Zoo Tycoon 2 Mobile is not lost media. I literally emulated it last year.

Out of the 5 pieces media in the video only 1 is really lost media at the time of upload. ZTCDD has working Dev tools Zoo Tycoon 2 Mobile is still available ZT2 MM Beta got found last year

Holy shit i remember zoo tycoon mobile being advertised, here in Poland you could send a text message and somehow they sent you the game, i never did it but thats a nice wave of nostalgia.

You forgot to mention lost user-made downloadable content (which are considered as lost media), such as King Hoopla's/Verdant Gregor's old Diprotodon download (which was basically a giant brown koala with small ears).

I recently made a video comparison of Zoo Tycoon 2 Marine Mania features vs. Jurassic World Evolution 2 lagoons and if ZT2 MM also had these 5:48 Submarine Tour and Tank Connector Tubes it would have been even more devastating comparing the two games. Even without these, the almost 20 year old ZT2 MM has HEAPS more features than JWE2 lagoons which is very sad.

@@iguanobro9925Meh. Planet Zoo has objectively wayyyy more options than ZT2 ever did, even with mods. What ZT2 has over planet zoo is simplicity. It respects your time more and you don't need to spend 3 hours building one exhibit, but that doesn't mean it's a better game.

I saw this in the Zoo Tycoon Discords and had to check it out! Thank you for the shout out! 💖 -I really need to overhaul my channel some time :P- I worked on finding the Mobile games, archiving them and overhauling the wiki pages for them just a few months ago. (Lots of sketchy websites!) Though I will correct one thing, there are 3 maps on the original Mobile game, not just 1. I haven't dug into the sequel much yet though so I can't make any corrections or comments on that one yet. Also fun fact: The reason why the mobile games are 2D and not 3D is because phones were not yet capable of handling 3D graphics back when the games came out. The Asiatic Black Bear forever holds a special place in my heart. Fixing it up is actually the first mod I had ever made for the game!

It's so weird that out of all the nations to release a game like ZT Friends, they chose Trinidad and Tobago. This kind of reminds me the Doraemon early English dub that was released in only in Barbados. Seems like media like this only gets released to places like these as testing grounds for them, but it makes no sense

Uh, what the hell was that message from Microsoft about with that last game? It's out for three days and then they suddenly decide to send it to pasture? Does anyone know what happened there? Seems like a crazy situation.

For some reason, I have no access to the Addax in my game but I had to the other three. I wonder if it is because Extinct Animals was not released in Brazil (but I don't see the connection, considering the other three downloadable animals were fine)

The addax was never included in the expansions, apart from Ultimate Collection. It was always a free download off of the main ZT website first.
