite backgrounds or transitions that work for X audience, that's only helpful for people building content for those audiences.
im interested in getting the 14 day film maker course. pls can you advise do you supply training footage to edit in the editing part of the course so that it is possible to "follow along"? BR Sarah
I like your way of teaching. my question is does 14 Day RU-vidr included with 14 day film maker or they're separated and each one of them has a price or just $48 for both of them ?? What about the downloadable sounds effect are they free or not
14 Day Filmmaker, 14 Day RU-vidr, and 14 Day Smartphone Filmmaker are all included together for $48 - it is an insane deal. There are a ton of sound effects included for free in the course.
Been thinking about seriously learning video editing for a while now (to start posting content on Insta) but i prefer to edit on my phone since i shoot everything with it. Is it sensibly the same thing on the mobile version? If not, could you consider doing a mobile version? Thanks for the video!
The phone program almost perfectly mirrors the computer one... BUT judging off of the fact that you used the word "serious" when it comes to learning video editing I would HIGHLY suggest you focus on using a computer as much as you can. The phone app is great but it is extremely hard to do professional level edits with the small phone screen and also having to use your fingers. A larger screen and traditional mouse + keyboard is 10X better
Roger that! When i said "serious", i didn't mean professional filmmaking or anything >< Really just want to start content creation on insta like travel/tech/fitness content but thank you for the tip!! @@MrPaulXavier
@@MrPaulXavier honestly the way you explain things is very straightforward and simple. If your course is anything like this, i might just get it to support you 😂🙌🏻
I’m a novice in the video creating arena. So still in the learning stage. And just started using CapCut. Found out that the editing software is free. But will not export your video unless you get the pro version. Which charges you a fee! So I purchased the monthly subscription. Soon after CapCut sent me a 30 day free trial! 🙄
I signed up for your 14 day filmaker and its a great class, I am curious as to what software you use to show your images from the cap cut interface. Loom doesnt seem to be a good tool for that, what do you use?
I record my camera and screen separately, but then I edit them in premiere pro. You can do the same thing in Capcut with the screen record layer on the bottom and the camera footage one layer up with a circle mask on it
Bro i really love Your Outstanding Videos. Please Let me Know What Editing Software Should I Use In start for My RU-vid Channel from Scratch? Please Give Some Suggestions!
