Thank you so much I thought it was my microphones fault but then I turned off noise reduction and echo cancelation and it made my life a whole lot better.

omg this helped so much, my mic kept on cutting out and all i had to do was turn the gain down and turn echo cancellation off so my mic sounds a lot better on discord now

I have this problem, and I think the problem is actually VoiceMeter. I did all the settings you recommended, and I still have the microphone cutting out, even when testing. I've closed voice meter, and the microphone being used is the mic directly (no software middleman), and tested that the microphone works fine in Windows settings by listening to the mic. Does anyone have any other suggestions?

Off topic, but i just bought a Blue snowball, and a lot of people have been saying the ice and regular snowball has been good. The audio only sounds good on audacity, the rest is just super poor. Not sure about discord. Any tips?

You might want to give Krisp a second chance. They've greatly improved how it works and it's doing a pretty good job in filtering out unwanted noises. The only thing it refuses to filter out is myself eating chips. -.- (Most likely because I'm wearing a headset and the microphone is too close to my mouth...)

It’s not that I don’t think it does the job. It’s that with proper audio management you dont need krisp to do the job. It makes your vocals less clear

@@TheFranswahStudio Most people can't be bothered with complicated audio management tho. They prefer an easy solution and Krisp is working pretty well in that regard nowadays. All you have to do is flip a switch and your friends will no longer be able to hear your keyboard, your dog barking, cars honking from outside, etc... Personally, I cannot distinguish between a voice distorted by Krisp and a normal, clearer voice. Maybe it's just my dumb ears tho... :,)

I am using the rodecaster pro for my discord game chat and when i test my input in discord i hear my voice warbled and being affected by some effects even when i turned every effects off both on the rodecaster and discord with manual input. Totally confused as to why this is happening!

Krisp literally blocks out anything that doesn't sound very human. It won't pick up keyboard typing. It won't even pick up someone whistling. You can shake something right next to the mic and it will not transmit it. It's an incredible feature that shouldn't be ignored. It just doesn't apply to someone who lives alone or is always alone in a quiet room.

The problem is that no matter what I put the sensitivity input, it stays the same. I can slide it all the way down we will hear the same thing that all the way up. I need to use the noise suppression on discord otherwise we can hear EVERY little thing that I do like keyboard and mouse no matter how low i put the sensitivity. But with the noise suppression, my voice often get cut off...

I just noticed you have your Attenuation set to 0% but when others speak is on. When its set to 0% it completely disables Attenuation. So wouldn't having that ticked be useless?

Hi! I have a blue yeti that sounds really great when using Loghitechs own software were u can change alot of setting etc.. But when i use discord it dosent even sound close to what logitechs software made it sound. Can u make a profile from the software and put that on discord so it sounds exactly like that or nah??

My microphone is Microphone Array IDT High Definition Audio CODEC And my input on discord is the default the 1 I just said and my output is just my headphones or speakers but when I test it the sound from my pc the fans is loud and it's going on in the background so u can hear the fan

I recommend NEVER enabling Automatic Gain Control. You should be managing your audio settings yourself. If you're clipping, turn yourself down.

Hi there , my friend is using discord app on his Samsung m20 smartphone, the problem he's facing is that whenever somebody fire a weapon around him either is the enemy or he's teammates, his mobile screen blackout, other than that the game runs smoothly, now this whole blackout of screen is very annoying, we have tried search various ways to find a solution like we have turned on the speakers, we have also done the switching of phone to wired headsets option, we also update the discord app and mobile software, but nothing seems to work, can u suggest anything useful.....
