The Elizabeth Taylor fragrances reintroduced women to smelling classy and rich beyond Chanel No 5. So many women felt a new empowerment when they wore them. They were well crafted and not overpriced. Some celebrity scents were really good back in the day whereas now too many just feel like cash grabs.
Gabi, you sold me on the Britany Spears Intense Fantasy. I loved it when you said it makes you instantly happy when you wear it. Hi Gabi! It’s a shame Diamonds and Emeralds isn’t spoken about. I think we’re the only ones who regularly mention it in videos. On me, it’s tuberose, gardenia, and peach. I also like White Diamonds. Scentdom should be a word! I wish more people reviewed vintage, affordable and underrated fragrances rather than just niche.

Since you asked, my one recommendation to you, Gabi, would be Cabochard EdP! A true oldschool chypre that won’t break the bank. It’s really pungent when you first spray it, but the dry-down is divine.
I always loved the Jessica Simpson "Fancy" and "I Fancy You" perfumes. I'm quite impressed with Billie Elish "Elish" (really nice if you like a sweet vanilla)
Hi Gabi, I have a soft spot for SJP Lovely. It's cheap as chips but smells very classy. I've always thought that Miss Parker is such a stylish lady. She has an ancestor from Salem who was accused of witchcraft in the famous trials of the 1690's, which I find fascinating. Thankfully she was a lucky woman and survived. Ironic that SJP starred in Hocus Pocus 300 years later 😊
My favorite celebrity perfume is Ariana Grande Cloud and I layer it with a lotion that has Lilacs and Apricot scents in it and I always get tons of compliments💜
Some of these niche bottles are just silly, considering the amount of money they are charging. I suppose they are going for being instantly recognizable, but to me many of them are kiddish or unbalanced eyesores. Thanks for highlighting more affordable fragrances. I think it takes a good nose to identify a quality fragrance that especially suites you, no matter the price point, as opposed to trying to fall in love with or appreciate niche “because one should.”
Well going against the grain is what I do haha 😄 I also think there is do much snobbery too. Now I have some niche scents but truthfully scent has no labels in my opinion

Yes fellow Sag! ♐ My husband LOVES Kim Kardashian the original fragrance. It's more of a musk scent than tuberose to me. It smells identical to the original Michael Kors for far less money. I just recently purchased Britney Spears Fantasy Intense. I had to return it. I liked it, but it wasn't that strong or projecting to me as I thought it would be. Beautiful bottle though. A great channel, Shana J , always talks about J.Lo's Miami Glow. She loves to review lots of celebrity scents and other inexpensive rarely talked about scents. Another channel who talks about lots of celebrity scents and discontinued fragrances/ cheapies. is KSENJA. 😊
I loved Paris Hilton's Rose Rush and I like but don't love SJP Stash. Blind bought it. You might like Cher's Eau de Couture. It's definitely an old school style. Love your vids Gabi! 💙
I blind bought the Cher too and totally hated it at first because it's so powdery but now I like it okay. It's totally an old school style perfume which I didn't expect from her.

Good morning... (it's morning here in Melbourne Australia.) I also love Elizabeth Taylor Emeralds. I was pleasantly surprised when I sniffed it and have bought a bottle. I like it much better than the original White Diamonds. I haven't been able to find the intense Britney Spears here and it is also become quite expensive when I do find it listed. Hi, I think you are so right about niche perfumes... the pricing is getting crazy. I honestly have not found a celebrity scent I like so much to buy a bottle, but I remember that one from Sarah Jessica Parker, Lovely I think, which I found quite nice. In my head if I see a bottle of perfume with the name of somebody famous my mind/nose switchs off 😂 but I guess it has also something to do with the fact that I have been attracted to niche brands during the last years... trying to find different, original perfumes. But I have started to realise I can have one niche bottle or two but I also want to rediscover the oldies (regardless reformulations)😊
Niche brands are lovely, but I still love older scents. The niche has Bern so hyped up of late, I fo intend to buy niche but I love a balanced style. Despite my life haha 😄 😆
I have most of these scents, and for the same reasons, I've not purchased KK even though I favor tuberose perfumes. I'll think about it again because you said it was similar to Fracas, which is a scent I want.
I smelled the original Oscar de la Renta at my grandmother's and fell in love with perfumes. She also had White Diamond, but I wasnt a huge fan next to the Oscar. Unfortunately, the longevity and projection of the other Oscar ones are very weak. The only other one I like is Vulope which is a gorgeous green violet scent. I still have to try Rosamor, Live in Love and some others... if you have any recs. Oh, Sunflower is a pretty happy sunny one.
Own these and love the scent even though I am not a fan of the actual celebs!! Lol good thing they have nothing to do with the creation of the perfume. 😂
Great video! For years I have enjoyed Diamonds and Emeralds - on my skin it dries down to a gorgeous blend of gardenias, peaches, and sugary, vanilla. Often the fragrance reminds me of the aroma of fresh peach cobbler baking in the oven and a vase of fresh gardenias are nearby. You have piqued my interest in Paris Hilton's Siren. Will definitely need to try it. Thanks again!
In 1994 I got a Christmas gift that made me very happy - Elizabeth Taylor Fragrant Jewel Collection: 4 mini bottles of pure perfumes: White Diamonds, Diamonds and Sapphires, Diamonds And Emeralds, Diamonds and Rubies. I loved them all.
@@thefragrantician Back in 1994 it was sold for $24. You can get it now too, and might even find it for a good price. I prefer these pure perfumes over EDTs.
Loving the nails Gabi! Have you tried Fancy Nights by Jessica Simpson? On me it’s an earthy mossy patchouli with papyrus notes, but the drydown is a bit sweeter with sandalwood and vanilla. When I wear it I feel almost like a swamp witch (in a good way) 😄 I don’t know if it’s still readily available but I think it’s a unique celebrity scent!

Obsession even the new formulation isn’t bad at all for a cheaper I have few bottle of Chloe Narcisse that I enjoy. I usually layer them with a lotion of similar notes and seem to get me through a decent portion of the day. Even if new formulation of Dior Addict is still has life in it. Others to mention, Elizabeth Arden gardenia is lovely And I still enjoy Liz Claiborne realities 😊

Gabbi I haven't tried any of these fragrances, can you believe it? Unfortunately,they aren't available here in Greece. However, I think when I was a kid, my aunt had brought an Elisabeth Taylor's fragrance as a gift for my mom..I believe it was called Diamonds and Pearls..it was in a purple bottle.. I’m so obsessed with Arianas fragrances, REM was my glorious sotd and hers was my first foray into celebrity scents . Jessica Simpson fancy is another good one. I have Fantasy Intense, it’s okay but not my favourite. I’d like to try JLo scents.
I enjoy an occasional wear of Midnight Fantasy or the Circus one... Still is a great fragrance too. 😊 I blindbought and hated both KK fragrances that I got rid of over a year ago. They're not the one you got. I've heard good things about that one. I don't take any chances on that brand anymore.😅
I have Miami glow - fun peachy tropical juice vibe, and Diamonds and Emeralds - after the vintagy opening it turns a lovely rich tuberose, My favorite is Kim K's Pure Honey - it's a beautiful floral honey, and it lasts!

I may buy Elizabeth Taylor fragrance one day definetly . My top 3 are Rihanna , Britney and Paris Hilton fragrances . Never will support no Kardashian, JLO etc. I bet they smell good a friend actually loves JLO fragrances,but I don't personally cancel celebs and people on silence by not supporting for what I don't believe.
