I remember my high school days behind the kit and one thing that I had a hard time with then was “Armatage Shanks” by Green Day. Tré Cool starts that song with a pretty cool fill. I also like what he did at the beginning of “86” on the same record. “I Fought The Law” is a good one too. Although I like the Clash’s rendition of it more than the original. I think a video on drum grooves that start songs would be cool too.

When I think of classic drum fill intros, "Digital Man," "Lakeside Park," or "One Little Victory" by Neil Peart come to mind. Most of his drum intros are less than a 4-count.

This precision and musclememory ist fore a hobbydrummer like me mysticle. Its pitty that one day we all have to give up all those hard achieved skills. Hopefully we can take some if it to a next life. When I see some extreme talented Kids the can play things, others needed Years learn it I become a believer.
