There are countless videos, tutorials, blogs over the web, my recommendations might lose out on some very good resources that you might find on your google search. However, in order to delve and get started into this gigantic and diverse field, I recommend Khan Academy (www.khanacademy.org/) to be a good starting point. It offers basic high school level and advanced level biology courses. Once you have an idea on the area within biology you would like to focus on, you could take up a course on Coursera or Udemy to thorough your understanding. Hope this helps! :)

To be honest, I haven't met any bioinformatician that has been a dentist previously. However, I will recommend you to reach out to the program coordinators of specific universities you are considering and confirm with them about your eligibility to apply for a masters in bioinformatics.

These two are very different options. Again, there are various sub-fields in bioinformatics. Primarily, which area interests you? Do you like working in computing environments? Do you have prior basic understanding of programming languages? If not, would you be open to learning them? You could take introductory bioinformatics courses to get yourself an idea of what this field entails, perhaps that can help you decide which route to take.

Hey i am a bio ip student..and informatics practices in class 11 and 12 was not that tough...you will be able to manage it..computer programming languages like MySQL,python etc is kinda easy...so i think it will not be a big problem.

@@anaghajyothi765 @Anagha Jyothi instead of maths i took informatics practices(ip) ..it is actually a part of computer science...like here you will study programming languages like MySQL,python pandas etc which are necessary in bioinformatics.....so i am planning to pursue bsc bioinformatics..btech bioinformatics is having more maths.

@@anaghajyothi765 informatics practices is actually an easy subject...you will be able to manage it..it will be better if you look at the basics of MySQL and python pandas on the internet...you will get more idea..if you are in 12th and don't have time to look at it bcoz of the board exams don't worry ...you will definitely be able to study the basics even without having much knowledge,what i have studied till now is kinda easy...hope bsc bioinformatics is not extremely tough

@@user-dn2kg8nl8x thankyouu so muchh for this information dont even know such a subject even existed🙏 few more question plss, what should i do after 12 if i want to opt for this i mean weather i want to attend any entrance exam or the admission and all is based on our +2 mark... so as i have no IT related subject to study will the look my biology mark for admission ?? (Kindly share some info about this, i have a bunch of doubts about this course but nobody was able to clear my doubt sadly so if u can share it i will be so thankful🙏......) Or they look the overall +2 mark ? actually i dont have a good base in IT so will i get admission for this course?? Is there any good collages for bioinformatics in kerala?

Same here..btech will be more tough for us...i guess bsc is better...i am planning to pursue bsc bioinformatics as i am a bio ip student.
