Staying outside in temperatures colder than your freezer can be challenging. We started the trip on Friday the 20th of January. The mission was to ski from Finse to Ustaoset, a trip that's 48 km. The first day turned out to be the coldest day this year, with temperatures down to -25℃. These cold temperatures lasted for two days before the clouds came rolling in.
Hardangervidda is known for harsh and unpredictable weather, and is therefore a destination for those training for winter and polar expeditions.
