Beautiful cards and the alcohol panels do look like fun. Love the alcohol lift and the "2nd generation" stamp image on the interior of card #1. My absolute favorite was your sympathy card and the use of the graphite pencils - gorgeous subtle and somber coloring, so appropriate for the occasion. Thank you for your opinions, sharing your gift, and your enthusiasm for card making. Hugaroonies!
Awesome cards. Love all of them. I can sit and watch your process all day long, so inspirational. Problem is, I’d never get anything done, if I did that, lol. However, it sure is great to sit and watch your videos, thank you for inspiring us.
Beautiful sympathy card -- also love the birthday card (and the lovely stamp on both). Would love to see the graphite pencils again, maybe on white as well.
I love these cards! I appreciate you using different mediums and techniques. It helps me to think about creating on a more broad scale. You’re one of my favorite designers! I love your videos!
EEEEKKK!!! I'm an IN LOVE with that colored pencil card - #2!! I too have a variety of colored pencils... but... but... NOT THOSE!!! I think they may need to find their way to my hoard... uh... COLLECTION! I have both the toned tan and toned gray paper - love them! You've now given me some more ideas for them (besides just the colored pencil drawings I was using them for!) Thanks so much for sharing!
I love the mixed media version of those papers and it comes in Toned Blue... These paper are perfect for pencil coloring, great tooth and nice and tick for card making!! Those pencils are very nice!
Oo! I have not seen the Toned Blue... yet another item for which I must be on the lookout to find! I did several rustic bird house drawings on the tan - everyone loved the look. I used Derwent soft drawing pencils - same idea, tinted with color, but more earth tones. Sigh... I love art materials!!
Wow, Desiree! These are 5 beautiful cards you created! I love all of them, but especially #4 is so eye-catching. I love your foiling on the alcohol ink backgrounds. I also learned how that Barely Beige SSS ink pad can be used. You are a great teacher! Thanks.
Love your videos! All of your cards with this kit are beautiful. I hope that you will do more with the colored graphite pencils. They have such a soft pretty look.
E v e r y single card is absolutely beautiful! Loved the graphite pencil card - would love to see a video using water with them! (I love all my watercolor pencils.). Thanks for another very informative video!
Include a Thank You ...and then some! Looking forward to it! I ordered the graphite pencils & they arrived yesterday. They’re truly beautiful! Thanks so much!😊
Beautiful cards. I am very intrigued by the graphite pencils. Not that I "need" to add to my collection, but I would love to see them as watercolor pencils. I loved your fix for the crooked lines. I have been much better about not tossing a card and starting over since watching your videos. I take a deep breath and try to channel your muse. Thanks for sharing.
Hi Desiree. Great to see your take on this. I am in love with this flower stamp. When using "watercolor" pencils, mine always break when sharpening. Is that just the nature of them, being soft? Mine break a lot - down deep. Thank you, Lee,
Either the Spectrum Noir or the Derwent are great! But start with a set of Spectrum Noir, better price point and this way you can see if you like them!
Really beautiful cards Desiree. I especially love the second one with the graphite pencils. But the last two with the alcohol ink backgrounders were really lovely as well.
I so enjoy wathing your design process and learn so much from them!! Thank you....p.s. not sure how the spelling is on the ink pad but think it should be bough...like...take a bow...i just have always used bough..not even sure if i am correct now that i think about it!! I watch your videos numerous times and catch something different each time!!
@@IncludeaThankYou I appreciate that!! You absolutely get kudos for getting on RU-vid!! I want to try it but my southern slang is slaaaaang!! Thanks so much for sharing!!!!😍
Hey Des, I love, love, love EVERYTHING... as always!😊 I do have a question though... I have all of the Spectrum Noir colored pencils and I have been unable to find a blending pencil, can I use any kind of blending pencils? I have gamsol of course but sometimes I like to just use the pencils ya know? If you have any suggestions I’d really appreciate your advice. Thanks in advance for your help and TFS.😊
Hey there Necie! First, thank you! So these are wonderful pencils to have... For a blending pencil you can use any brand... There are a couple items I like to use to blend.. My first choice is actually the white pencil itself, especially if I am doing florals... next up is the Prisma color Blender Pencil, this is a colorless pencil and acts like the white pencil, but again no color this time... You can definitely use either for your Spectrum Noir! I get my blender pencils on Amazon... Let me know if you need anything else!
