I mix the turmeric with raw honey and plain Greek yogurt. Fantastic results. Faded old pimple scars and reduced dark areas around my mouth as well as lightened my dark circles around my eyes. Great video.thanks for sharing

If you use raw turmeric and grind it no yellow. Powdered, you get some yellow with using yogurt and honey that lessens it. Remove it with a washcloth that helps also. Yes it works

luna lovegood 1 Tablespoon honey. 1-2 Tablespoons plain yogurt(I used Greek). approximately 1/2 teaspoon turmeric. Mix it well. Apply to freshly washed face. Watch an episode of something on Netflix then wipe off with a wet washcloth followed by cool water rinse. 3-4 times a week. After 2 weeks my “raccoon”eyes looked MUCH better.

@RO M i never told her to wash her face with soap in the first place and she should apply the mask on clean face and then she can cleanse if the stain is not going away and micellar water can also be used as a mild cleanser .

My family is Indian, so my grandmother has been slathering me in turmeric since I was little and it's literally a miracle worker! She does honey + turmeric + rosewater and it's amazing for hyper-pigmentation and acne!

Let me tell you guys...This stuff really works!!! I have bad dark acne scars and hyperpigmentation, it takes so long for the scars to go away and no matter what i try, my hyperpigmentation and acne scars don’t go away. I’ve been using this for 4 days and i love it, my scars and hyperpigmentation are almost gone. Here is what i use: 1 tsp of turmeric 1 tsp of plain Greek yogurt 1/2 a tsp of raw Manuka honey A few drops of lemon I get my aloe Vera plant and scrape the gel into the turmeric mixture Try it, i promise you, it will help!!! I love it but remember we are all beautiful flaws and all! Love yourself and do this for YOU 🥰 I love y’all 💕

Ah dear it definitely worked for you. I am an Indian and we use turmeric daily- in every curry we make, we add it milk and drink, put it on face. Turmeric is the best antiseptic. If u ever get a cut n u r bleeding just apply some turmeric on it and it will heal superfast. I wear turmeric mask once a week and it helped me clear my acne marks too.

@@cuteONE22 Hi! Yes you can buy whole one and grind it and make it into powder or just buy powder! Either will do! I have fair to medium skin and it can stain skin a bit. But stain doesnt last long. It goes away as soon as u exfoliate or just wait for an hour or so. It goes away quickly!

To avoid staining use curd or milk instead of water. This has to be done regularly for 2 to 3 months. All better if you can make it a daily and consistent habit to use this mask for 10 to 15 minutes before your daily bath. It will make your skin soft, supple and pigment free and keep it that way.

I also found that if your face ends up being stained, use coconut oil it actually helps almost immediately! (For me, it did!) I just rubbed it on my skin, rinsed and repeated until it was gone. Also lemon, I tried that too and it worked out well, but I have dry skin so I don’t like doing that as much :)

@@marihoodtv1073 assuming you're talking about hyperpigmentation, use the mask in the video! it is actually really good for evening your skin tone, just be sure to use sunscreen. also, you can add yogurt, honey, and apple cider vinegar (very small amount) to have a mask with multiple benefits!

What a fantastic result! I just about got rid of my hyperpigmentation by doing facials, microdermabrasion, using natural/organic products. Just a thought, but the coconut oil may be contributing to your irritation. I know many people, myself included, who cannot use coconut oil when not mixed with other oils/butters and definitely not on my face. I can use on my hair as pre-poo but I must wash it out and I cannot use it too often. I am just putting that out there as a possibility. An alternative oil would be avocado oil (or jojoba, even though more expensive) Making a tea from the turmeric may help also. Turmeric is a wonderful anti-inflammatory and may help calm the eczema. Many recipes online, most add ginger, cinnamon, and black pepper

IF YOU ARE OF A LIGHTER SKIN COLOR BECAREFUL WITH THIS!!! My skin turned orange and it was very hard to get off, I used my neutrogena face bar a lot to get all of the orange off. Took quite some time

All you need is coconut or almond oil. Massage few drops of the oil, keep for 5 minutes. Wash. All your orange/yellow stains will go away. Plus the oils will give your face the benefits of a moisturizer.

Sherelle, 1st - you're beautiful! 2nd - I just watched a video about making a mask to remove facial hair. In place of water, she added raw milk because of the vitamins and healing properties it has, as long as it's not boiled. Maybe that would make your mask even better in the healing department. Use cheakpea flour,bee honey,,turmeric lil bit rose water,and wait till it dry..and after rinse off..apply toner. you can use this 4 times a week...it's shade dark sports scars and pigmentation

I could sense the genuine in your voice. Thank you for this video! I was doing this mask already but I was not as consistent. I'll be attempt to do it several times a week. My hyperpigmentation came out of nowhere back in 2015 when I had started college. Ive turned to more natural resources instead of buying already made products. I can say that my skin isn't completely there but Ive seen improvement just by making that change.

Hello, you’re beautiful. Try wearing gloves and a toner if your choice. The gloves protect your nails and the toner takes away the yellow tint. I also use this mask but add Greek plain yoghurt, honey, aloe Vera , and sometimes ACV.

I have Acanthosis nigricans due to pcos and i use amlactin on my face with rose hip oil and it has helped so much with hyper pigmentation. I use a lemon juice tumeric rice water mask twice a week and it changed my life.

I found a tumeric mask from another girl, but with yogurt & honey. After one use my brother noticed how brighter i looked, and the hyper pigmentation around my mouth improved, just barely, but enough to notice. After using for about a week i feel like its working! I hope its not placebo, and my mind playing tricks but my skin does feel soft, and hyperpigmentation around my mouth has improved but definitely not gone. i had some dark acne spots on my forehead and after two uses they were almost gone! To help with yellow stain after i use Skin Foods Black sugar honey mask. And wash it off after. It's definitely such a task to apply and wash off since its so messy, but the results are worth it. thank you for making this video! Hi love, try and avoid eating all dairy products and use plant-based alternatives. You can also try the juice of a sliced onion on your skin for eczema, leave on for 10 minutes then rinse off. All the best, Nehanda x

O.K., all I saw was Jamaican ackee and I was like "subscribe" dwl. I've used turmeric to try and clear up my dark underarms. It did work to a level BUT it was slow and it didn't clear up everything, so I am going to do another round. At first I used regular turmeric but then I found out about the one that doesn't stain and I started using that one instead. The fact that you used water and it still worked is great. I always see youtubers mixing ACV with it. Now I know I can use aloe vera juice or even distilled rosewater. Great video.

I’m glad that the natural remedy ( turmeric) worked for you. However, if the eczema medication is causing the hyperpigmentation problem you may need to investigate that and see what are you eating and / or what is in the environment causing the eczema flair ups in the first place. That’s the root of your problem. If you don’t get to the root of your problem you will be doing this forever. Most of the things we suffer from can be attributed to diet. Also , for daily maintenance Obagi makes good facial products. Check them out. Your a beautiful person. Blessings

Hey thank you so much, I think I wasn’t that clear on the video. I have Asthma and Eczema, I was in hospital because I had an Asthma attack, the medication for that made my Eczema worse 😪. I was in ITU so I guess they were using harsh medication to keep me breathing. I will take a deeper look into my died, I try not to have dairy

Hey there. Loved your video. As an Indian, I have grown up using turmeric for different uses : for cooking, for medicinal purposes and for beauty purposes. I would just like to point out that when you are making the turmeric paste , it would be more beneficial if you add the turmeric with yogurt to make the paste instead of just water. ( You could add a little bit of rose water too as it is a great toner). Another thing is when the face mask dries up instead of removing it directly with water, try to remove it first with just your fingers ( rub it off with your fingers) as that way it will ensure that your dry n dead skin comes off along with the fine facial hairs.

shkoun Ana if you are using the normal turmeric it will stain your skin esp if you are fair. Just use a little amount or don’t leave it on too long. If the there is any Indian spice shop near you try getting the other type of turmeric they call Kasturi Manjal. It also have the same beauty benefit with the yellow turmeric but this type don’t stain.

Tumeric face masks really do work. But a 5-day treatment really only works for people with recent hyperpigmentation. So don't get discouraged if you don't see immediate results. The longer you've had the discoloration the deeper in the epidermis it is. And therefore the longer it will take. I've had heavy dark patches for 10 years!! After two weeks it is slowly fading, But I started with a realistic goal of 2 months. My skin looks great so far.
