I did the Iztaccíhuatl hike myself last February,. Glad to see Nancy is still alive! And I also made it to the glacier and then returned because of the strong and cold wind and altitude. Still, one of my most beautiful hikes so far. Being on this vulcano is magical!
@@yellowcard8100 Thanks for your reply - looks like my original comment was deleted by someone, how weird! But I do remember that I was worried about that pup so thanks for the info :)
It all depends what you like and how much your “taste” costs. I have been to vegas for 4 nights with $1,500 and i have done the same 4 nights with 3 times that.
@MrExplorer The on going rotten press is all sponsored by the U.S. government. They absolutely love it. Thanks for visiting us here in good old Mexico City (CDMX)
This reminds me of my time in Thailand. I wanted to experience all sides, the first month I spent like $500 for the month and the second I spent like $2500 in total lol
Great Video. Beautiful shots of Beautiful áreas! Thank you. Please could you tell us which AirB&B you stayed at? Is it the apartment of Alejandra en Condesa?
If it was me, I would've cried after saying goodbye to Nancy. She was truly a God's creature waiting for you up there. It was so sweet seeing here drinking water and sharing some moments with you. God bless you Kraig!
Beautiful visit to Mexico City. I have to wonder how that precious dog ended up out in the middle of nowhere. Thank you for showing it a couple days of love, warmth and water. Poor sweet pup.
One of the great things about living in Arizona is the ability to drive to Mexico and fly from the airport in Mexicali. Two round trip flights typically cost $300 total. I also fly out of Tijuana every year to Guadalajara and roundtrip tickets cost about $120.
I just heard your podcast about how you are not getting good feedback about this video, but personally I LOVED it. It is what first brought me to your channel. I sampled other videos of yours which are good - but I want more of this. I like the simplicity and narration. Lot's of good travel tips. I need to go to Mexico City now. please give us more of this style, with you awesome wife too.
@@cylon5741 Not watched the podcast but taking a guess, gonna assume that it was cause he mostly stayed in the rich/tourist areas. Didn't really go out and explore more of the city and it's culture.
Tremendous Capital City!. History, culture, traditions, art and gastronomy. Mexico City is just fascinating, too much to explore and discover. Mexico has the largest number of world heritage sites in the Americas recognized by UNESCO. Nice vid!
Really cool video man, CDMX has a lot to offer, truly one of the great world capitals. So much great history and culture, and you hit it right on the head, the city is full of green, trees, and tons of parks!
What an amazing trip. We see and hear more and more of Mexico being a safe place with lots of American and Canadian people visiting. Bucket list - maybe
I watched your videos back in 2017-2019 and it's so fascination to see how much changed and at the same time how much stays the same. Happy to find you again!
I wish you had someone to guide you in trying the true local "public" food. Mexico city is world famous for its nice and expensive restaurants, but I'd say the local food beats it nonetheless. I'm glad you enjoyed the climb! Iztaccihuatl is actually taller than any mountain in the contiguous 48 states, so don't be ashamed that you didn't summit. And it seems you got very close anyway.
Thanks for sharing such an excellent video of your trip to Mexico with us. Given all the rather rotten press the country is getting, it is refreshing to see good stuff and nice places.
Been to many of those places in my first trip to Mexico City a year ago. I’m planning to return later this year to check out some of the museums and cultural heritage sites in and around Mexico City I didn’t have time to visit. And really nice video!
I have to say that I really like these more relaxed travel vlogs, that focus more on sharing nice experiences rather than stunning cinematography. To be fair we follow you because of your personality, and it's great to see it through the videos! Thanks Kraig :)
I live in southern Mexico now. Great coverage and pictures. I've not yet visited Mexico City and the volcanoes, but definitely will use a few tips from this video.
Mexico City is amazing! This video brings back good memories! I loved when we just get lost walking aimless in Condesa or Roma trying random street foods and talk to the friendly people. The vibe just takes you away... Thank you for the video!
Awesome video. Perfect blend of views, life and commentary. Been following you for a while, and this is one of my faves. From huge crowds to absolute solitude.
I am from CDMX, and you really captured the vibe of the neighborhoods. I love how they have so many trees in all the streets, it's sunny, colorful, and vibrant. Well done! 😃🌮💞
I love the views of the volcanoes and you got such nice shots courage that you had to climb the Izztacihuatl. I used to go to those volcanoes when I was a kid with my dad and I loved it all the time. You really got the whole Mexico City experience because not too many tourist with go those volcanoes. 👍🏼🙏🏽
So glad we got to meet up with you while we were in Mexico City:) Wish we could have joined you on Izta but we probably would have had to bail at the mountain hut lol that elevation is no joke!
I'm so mad I missed this! You were walking on the same block where I live, multiple times! I hope you enjoyed your experience in this beautiful city and come back soon. Big hug from Mexico.
Mexico City is the most underating city, I have friends from England, USA, Spain and Russia, and they couldn't believe it how much is to do, and green the city is, we are the second city with more museums in the world, after London.
Thanks for such a good video. Especially part 2 was amazing with the drone shots. I have been in CDMX twice and saw some of the places you mentioned. But there were definetely some spots you made me want to see on another trip. Congrats. One of the best travel vlogs about CDMX I have seen so far. Keep going.
Great video, thanks for sharing your experience! Reminds of our trip to Mexico last year - we spent 4 month in different parts of Mexico but especially loved Mexico City, so your video brought back a lot of memories🥰
Wow! Simply amazing vacation at an amazing city. The places you went to are so cool and with like a bohemian style, you definitely had one of the best experiences i have ever witnessed. Thank for sharing. I can see my self doing the same things when i go there.
Excellent video on CDMX! It truly is tipping me on the edge of wanting to make it my next trip! Your solo trip to the volcano was so interesting and unexpected. Thanks for sharing.
Just listened to the podcast and I agree, this video was super informative and well done. So much editing and engaging from start to finish. Your commentary was spot on dude! And yeah, thumbnail is dope, please do more vids like this 🙌. Oh, and before you head back to NY, swing by LV so we can get a climbing sesh in, hehe.
this was a nice transition video as you start to explore different formats, city exploration mostly but still a bit of hiking. Nice bridge to more varied content.
The dog was not a stray dog, he was your “Alebrije” he was just there to make you company. If you know Alebrijes are like your Guarding angels in the Mexican culture.
This video has a different vibe than your hiking videos, but I like the difference and appreciate that you added the cost of everything. For those of us who travel rarely, I feel that videos like this make it the anticipation more exciting and reveals all the small costs, which normally cause a lot of hesitation.
I love Mexico City. And those volcanoes are amazing too.Puebla is a beautiful colonial city underneath 2 massive volcanoes, both thousands of feet higher than even your Colorados 14ners. The hipsters have taken over Mexico City, but it was hip and bohemian long before the Dank IPA bro /Instagram crowd"discovered"it.And will be after they flock somewhere else. I grew up in the New Orleans area and grew up traveling since my parents worked for an airline. As an adult I have continued to travel. I have been all over the United States,Mexico,Canada,Ecuador, the Caribbean,Europe, and as part of the United States,I have been to Alaska (but not Hawaii yet)and Ireland is one of my favorites and I have been there and the UK the most outside the United States. But second to that is Mexico, and I will be back frequently. Colonial Mexico is amazing, the beaches are great. The deserts and jungles are amazing. The food, the culture,music,people,architecture,etc...are intoxicating and addictive. I am glad you all got to experience just a tiny bit of what the country had to offer!
I was about question your not very common Mexican name! ..... But then I remember that Mexicans Born whatever country they want! And I forget about it.... You right on paisa! Welcome to Mexico!
