Great tips there, your surfing is looking on point, however I disagree with fixating on these classifications of ‘lower intermediate’ and ‘upper intermediate’. Ranking surfers in categories is very nuanced. I know guys who’ve been surfing most of their lives, they never go 12 o’clock or blow the tail through the lip, but they look so damn good and smooth on a wave.
Hi T H, I totally agree with you. None of that stuff matters, if you are having fun in the ocean, perfect. Your actual ability matters to no one but you. I have only used those terms in the video as a discussion point, certainly not to put anyone down.
