Thank you! I use a 2mm steel wire for the crucial components. A thinner one for parts that woudn't carry a lot of weight.

@@craftynatsky What are u sealing it with if it goes outside. Won't the air dry clay getmushy if it gets wet?

@teri wildes That's right. It's not waterproof. It can only be kept indoors or away from rain/water. I finish each work with acrylic varnish.

Hi, I used 18 gauge steel galvanized wire.

Thank you. That means a lot to me. I use "Das" air Dry clay and another brand called "Home Deco" moldelling clay which is cheaper than Das. I use different brands of acrylic paint, just whatever I kind find at the store. I think all brands of air dry clay or moldelling clay will work just fine.
