@@pridefulobserver3807 Geralt: If only you knew the power of that potion! Vesemir never told you what happened to your father. Protagonist: He told me enough. He told me you killed him. Geralt: No. I AM your father.
"Come out and fight, bitch." That line, with that delivery is probably my favorite in the game, lol. It's just so unexpected to hear Geralt talk like that.
- Jutta an Dimun ("Iron Maiden") - Madame Sasha ("High Stakes") - Syanna - 9 sex workers (Crippled Kate's, The Passiflora, The Belles of Beauclair) Not just Shani who could get pregnant by Gerry
@@ikilledamnesiac this is in response to a potential infertility reversing potion that they spend quite a while discussing in the video. If the potion does work, then Geralt becomes fertile.
Ahh, there you are. This video having 450,000 views, him giving you a shout-out like that, supporting and encouraging people to subscribe to you, and you've only got 10 subscribers. I've gotten a few times that number just by commenting on shit over the years. Kinda sad.
@Chris Madison there's a chance Geralt might be able to due to an experimental concoction in the Witcher 2. And Yennifer has been experimenting with a fertilization potion
@@edi9892 oh it's difficult to say, I suppose I'll have to pick TW3 because is has a higher quantity of awesome music, but TW2 has some tracks which are just as good, like the one I used while talking about it :)
So wait, Geralt MIGHT be able to have children now and Yen has been said to have tried to cure her infertility. If she were to succeed then Geralt and her might be able to have children in the future. This is plausible in theory, especially if you choose to retire to Corvo Bianco with Yen, where she'll have all the free time, a great laboratory and proper equipment that she can use for those experiments. Not that Geralt and Yen need to have their own children necessarily since they have Ciri, but it's a possibility. It would be the rarest creature in the entire world, a child of a Witcher AND a Sorceress.
10:12 If I remember correctly, You can find this two greedy at the east gate of Oxenfurt and if you decline to pay this two the commander of Redenian will come to stop this two greedy and let you go on your way.
8:09 So what if Jutta becomes pregnant if you sleep with her? That would actually make her promise to Freya true... she said only a man who beat her could lie with her and give her children. They both discard it as impossible and Freya being cruel, but what if Freya is not cruel and Geralt was already able to conceive children at that point.
If you thought we’ve been getting more hidden/unknown content and features about Witcher 3 for years, just imagine how many years we’ll be getting content out of CyberPunk 2077
Likely not as much, since the devs have said they've cut content and reduced the story length because, apparently, too many fans complained TW3 was "too long". (Incredible)
Damn, seeing comments like this makes me sad to remember how hopeful I was for cyberpunk. Imagine if it had been as deep as w3, would have been so awesome
I wonder if Geralt taking the potion in Witcher 2/finding the notes in Witcher 3 and Yennefer's hidden motive about possibly having a child are tied together in anyway? 🤔
I actually ran into the second half of the bullied woman last night. She helped me. I was actually wondering if you’d made a vid about things you may have missed in Oxenfurt. And then I stumbled upon this vid in my feed today. Lol. And I used one of your vids to do a quest if never seen before last night as well. The vampire under Novigrad. I’ve played the main story four times and am on my second play through of the expansions. Love the vids man. Keep up the good work.
You missed the one where Triss sends a messenger to Geralt after Radovid dismisses him, and asks something like"Are you the witcher geralt?" and you have a choice to say "No, just a merchant" or "Yes". Then, if you said yes, you get a letter of Triss asking you to meet her to start a quest. Great video!
Great video again! I would like to add a bit. You can find the note from the scientists on the statue. For the Spooked Mare quest, you can also bring a wild horse to the farmer. He will still give the same response, but it may mess up the quest, because it will not always close after bringing the wild horse.
One other side note about the "missing mare" quest: when I played Witcher 3 I had zero frame of reference from any previous games (I had to totally guess when the guy interviewed me in the castle) and as a result had no idea if I was supposed to be against the elves or not. So I just walked into their camp, spoke to their leader and told him the dude needed his horse back. The elf leader beefed a little but asked if I was prepared to kill his remnant squad over a horse and after some dialogue I took the horse and let his troop go unharmed. I think I paid him or something. Guy got his horse, elves split and no pointed ears were damaged in the effort. Pretty sure it made further interactions with elves more friendly from that point too, but have no idea.
Scrawny woman one-shots loads of well armoured mercenaries, whilst it takes Geralt numerous hits with a legendary sword. Geralt is by far the weakest character in the entire game!
Yeah. Geralt is so weak. The only reason the bandits ever die because they wasted their breath on screaning: "I'Ll BaSh Ye FoCkiNg eAd In I SweR On mE MuM!!!"
About greedy and greedier, they encountered me the 2nd time at eastern entrance for Oxenfort, when I responded for a fight a higher ranking officer scolded them for extorting money and allowed Geralt to pass, the higher ranking officer was encountered previously in the game and I think he was a spy or something like that.
@@bolerobolero5668 Moorhan Vooris. Vooris mentioned once that an empress needs an emperor, implying him. In the books, he was the one who ultimately succeeded Emyr as emperor of Nilfgaard.
@@sflaningam7680 What? But doesn't the books finish with Emhyr still as the Emperor? Cus the games are after the books, so it only makes sense that if he's still the emperor in the games, then he didn't had any successors.
I just finished the main game yesterday and onwards to hearts of stone when i get back from work. I love you still posting videos because as you post them i go check up at the same time ingame lol. It is like being back in 2015 and watching fresh witcher videos.
One thing I think you may have mentioned with the horse quest is that if you decide to take the horse back to the farmer and not help the Scoia tael the Scoia tael woman actually finds you outside of Novigrad and attacks you.
i've been walking through this masterpiece 5 times and have missed all the candies from this video. Just happy to feel every time finding something new on my own and even thanks to YT.
about the fourth one, there is also a part when their commanding officer scolded them and told they will be put in front of the lines if they keep doing scams. the commanding officer also doubts that a witcher is a spy
@@xLetalis Yeah, another thing which most people missed was that if you trigger the guard cutscene while singing then sometimes Geralt speaks a dialogue in which he mentions that the Katakan didn't hear him but the guards surely did and some other things are also mentioned along with that...
Loved this video. So many great lines in this episode too like “sometimes it takes courage to be a coward”. Every time I hear this games music it hits me in the feels. I still like falling asleep to the soundtrack sometimes, so good.
Scoiatael in Mare quest don't necessarily attack you, it might be because of either TW2 Roche vs Iorweth choice, or (more probable) earlier quest in Velen. When I approached them, they talked and agreed to give the horse (maybe after being paid, don't remember now).
I remember meeting the guards twice, the first time I paid them and the second time their commander showed up and told them off. Just went to the location in your video and met them for a third time! I love this game ❤️ And great videos!
Great video as always Letalis, it’s thanks to passionate creators like you (and how amazing the Witcher universe is) that this community thrives years on. I can’t wait for ‘Things you missed in Toussaint’, I’m guessing that’s gonna come after the one on HoS. I’ll have another excuse to go explore that beautiful map again and find the secrets for myself.
I'm not far enough in the game yet to say that it actually works, but you should be able to get the letters spawning in oxenfurt by executing "addfact(import_geralt_drank_mysterious_potion)" in the console.
I might have found one more detail, maybe someone could provide clarification. 1. When helping triss and mages to get to the boat, refuse to help the two remaining mages and start evacuation without them. 2. In the mission where you go to oxenfurt prison to save rita, in the cell next to her's, there is a letter of a mage saying he has bribed a soilder to get him out. I dont remember the names but i think its the same male mage that i left behind. Looks like a wife escaped and husband was caught. And since the letter is still in prison , maybe he could not escape.
I just found out that you can use the hornwall horn against the shaelmaar in the arena from the Blood and Wine dlc. I used to it lure the shaelmaar to attack me and hit the arena walls.
Hey, I enjoy your videos very much. I see things I did not know exist in Witcher 3. I always wanted to talk about some unusual things that I found recently (it was my 7th time I played the game). I do not know if you played The Witcher 1 but if you are in the Bayways village and go south you can find another place with bandits. If you get rid of them you meet a man from the Witcher 1 among the returning people. He stutters and talks about a brick factory in Vizima. And the second thing. On Faroe, you can change the weather. If it's raining, go to one of the Hemdall shrines, climb up and pray. In a few seconds the sky should be clean. I really do not know how you can deal with Toussaint. There are so many things everyone can miss! And yes, I know. My name is Roche, but (oh, irony!) I prefer Iorveth.
Nice to meet you! Sadly I haven't played Witcher 1 past the intro :( And I did learn about the shrines recently from other comments on my Skellige video, I didn't know about them!
There is something you missed if you actually took the whole house with papers and gave them to olgierd.vivaldi will actually get that auction house and if you interact with that sign above its door youll get a dialogue
The 2 guys with the experiment, you can meet them again in witcher 2, at LockMuin. During the quest where you need to outsmart a gollem and get to sleep with the blonde mage spy.
Concerning the missing saves when trying to import: They are in the wrong folder. Witcher 3 tries to import them from Documents\Witcher 2 whilst they normally are in a steam folder userdata\20920. You wanna copy those to your Witcher 2 folder in documents, worked for me at least.
@@xLetalis The way you talk to us in your videos! Just giving kudos to your fans, being open minded and the complete lack of arrogance. It's very refreshing, and your vids make me smile even when I've had a shit day. Keep putting out the good stuff. :)
Finally you found a secret that I did not discover myself XD. (5) When it comes to fertility potion yeah, it works only probably with a complete save from W2
About the potion from the two dudes: I am pretty sure that they are involved (and possibly die) in the quest "The Secrets of Loc Muinne" (The quest with Cynthia).
Details you might miss in Beauclair: just after "Capture the castle", Guillome and Vivienne will stand in the group behind the dutchess if you solved the "Warble..." quest by use of true love. If not, I bet Guillome will not be there, maybe not even Vivienne. :)
One thing that I do know about CD Projekt is their storyline writing is very intricate. More than likley you would have had to have a completed game to import in order to "tick" the correct boxes in order to trigger certain scenes and scripts. For all we know if the save game imported doesn't first see a completed tag/flag/condition it skips over everything else - which would explain why you couldn't get the fertility easter egg imported from TW2 witcher.fandom.com/wiki/Witcher_experimentations_-_cont.
@biggreenmachine2007 wait so when you finished Blood And Wine(before finishing the main quest line), who came to visit you at Geralt's house?Dandeline prehaps?
About that last point, you can bring the guy a wild horse walk out of the zone ask the guy for your reward get the coin and exp, get the horse back out and walk it back in and keep getting paid and getting more exp as many times as you want till you get bored to death or get enough exp to make the mission underlevel so you cant get the same level of exp.
Thank you Letalis. The Cure hint is really awesome. I wonder if the books mention anyone try to cure those witchers?? And it seems that Yennefer is the only sorceress who want to cure her infertility.
"Let the woman go, then we can flirt" " Come out and fight bitch" "From the moment we first met I knew Id kick your arses" Funniest Geralt dialogues. During the Oxenfurt Drunk quest I died cuz I was laughing so hard that I didnt notice Geralt being attacked. I can only imagine what a Witcher 4 game would be like
You can find the charred corpses of the 2 guys who do the experiment on Geralt during a side quest in the sewers of loc muinne. I never would have thought that this would come up in the Witcher 3, I was pretty dissapointed after finding their corpses. Thank you for showing me that this actually made it into the Witcher 3. Edit: I misremembered a little, you meet them alive in act 3 (only if you go with Iorweth i think). Together with two mages you break into an old laboratory, but both of them are incinerated by magical doors that want you to solve riddles.
this secondary interaction with these guards from the kingdom, I discovered through this video, when I was playing the witcher 3 for the ninth time in 2019.
At 10:28 marker regarding the two guards, if you finished the quest A deadly plot, Gregor, will appear and will help you with the greedy guards, having the 4th alternative to them.
On importing saves: it doesn’t really work well. My own game wound up being vastly different to what was intended. Letho was dead, despite me sparing him. Roche hated me because I didn’t help him rescue Anais. And Lady La Velette hated me because I killed her son, despite sparing him too!
I know I'm years too late, but in case anybody else is wondering, if you play Witcher 2 on steam, it doesnt store all your save games in Documents/Witcher 2. It actually stores them all in your steam folder: Steam/userdata/[random numbers]. If you check all the folders, you'll find one with all your Witcher 2 saves. Problem xLet was having is that Witcher 3 imports saves only from Documents folder, which is why it only showed 2 saves. He needs to copy them from steam/userdata folder Documents/witcher 2 folder.
11:10 there are a lot of times in the game where AXII works against a group of people despite the game warning you of its usage on groups of people in White Orchard
According to the books (second short story book, first story). All mutants are sterile, including witchers. He does that while explaning why golden dragons couldn't exist.
The guys that gave you the potion you will later meet them at loc muinne and there they will ask you to help them in an expedition and you can ask them about the potion, i have a footage talking about the potion with them. Edit:while i was progressing in the mission it appeared that both of them died.
I was always curious after I found #4 why the programmer who did their AI made them so powerful. They're just 2 random greedy soldiers lol The main camp those scoiatel are from in #5 is not too far away from them and there's a note you can find in the camp.
The one with the potion in TW2 blow my mind! All the times I played TW2 always bugged me that I cannot "find" the resolution to that quest, thank you to give peace to my mind :)
Obviously a bit late, but in case you never saw, there's way to force the game to assume you took the potion in Witcher 2 that may cure sterility on PC. If you have the dev console enabled, run the command addfact(import_geralt_drank_mysterious_potion) prior to leaving White Orchard. I think if you enter Velen, it will be too late, but I'm not certain.
@@xLetalis Certainly! Oh, and I should say, I tried this myself, and it did work. Found the note on a bench in the same courtyard where the guards block further access during Shani's portion of Hearts of Stone.
One thing I didn't like about the Witcher. All the choices you had to make in the beginning about protagonists that were not familiar to me if you didn't play Witcher one and two.
This time I missed everything you've shown. Big thanks for sharing that! I thought that quest with the woman and an encounter with "tax" soldiers were meant to be those shortest quests with no future consequences. Also, once I had another bug with horse quest. My Roach started to drink water next to the man's house and when I got his horse back (it was definitely the correct one), he thought Roach was the horse I returned with and thanked me for giving him a younger one. And I wasn't forced to fight with Scoia'tael before. I just negotiated with them taking one of their horses (maybe it happened cause I had chosen Iorveth in Witcher 2). I would like to ask you one question (I don't know if someone had asked you about that before). In your video about Witcher books you mentioned you had been asked to review Netflix's The Witcher episodes. But have you heard about Alzur's Legacy, a fan-made film made by Polish Witcher fans? Obviously its quality won't be at the same level as the series made by professionals with much bigger budget, but it could be interesting since it tells a story about Lambert and Triss which takes place after the games. Would you like to watch it and eventually also say a few words about it?
No, it isn't. The film crew recently uploaded a new trailer which revealed the premiere date - 30th November ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-K2Ahcc4zH54.html
I encountered the second extortion right after the Borsodi heist as I was about to escape the crime scene; these 2 guys showed up at the perfect timing.
7:52 What I'm interested in is how this letter's even possible, if Farid and Gaspar both die in the quest with Cynthia in Loc Muinne with riddles and stuff. There's no way around it, they die for sure.
@@xLetalis I can assure you right now, that I always loaded the save where they are dead, and that I have found this letter at least once. Perhaps it was a "Dumbledore-to-Grindelwald" sort of letter, you know, where they parted in the evening but still couldn't but share their thoughts in the night ) That's my only guess. And a great pity, that. Could've been a huge breakthrough
I just accepted to test their potion in my first play-through of Witcher 2! I had no idea it carried over to Witcher 3. Now I just need to get better at Witcher 2 and finish it!
Hello I am wondering if you have ever done a video explaining the Witcher chronology and where the books and the games stand. I would appreciate it if you saw this and answered. have a nice day or night depending on where you are
He start reading the books recently. But if I remeber correctly the first game is 5 years after the last book, the second is almost immediatly after the first game and the third is 6 months or one year after the second.
I think the reason you couldn't find the note about Geralt and pregnancy is because you hadn't finished the side quest in Loc Muinne, "The Secrets of Loc Muinne" where you can help Cynthia (the elf who compressed Triss into a figurine). If you helped her, the two professors would have died, this means that the note doesn't exist. To get around this, I think you just had to kill her and not help with the quest. You weren't able to find the note as the quest was never done and so Cynthia and the professors would have proceeded without your help, and would have died. I checked IGN for the list of side quests in Chapter 3 of Witcher 2 and it shows that "The Secrets of Loc Muinne" was exclusive to Iorveth's path, so even if you completed the game in that imported save it would've had to be completed on Iorveth's path.
@The Strawberry Pimp lmao same but I bought it digital the day I bought the ps4 in April this year. As soon as I laid eyes on the witcher 3, I reached for my card and emptied that shiz for good. Luckily it was on sale so whatever money I had left from buying the ps4 I could spend it on the game.
