Everyone says front foot just below the bolts for an ollie and that just doesn't work for me. I have bring it 3 or more inches back. Back side ollies up things are really hard for me. I will work on it today. Shuvit accepted. Agree you find more by walking. Even riding my motorcycle opposed to driving I see the world differently. Another great video. Really enjoying the videos.
the uk has some horrendous paths and so many dog walkers man the dogs go berserk i think its because your board sounds like growling. some great tips thanks for the vid
Hahahaha I should definitely make a video about the dogs because holy moly I've been bitten more than once by some psycho dogs who hear the board and just sprint at you and start snapping away 😂
You don't HAVE to put yourself in a dangerous situation to try this, but just keep it in your mind if you ever do find yourself about to die flying down a hill, it might just save you
I like your video. However regarding speed wobbles you are misinformed. That technique might work at slower speeds. But as a lifelong downhill enthusiast , I'm here to tell you that when bombing a hill you definitely want to put the majority of your weight right behind your front bolts. (Closer to the front) Imo the best way to get out of speed wobbles is to do a quick power slide.
As an also lifelong downhill enthusiast, I find that leaning forward too much is usually what throws you off the board, so reorienting and putting a bit more weight back usually solves your problem. Obviously if you have the control to power slide to slow down, you either already know this or have enough control and balance that you don't need to keep it in the back of your mind that you can save yourself this way. If you are wobbling but still on your feet enough to power slide, you are going ridiculously fast. considering these are aimed at newer skateboarders, I'm not expecting people to come here wondering why it's hard to control going 50+mph downhill
Is this a master troll?? Feet together vs apart is the most nonsense thing i've ever heard 😂😂😂 Get someone to push you from the side with feet together vs apart and see which one gives you a more stable base.. Anyway, props if this was just a parody stunt 😂🤙🏽
There's actually a bowl pretty close by in the car, but it's just a bowl on its own and that gets pretty boring pretty quick imo. However when it comes to reasonable walking distance it's basically just street only for me ATM. There used to be a park in riding distance but it was over 20 years old and got demolished a year ago over safety concerns. They're supposed to be building a new one but that might still take another year or two to happen. But I'm looking forward to documenting the process a much as I can!
