4 out 5. i never really was blown away by spice bomb, but i have the other 4 . Just a side note carolina herreras stallion leather is a step above ombre leather it is absolutely stunning
Aramis brut old spice kouros paco rabanne green bottle. Classic 5. Ooh and throw in denim. As a kid in the 80s this is what I remember dad's having. Maybe blue stratos. Posh fragrances just weren't worn by the masses. Kouros and paco would have been posh then tho.
I'll see your top 5 designers to keep for all time and I'll raise you 5 cheapies I'll always keep hold of! The differentiation between designer and cheapy is obviously the going rate and I'm going off my collection as it currently stands... Designer 1. Armani ADG Profondo - I love this stuff. I have Profumo and the EDT but Profondo... hell yes! 2. Dior Fahrenheit - My first ever designer scent and one I will love until I stop breathing! I will always own a bottle! 3. Dior Sauvage Elixir - this stuff just smells amazing and it's a bloody good head turner! 4. Versace Eros Parfum - this stuff just rocks. Simple as. 5. Viktor & Rolf Spicebomb Extreme - do I need to tell you why? :P Cheapies 1. Armaf CDNIM EDP - The amount of attention I get off this one for the price tag is... holy bollocks! Smells amazing! 2. Burberry Touch - Started wearing this 22 years ago and will always own a bottle. Again, a compliment magnet. Beautiful stuff. 3. Issey Miyake - Nuit D'Issey - I blind bought this on sale early on in the frag journey and I was actually scared that I couldn't pull it off. Ladies love it on me! 4. Lattafa Fakhar - The good old YSL Y clone. This stuff performs amazingly and I get plenty of attention from it! 5. Missoni Pour homme - I actually prefer this over BDC, won't lie. The price is a big part of it but it performs better on my skin than BDC does. £150 for BDC, 2 hours or £35 for Missoni and get 8 hours.... and I get the same compliments.... no brainer.
Prada L'Homme Intense is the best designer iris fragrance out there. I like the regular Prada L'Homme too. I don't get much longevity out of any Dior Homme flankers, while Prada justs lasts on me and is more versatile.
@@amuginho7535 Both Prada and Dior are pretty safe imo. Might nust be me. Dior Homme is known as more of a date night fragrance and I have a ton of others I prefer over it. Whereas, I don't have many "office" kind of scents that I'd prefer to Prada L'Homme.
Had to pause the vid at the beginning and take a guess....4 out of 5. 😄 Not bad! Knew a blue fragrance would be on there, just didn't know which one you'd pick. The other 4 are absolutely FM standards. ✅ And for good reason. DHI would likely be on my list too.
Was waiting for that Dior Homme Intense! I knew it was going to be on this list somewhere, even if it were an honorable mention! I had on Dior Homme Parfum this week…just an amazing scent!
Yeah, I own them all (well, I own Profumo). Partly thanks to you, Chris. Out of these, I've probably smelt only BdC in the wild - plus, a friend owns DHI - and honestly, I quite like it that way. 🤣
I own few designer fragrances but I own these five. Therefore, I agree they are among the best. However, I would have made it a top ten and added Terre D’Hermes, TF Black Orchid, Cartier Declaration Parfum, Guerlain Heritage, and Dior Fahrenheit EDT.
Maybe but Tobacco Vanille is priced like a niche fragrance and isn't wildly better. If I want niche tobacco I have the following.Amouage Boundless,Penheligon's Roaring Radcliffe,Mancera Red Tobacco,1821 Sweet Tobacco Spirits,Captain Fawcett Baccy&Booze
It's fascinating to me how with these things there is always overlap and yet always disagreement. I'd never say anyone is wrong because personal taste is exactly that, but I will share where I agree and disagree with this list. Spicebomb Extreme - Absolutely agree. This is perfection. Acqua di Gio really any of them - Disagree. I've just never gotten the appeal, but I've come to accept that it's just me. The only one I ever own at this point is Acqua di Gio Absolu. And while it's my favorite in the line, I still think it's just fine and yet everyone seems to compliment me when I wear it, so what do I know? What I'd put on the list instead: Prada Luna Rossa Carbon. Could be slotted in for the same situations, but so much better to me. Bleu de Chanel any of them - Disagree. Like the fragrance above, I've never been in love with this and I know that's a me problem. What I'd put instead: Part of me wants to just scream Dolce and Gabbana Light Blue Forever because that's grapefruit perfected in my opinion, but I think the real answer needs to be Dior Eau Sauvage any of them. Eau Sauvage and the Parfum are fairly different, and there's a whole host of flankers, but I could wear just about any of them all year round and they're all timeless. Tom Ford Ombre Leather - Agree. I personally prefer the Parfum, but honestly they're both fantastic. I couldn't bring myself to take it off the list. Dior Homme Intense - Again, agree. Really hard to disagree, honestly. It's a truly amazing fragrance.
Solid video Chris as you guessed it, as a fellow frag head, that’s 5 ticks. Completed it mate 😁. Jokes aside solid fragrances list, I love wearing DHI in the evenings just after work. Makes me feel so confident. My fiancé doesn’t care likes really, she like Dior homme cologne on me, she’s happy 😉☺️
Definitely will be rebuying BDC EDP with all the Niche and designer I own I still crave it.Had a 150ml and burned through it will rebuy deeper into summer like July/Aug.Fantastic scent that's not generic or boring especially in high heat. Not many men wear it as much as people think.9/10 most are wearing sauvage.
BDC was new and complex at the time and it's timeless. They do need to come out with an Elixir I think they should amp up the ambery notes with Myrrh Benzoin and Cashmere Wood so it lasts longer. Also maybe add a fruity heart of Mango and Juniper to keep the freshness along with the original profile.
I used Chanel no.5 for long time, happy to see it’s on your list 😊 apart from it, I used higher energy by Dior, would have made to the list I guess. I’m really wondering about your view on Mashumaro by unique’e luxury though, it’s classy, effective and very powerful scent.
Spicebomb extreme has gotten me more compliments than any of the 100 other fragrance I own. My fiancé asks me to wear it to bed constantly year round. I always recommend it to anyone looking for a cold weather fragrance.
I'm clearly every guy. Great choice from each house, I'd probably recommend Sauvage Elixir from Dior and personally prefer Allure Homme Sport Eau Extreme from Chanel.
I've seen the 2 compared before but which would you personally prefer and to be a better compliment getter and have had better luck with the ladies, blue de Chanel vs Chanel homme sport eau de extreme? Thanks love the channel great content .
Although DHI is a masterpiece, I think DHP is even better...and I wouldnt have both if I could only have five designer fragrances...so DHP gets the spot.
If you’re just getting started, please please please sample Dior Homme intense & Ombré leather first These are definitely NOT mass appealing or for beginners
I agree on all of these expect BDC. Too mainstream and expensive. I’d rather get dylan blue for the fraction of a price with better performance and similar vibe. Also , DHI is a masterpiece ❤
I feel the same. BDC lasts a couple of hours on me and, for the price, nah. I'll not buy another bottle. In my post above, I chose Missoni Parfum Pour Homme as my cheapie to replace BDC but I have Dylan Blue as well, and, like you, I'd choose Dylan Blue over BDC any day of the week mate. My wife bought me a bottle couple years ago and I much prefer it over BDC.
Please like this comment if you agree. But any chance of making two videos of the best fragrances from the ‘80’s and ‘90’s? Im talking about scents like Boucheron and Aramis. This was another great video.
Absolute clown comment. This is a fragrance channel, there is only so much content that can be done thats considered original. If the title read "5 best fragrances to use as a flamethrower" would that be more up your alley?
Weird... Imagine if car guys would always praise the Porsche 911 GT3, or tech RU-vidrs praising iPhones and Galaxy S line, MacBooks and ThinkPads, or wrist watch enthusiasts praising Rolex, Omega, Tissot... As if they're the best in the world. Oh wait, they do. And they do it for a reason; they're either the best bang for buck, or they're the best, period. And nothing will change that, especially not constant complaining from snobs who think that the fragrance is rubbish because it's either not super expensive, or if it's not super unique. God forbid you get a compliment or two wearing it
Chris can you name me a top 5 ceo perfume? I'm looking for one, unfortunately I don't know what it's called. I've just had the scent stored in my head the whole time
