You’re very welcome good sir! Thanks so much for the comment! I never imagined SRP would jump on one of my videos and thank me for the content... madness 😂
I am engaging with one of my favorite RU-vidrs with a comment. Maybe they will notice, maybe they won’t. Either way It’s still a good feeling to know it’s helping my favorite youtubers by commenting on their videos
You know I've been streaming at least weekly for nearly a year now, and it took 6 months to get a regular crowd, and they are such good guys. Suppose my point is it takes ages to get the viewers in, I'm not quick, in fact that's one of my things, I'm consistently slow. It's amazing just how much work you have to put in too. Even just doing a good title and thumbnail takes a good amount of time, I just try to do something better, just one little bit of a stream, every time I do it. It soon builds into better content.
i'm trying to wrap my brain around streaming my "racing" but I haven't quite gotten there as yet This video has helped alot Like you I have to balance a job and children but not sure how to fit making content into the mix
Good content and good advice! I don’t stream, I make videos for now as I don’t have equipment at would let me stream with good quality but everything you said is relevant to what I do. Thanks!
Hope it helps. The one about pretending loads of people are watching really is a big one. And you obviously need to try to share your stream through social media, etc.
Being a VR racer I haven't streamed for some time. Did it badly a while back and definitely agree with some of your points here! I may give it another go as I'm finding ways to make ACC a little less demanding. Frame drop in VR is no joke ;)
yeah VR streaming is something I don't know if i'll ever crack. I love driving in VR but streaming and being watched in VR sucks for everybody. VR is very isolating.
@@LaurenceDusoswa I've seen Jimmer doing more VR content of late and it's hard to watch. For my reviews I can move the cameras around so it's less intrusive but a tough nut to crack indeed
Fantastic advice, i'm just starting out with the whole youtube streaming video stuff. I've watched a few of your videos especially reviews and throughly enjoyed them.
@@LaurenceDusoswa you reminded me of what I need to hear. I gained a good bit of followers from ATS but my passion is racing. I feel guilty for racing sometimes. But I gotta do what I love and the rest will come.
I upload a video and a couple of days later you upload one about poor quality videos! Coincidence Laurence?? Lol Keep up the good work chap another excellent piece of content. :-)
Thanks a million :) cheers for commenting :) you should start! The best thing about starting is that nobody is watching and you can make as many mistakes as you like :p
Thanks for the super informative video... I have been creating Iracing POV content for a few months now for RU-vid and am trying to find a way to make it more interesting! Your video gave me some ideas on how to improve my content and hopefully improve viewership. :)
awesome! I dropped you a sub. Have you considered streaming? Your setup is well suited to a live stream. If you're looking to get high numbers for minimal effort, try streaming on tik tok. You would do really well.
@@LaurenceDusoswa Thanks! I actually am planning to stream and have been looking at the community channels and specifically yours has been super helpful. The problem that I am trying to sort out is the camera angle.. I like having all three: the POV headcam, the Driver cam, and then some sort of iracing TV replay. I havent quite sorted the tech out. I currently run 2 GOpros and have a second computer I can use to stream, but I am seeing one GOpro is a little older and cant easily act as a webcam, the other one is newer but there is a latency problem. so need better ideas on the tech side to have a small enough cam that I can have on my head, a small cam on the front cage, then the Iracing TV broadcast. I think in a bind I can just omit the IRACING feed for the Live streaming. And thanks for the Sub! its much appreciated!
#1-99 spamming the #$%@ out of their stuff in classified forums, owners groups, and other groups that do not give a @#$% about your stream. (not you, but lots of streamers)
