H. Art Actaully people thought his reason of hating Goku is because he cried but no You see the reason he hates Goku because his face reminded him of the time where he was stab and his planet was destroyed
I feel like people are missing the point of Brolys hatred/fear around Goku. Their is no way Broly could know as a baby King Vegeta wanted him dad and we know for sure his father didn't tell him because his father and Broly dont really talk about stuff lol. Broly anger for Goku is more like a trigger whenever Broly sees Goku or hears his name he remembers the bad stuff that happened to him as a baby like being stabbed by Vegetas soilder being thrown into the trash and Friezas bombs Gokus constant crying was like a trigger almost like a war veteran with PTSD when WAr vets with PTSD her loud noises or claps they start wilding out not because they fear they noise just becuase the loud noises brings them back to the war and gunshots its like a trigger so Broly is practically the same being stabbed as a baby is traumatic
"Krillin(to king cold): So you're frieza's father huh, wow that must mean you'll be involved in a lot of future events right, right?" All jokes aside, it does seem family members of major characters get shafted often and don't live up to their potential: King Cold, Raditz, Goten, Tarble(on the basis that he's vegeta's brother, not his character)
You know what would've been awesome? A arc that shows an war between Bojack gang vs Frieza's clan because both of the want them to control of the galaxy for business
Bringing back Cooler in the RoF would've been better for the story as to explaining why Frieza got so strong in 4 months, instead of Frieza getting stronger by torturing someone a thousand times weaker than him
Grandpa C it would have been more believable to have Cooler training for years trying to get himself strong enough to fight Goku. And after 10+ years finally unlocks his golden form. Then he has the power and confidence to get revenge. Or Cold could have been revived during the 7 year gap between Cell and Buu and he goes off to train for years until he is ready. Freeza and his 4 month training power up was incredibly lazy writing even by DB standards.
Ammiel Banayat tbh, I think king Cold probably would've forgot the grudge and would've focused on rebuilding his empire and worry about reviving Frieza at a later date
Grandpa C yea based on his personality that we briefly got to see you would probably be right. He didn't seem to give a shit about getting revenge and seemed bored with the idea.
+KriptoX As he was in the movie, he was almost an exact retread of Super Buu, so it boils down to how Toei would've handled him if he got a saga of his own, like Garlic Jr.
@LA Lakers he's basically just the alternate movie version of buu; a pure evil demon, starts off fat and goofy but then slims down and gets even stronger, and is finished off by fusion.
Here an idea if gohan became the MC as Toriyama wanted then ave janemba as a goku solo arc and ave it solely in the afterlife and in hell only don't bring the z fighters only have pikon and goku vs janemba and his gang mainly cell and frieza then do resurrection of F but with cooler
Turles should get an honorable mention. A story built around Turles hearing the legend of the "Fruit of the gods" (according to Xenoverse) , finding its hidden location and fighting the guardians of the god fruit. Only to find it has long since dried up and a few seeds remain. After years of research he determines Earth has just the right environment to make the fruit grow. Then we get the events of the movie.
It's true, most of these Villains would be more fleshed out if they had their own story arc, but most importantly "personal MOTIVATION" is key for them to grow as a villain, it's how they get shit done, and how they react to the Heroes. Villains are ultimately the force to push a story arc along, and to give them a proper story arc is what will make them better.
I actually really like janemba. He’s basically evil personified more so then kid buu plus he has all these crazy powers like reality warping resurrection etc
I only realized through Herms' DB journey on Twitter how most of the 13 original DBZ movies were retreads of the current arc back when Z was airing in Japan: 1- Dead Zone: Goku and Piccolo are forced to team against a villain, getting overpowered enough that Gohan rages and wrecks the villain, leaving everyone shocked. 2- The World's Strongest: Took a Kaioken x4 to take out the villain. 4- Lord Slug: Powerful Namekian wishing for youth. 5- Cooler's Revenge: Don't need to say. 7- Super Android 13: Two Androids absorbed by another creation of Gero's to make him super-powerful. 9- Bojack Unbound: Everyone is hopelessly wrecked by above SSJ-tier henchmen until Gohan turns SSJ2 and wrecks them, ending with a massive punch to the main villain and a beam battle. 10- Broly, Second Coming: Goku gives Gohan (and Goten) inspiration from beyond the grave to defeat their opponent. 12- Fusion Reborn: Villain starts off with an innocent, fat form which gets pummeled by SSJ3 Goku, and turns into a slim beast that could only be defeated via fusion. Said villain gets stomped by an SSJ1 fusion. Overall, though, the movies are all very fun to watch, dubbed or subbed. I think the fact that most of them repeated plot points already explored enough that they'd be cumbersome. The fact that they were each ~40 minutes long allowed above-average animation and a chance for Toei to display their own creativity, which carried into GT.
@@ProjektTaku Haha, this is a pretty old post. I checked the release date and considering the scenario would've been completed a few months before the Ginyus arrived on Namek in the manga, it couldn't have referenced the Frieza fight. It has more similarities to everyone vs Vegeta, what with Kaioken, an Oozaru, and a Spirit Bomb, but I think it changes things up enough that it works as something that definitely seems inspired by the main story but has enough respect to do its own thing.
A Cooler story arc during the three year training period for the Androids would've been perfect. I would've loved to have seen Broly as the final villain in Dragonball Z.
Real King You know he can go LSSJ3, LSSJ4 and god, right? They should have canonized him and his transformations in Super instead of giving us a Broly with gigantic breasts and lipstick!😠
To think, if Bojack had gotten a sweet story arc, just like the movie, Gohan would've still been awesome with support by his mother as well shown in the film itself and it could've ended differently despite how awesome it still was to see Gohan so SSj2 again and take out Bojack's crew as well as the cruelty of Bojack tossing his own female compatriot at Gohan practically. He kinda seemed like a sadistic space pirate of sorts too. Even if it had only been 13 episodes I would've definitely have liked to see that more than any other "movie villain" as despite a kinda replication of ssj2 being unleashed, it did a lot of other awesome stuff. the tournament had no relation to the normal earth tournaments (something that wouldn't happen later til super aka the super joke). And it was done with some really cool ideas and concepts and visuals as well. Honestly, the only film I liked better (yes, more so than even battle of gods or ressurection f and broly 1) was wrath of the dragon (even though it was too short, we definitely could've used more story on tapion's younger brother and there whole world, etc+plus the sword thing and ending credits showing use of it was excellent). The latter should've been a 2 parter, bojack should've had a saga, and well, we shall see if Broly won't just be something raging annoyance and be done way better now, but, good luck with that. Most hope I have is he'll be canon and it'll look as nice as ressurection F. tbh Beerus also deserved an arc going way more into his own backstory and existence than it being little things thrown in here and there with the other 99 universes.
I personally agree with this list, it would of made dbz a bit more better but my favorite arc would be if janemba had his arc and I would like it better if vegito beats him instead of gogeta
mr.fresh 20 a Jenemba arc where we learn more about the demon realm and maybe have the Z fighters go there would have been awesome. There is so much left on the table with the demon realm. We know Jenemba and Debura are both from there and Babidi had the ability to travel back and fourth. Jenemba trying to merge all realms and control everything would have been a great final DBZ arc.
mr.fresh 20 i would use Buuhan ripping spacetime apart before Vegeto stopped him as the starting point. That tear between dimensions created a bridge between the demon realm, otherworld and the main universe. This is how Jenemba escapes the demon realm. And like the movie Jenemba somehow absorbs all the evil spirit energy to include Kid Buu's as he was cleansed and reincarnated quickly at the request of Goku. He gets so powerful he can manipulate reality around him just like the movie.
Saul Diaz If they changed it, that would take away from his individuality. Because his motivations are entirely selfish, it makes him more than just "Freeza's brother." It also makes his defeat so much more powerful. He has a very strong sense of pride and honor, but is so sure of his superiority that it leads to his downfall. In his final moments, it pains him to see that he is more like his brother than he realized, the one he thought himself to be so far above.
I definitely agree with Cooler and Slug. Their personalities are very fleshed out and would make you constantly wonder what their up to off scene. I'll agree with Broly having his own saga because of Paragus. Paragus would have made Broly's saga a sick interesting.
no second thought to Dr. wheelo? the infamous scientist from 50 years ago in earths history who ended up as a giant robot xenomorph hungry for the strongest body on earth
This just popped up in my notifications and great call for Broly! The new movie is the exact package you guys described! Hoping for that Cooler movie still.
Fun video, I'd have put the Galaxy Soldiers higher, but then I also would have made Zangya the captain XD Gohan needing helped never bothered me cos he hadn't wanted to be a fighter but that's just me. Loved that idea with the Cold family invasion and Janemba being something created by Dabura, that could have been great and allowed for some awesome fights when all the souls escape hell. Tenshinhan Kikoho blasting Cell back to hell would have been epic.
What irks me about broly is that people just think hes mad because goku was crying. I think that it's deeper than that, kakarot was chosen to live while he was chosen to die. And for all we know paragas could've told him something about kakarot that we never got to hear.
I wish they'd make a series for the saiyans on planet Vegeta. Their beginning, sharing they planet with the tuffles. Then their partnership with frieza. It could work for a a good 3 seasons or so. I'd love it if it had the old color too. Also I could have a lot of bardock and Goku's mom. Please share the idea and hopefully it might happen.
@Laughingstock Media ; we all have to remember that Bojack Unbound takes place like a year or two after the Cell Games saga... and this is the point where Gohan had spent more time (as seen during the Bio-Broly end credits) with his studying and baby brother Goten.
5 Minor Dragon ball characters who should have a saga 5.Yamcha Black 4.El Hermano 3.Popo the one above Zeno 2.Dr.Rota and his omnipotent ability 1.Ultra Instinct Saibaman
When I was young, I actually made an arc(well wrote the first episode) after the black star dragon Ball saga, where Bojack comes back and is the leader of a group comprised of all of the killed movie villians (I can't remember if there were any killed villians from the show).
Bring back Bojack (and crew) as well as Cooler. Jamemba could even join the ranks but Pikkon should also be "in". Speaking of which, why in the Hell isn't he in the Tournament of Power?
I'd like a Janemba arc(preferably with a different first form) that replaces the Buu arc. Possibly with Dabura as the king of the demon realm, whose actions serve as the catalyst for Janemba's birth(perhaps even accidentally).
Rise of the ginyu force prequel. Who taught goldo to time stop, did Burter actually win a race to win the title of the fastest, who inspired the choreography? too many unanswered questions in need of answers.
I’d say arc in order After vegeta fight Turles saga After frieza saga coolers revenge After cell saga bojack unbound After buu janemba Never bring this Garlick jr Dr wheelo Lord slug Meta cooler I would say broly is half half I want broly to have his own arc but I can’t see him being put in this stuff Like I can’t seeing him fitting where would he go Before the cell saga after bojack unbound
Cooler would be a perfect villain to bring into the Canon. Frieza's brother ? Has a connection to Goku as he saw Planet Vegeta destroyed ? A badass third form ? We could get a Golden Cooler. Or make it better, have Mech-Cooler copies as replacements for a Force but have the Armored Squadron be the only men who isn't a copy of him.
Janemba Hirudegarn Cooler Broly I think they would have the best kind of arcs. They had a lot of potential and if they could have developed more they could have been remarkable villains. Cooler could have tons of story with Freeza and now Frost even. Janemba can bring in more Other World exploration and flush him out more. Hirudegarn would be a lot of fun, because if he shows up, Tapion will show up haha. I agree with Geeklist. Broly gets a lot of shit because of the hate train. The Legendary Super Saiyan is a really cool concept. If they could revamp and execute his story better he could be one of the hottest commodities in all of Super. The Legendary Super Saiyan is the kind of bed time story the regular Super Saiyans would tell their kids about at night. Like "We're the Super Saiyans, but there were others who were pure monsters. Natural destroyers who were so rare that they are the stories legends were told. Especially with Kale and everything and the amount of Fan power Broly has would bring in big money. It could redeem his character a lot and he could contribute a whole lot to the overall series. I doubt it'll happen but still could be interesting.
To build off your Cooler instead of Freeza for Resurrection F. Cooler could have been weaker and always looked up to his brother (or maybe doesn't like him, but don't kill my family) and has been training this entire time. So then there's no stupid '4 months of training' and Cooler can be smarter and not as prone to anger. You can still have Freiza in last arc, but now Frieza is mad at them for killing his brother too. I don't know
The only thing I dislike about the DBZ series is the whole Arc build. T really limits the amount of suspense and sense of threat that exists. Especially since it’s stated at the beginning who the saga is about. We already know who the final villains are and where the end comes. With that being said, the movies could’ve definitely been inserted into places that made absolute perfect sense. Slug could be post saiyan saga. He was ok imo. Throw in garlic jr too.- that would give piccolo and vegeta some shine time. Insert a Cooler saga. His character was great. Even the meta-cooler story was decent. Then Cell saga. Immediately following up with Bojack. I think Broly was Under powered, or at least displayed as being less powerful than he should have been. I think he should be somewhere around Kid buu. So those 2 in any order ending with Janemba. That would have been pretty epic.
I always thought it'd make more sense for Broly to hate Vegeta. Plus, it'd give some more significance to Vegeta and the whole "Prince of all Saiyans" title.
I'd like to see an entire movie about Bojack's race.Possibly a child with a saiyan woman that escaped from death at the hands on bojack. In fact, the child of Bardock and a woman from Bojack's race.
*My picks* Janemba should've been where Buu was, while Buu should've been the movie villain. What could possibly be more dangerous than all the Z-fighters in one (Cell)??? A monstrous abomination made of all the evil in Hell who bends the laws of life and death. Make it so that Dabura wanted to control more than the Demon realm, but when he tried to cause havoc in the Otherworld by destroying the purification device he gets consumed by all the evil inside and became Janemba. It would make more sense for Goku to help in the story since they would be able to freely travel to the Otherworld and Supreme Kai would have a better reason to come to Earth trying to prevent this with Gohan's help. Then you could have Gohan solidify his role as the main defender with the final fight being Ultimate Gohan vs Janemba. Cooler I thought was a good enough villain, but having not just one but both of his movies be mini arcs that happened while Cell and the Androids were around would've been great. First time is Cooler and Cold come to Earth like in your story, but his arc ends with Future Trunks curbstomping him and one of his henchmen barely managing to find a piece of Cooler's corpse and running away while Trunks tells the others about the Androids. Then after they get to the stage where Goku and Gohan come out of the time chamber they go to Namek with Meta Cooler then that goes down. Broly was great as a movie, all I'd do is make it so that it's a canon movie and Cell makes appearances sensing their battle.
Cooler has always been my favourite DBZ villain, he isn't as cocky as Frieza and be has more of a practical, get the job done attitude, plus he was said to have been stronger than his brother which makes sense, makes Frieza seem more of a spoiled child who hadn't had to work much at all in his life, whereas Cooler trains and stays more practical
What would have been nice... is if all of the Movies were originally dubbed AND aired on Toonami around the same time as their respective sagas..... an example being the Cooler Movies airing before Gero and 19 shows up and the Android/Cell arc movies airing between and after the Cell Games Saga....
I think Broly should have DEFINITELY had his own arc!!! I think the story of him being pissed that Goku cried next to was poop. I think it would have been better to have him hate Vegeta and let Vegeta use everyones power (making him become more humble and asking for help for once) to defeat Broly and get the win for once.
with broly they could have fleshed out the past more with bardock and king vegeta under freeza and why king vegeta was so worried broly could bring about their destruction by freeza only to have it happen anyways because of bardock
for the cooler part that would be cool the z fighters trying to hold them off for 3 hours and not knowing if they could trust trunks while goku not knowing the dangers that they were in so he would take a while and cooler fighting trunks and vegeta holding off the dad frieza (I forgot his name)and the concept would be cool and having vegeta surpass his limits not able to turn super saiyan but almost equal to trunks
At least Cooler got 2 movies and Broly got 3. We didn't get to see enough or become familiar with the other movie villains. If any *one and done* character villains deserved there own saga it should've been Bojack, Janemba or Lord Slug. Movie 9's story was way better than Broly's movies. It had better potential for a saga or at least a filler saga like Garlic Jr's short saga. Movie 9 had the most reasonable story that could fit into the canon timeline before Battle of Gods was created.
I think a Cooler arc would've been great! Since the Frieza race(FR) isnt born evil they could've done a civil war type thing. One of the good FR would be sent to find the person who defeated frieza years ago for help. Have Cooler be an absolute monster who is more cunning and mature than frieza. The FR race is an extremely strong race as is so it wouldn't be surprising if cooler was stronger than a ssj and if cooler didnt train likd frieza who knows how strong he could be if he did trained. He was already way stronger than frieza as is so they could easily bring him in now with super and it'd be believable if he was equal to ssj blue.
I wish that instead of Resurrection F, we got a canon Cooler film and an appearance in Super. Freeza is awesome and all, but him coming back over a decade after his death and becoming golden after four fucking months of training? Nah. Cooler could have been so much better, imagine one of Freeza's clan training for years for vengeance. Freeza never trained a day in his life, and Cooler was already slightly more powerful, so Cooler training for years until he was finally ready to avenge his brother would have been so much better, and due to the Z fighters having no previous encounters with him, he would be a much more dangerous opponent. Super has so many wasted opportunities like this and it drives me insane. But who knows, they're making Broly canon, maybe we'll finally get an official Cooler appearance.
I know this was a long time ago but just imagine Gohan trains after the cell arc after buu arc cooler Canon King cold with still alive reaching their highest form by training with each other with Frieza all three Goku Gohan Vegeta have blue King cold versus Gohan Vegeta versus Frieza Cooler versus Goku Now that's a movie 🍿
I think bojack should have had a saga that took place between the seven year mark and battles gohan and no information between the seven years so it would have been perfect and goku' s already dead and gohan just learning ssj2 i thought it would have been a good saga
If we have broly it will make things confusing because of kale and how the universe 7 fighters look so surprised like "wtf this is new I've never seen this before"
