It’s like felt pads to prevent the floor from getting scratched up! It’s also a alternative if you already had tennis balls you don’t plan on using if you quit tennis
Me and my sister have a collection of tennis balls. we live right next to a tennis court. so last week we counted them! THERE WERE 5,890 TENNIS BALLS!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! So we put them to good use!! thanks Kipkay!!
Number 6. Grab a tennis ball and get a tennis racket, you can buy them online or from many sports stores, then invite your friend to your nearest tennis court, to start the game just throw your ball up in the air and hit it with you tennis racket you brought earlier, it will take a few trys but you will get the hang of it in the end and before you know it, you will be playing a game of *TENNIS*
This video inspired me, I have a couple of bannisters with sharp angled edges in high traffic areas, so I took some tennis balls, cut a slit in them, and I put them on the ends so it won't hurt as badly if you bump your side or hip into them by accident.
There is a park in my town where they throw out dozens of those balls a week. and by throw out i mean the employees bat them into one of the fields. free tennis balls for me!
Great tips! One more tip would be to use the tennis balls under furniture where the legs are not exposed and use them to protect the floor(especially wood) and make the furniture easy to move around. Nothing is worse than plastic bottles and 6/12pk holders. Plastic bottles need to be banned. The land and sea are full of them. Glass is best even though it breaks easily. Just take a look at the Great Pacific Garbage Patch which is the size of Texas.
You're delusional. Just because a great majority is suspended below the surface, does not mean it does not exist. I don't like arguing with kids. I suggest you stick with playing video games.
The garage trick is practically ubiquitous, and running a jar lid under hot water works just as well (unless you're really anal about not wasting water), but the rest of these are great. I'll definitely give the light bulb one a try, I've been in that situation many times.
easier solutions: 1. Just don't fling the door open 2. put a piece of tape on the ground that lines up with your tire 3. wear gloves 4. BE A MAN 5. just hide your stuff
+Gherkin Flout Tubanomeister You're right. Let me just roll down the window and lean out the window just to see if you're on the tape or not.. so much easier then see when a ball touches your windshield
+Maryland. Funny.. BUT I think its safe to assume you should use your old or busted tennis balls IF you happen to have any. It's strange you clicked on a video called "5 clever ways to use tennis balls" and you think playing tennis with them is a clever answer..?
The Juan story The was Juan man called Juan He was married with juanita He had juan kid called Juan Juan was in juan car accident Juan died Which juan was it?
Here is another cool trick for a Tennis Ball. I work as a Custodian at a School. And the kids like dragging there shoes on the floor making tons of marks all over the place. Sometimes there are way to many to just use your shoe and rub them off. So what we came up with was, take a tennis ball cut a X slit in it to allow you to put in a broom handle. Now all you do is go up to the shoe marks and the tennis ball rubs them right off, and the fuzzy part of the ball picks up the dirt and stuff from the shoe marks instead of just leaving it on the floor. Pretty cool trick. Also very handy use for a tennis ball. After awhile though the ball does need replacing cause it gets gross from all the shoe marks, but it takes awhile before that happens though.
Nice! One of my parents actually did number 2 *but* to make things easier, put the ball *in front of the where the driver seat is* to make things easier.
cut a hole in a tennis ball to fit the handle of your broom and put it on the end of the broomhandle and now you can use it to remove scuff marks from your floors
also: you can put halfs of them under your PC as feet, eliminating vibrations otherwise being passed on by harddrives or fans. the same also applies for speakers (well not the tiny ones but 6.5" - 8" and above) and subwoofers, improving your audio! and if you dont like the yellow look and you don't have to touch them, taking a spraycan to it (after you cut it) is always an option.
Tennis balls also make great foot massagers. Just stand up and with one bare foot press it onto the tennis ball and slightly roll back and forth. Feels great. Also with the slit trick, cut 50 or so match heads off some matches, shove them all inside the tennis ball, and go give it a throw and watch it light up in the sky!
The Best Hack is > Put Electric Tape on Tennis Ball in a circling manner , cover 100% and use it as a cricket ball. We use it this way a lot. (With Tape works good, But Tape helps to grip and swing better" Tennis is so unpopular here but Tennis Balls are so Necessary.
Got a couple more for you, kipkay: 1. Got a piece of furniture on a hard wood or tile floor that you don't want to cause scratches? You can go buy the foam feet to stick on the bottom, or you can cut up an old tennis ball. Cut it to the shape needed for the foot, stick it to the foot with the fuzzy side down to the floor, and you won't have to worry about scratches. If you're worried about the tennis ball falling off, you can secure it with tape or even glue. 2. Need to replace your sewing pincushion? Save yourself the trouble and just cut a tennis ball in half. Put the open half down, and stick your pins right into it. You also end up with two, so you can store that other half and replace the current one when it gets too old, or just give it to someone else. 3. Going boating or out by the pool, but have something essential you have to keep on you, like your car keys? Get yourself an old lanyard and attach a tennis ball to it; you can use a screw that you tie the lanyard to, or even do a few quick stitches and sew them together. When you're going out by the water, clip your essential item to the lanyard. If it falls in, the tennis ball will float (at least until the hole lets the water in), allowing you enough time to grab it. Plus, the bright greenish yellow color makes it stand out and easy to find. Just make sure to test the equivalent weight before hand with something that won't be damaged by the water. If one tennis ball isn't enough, just add more until it stays floating. 4. Got a rug on a tile floor that keeps sliding around on you? Cut up some pieces of tennis ball like the furniture feet. This time, however, set them with the rubber side to the floor, and attach it to the rug with a quick stitch. Put one in each corner, and possibly a few other places if your rug is large. Now the rubber will grip the floor, preventing the rug from slipping. 5. Don't forget about the tube you get when you buy tennis balls. They make great containers for long objects like bolts and screws. You can also store paper in them if needed to provide some protection against the elements. Just make sure the paper is folded so it fits the height of the container, roll it up, and put the lid on. You can store important schematics and instructions out in your workshop or garage where you need them, without having to worry about them getting dusty or wet.
