@@emcstlv I would also recommend gifting some of your residents and make sure to gift wrap them if u can. Increasing ur friendship points with them can really help. Another thing is to remove weeds or give more insects to blathers. Doing those can show big improvements over time. You’ve got everything down, but u could be missing just a few of the things mentioned. Good luck!! 💕
tip: upgrade all your buildings. step 1: recruit 8+ villagers step 2: bridges and inclines step 3: build fences step 4: Flowers(lots of flower) Quick tip: you will need to place 25 pieces of furniture, it will be better if you put different pieces of furniture, and if you put the same furniture color the furniture all different colors. You may need to upgrade all your buildings first before following the video.

In order to get a 3 start island you need 27 pieces of furniture outside Two bridges Some people say you need inclines but you don’t but you can if you want 8 villagers 3 different types of fruits from trees coconuts count tons of flowers 50 fences Nooks cranny counts for more points if it’s upgraded and able sisters to Turns out you need able sisters

5:04 Fun fact: Your first campsite villager is usually a smug however I did hear there were a few cases that this camper could be something else (but with my own experience it’s always smug since on my island my first camper was Ken who is a smug chicken/rooster)

Raymond was my first campside camper. I thought he looked cool so I asked him to stay. Days later a friend tells me who Raymond is and about his rare status. I was shook. Now he’s never leaving my island ever again :)
There are no such thing as rare villagers, only villagers in high demand. You have the same odds of getting Raymond to every other villager in the game.
It is infact impossible to get Raymond as one of your starters. Your starter 2 are jock and uchi. You're first three you can find on island or can move in by themselves are peppy, lazy and normal. Your first, required camper is always smug. So if you're looking for all of the personalities, snooty and cranky are the only ones you need to go out of your way to find. Campers are always the personality that you need, too.
@@luvvrroisin no he is rare because the cat species is like 20+ cats which makes him rare because if you want him specifically then it will be hard because there are 26 cats so 1/26 chance is 3.70% while other species like alligators with 9 characters only have 8-10% chances.
I restarted my island and got back to 3 stars by following the video but honestly I put like 100 flowers out and after they grew full size I hit 3 stars

My first 2 were Tank and Agnes. My next 3 I got pretty lucky. I got Piper, Fauna (who is one of my faves), and Zucker (who I like and didn't know I guess is pretty rare and sought after)
My first two villagers were Mac and Reneigh! Also thank you for this I’ve planted like 7 different trees a bunch of flowers, a bunch of plots I now have 6 villagers and the 2 I started with!
Also: for any new players out there, Your first two starting villagers will always be a sisterly and jock villager. Your next three villagers will be lazy, normal, and peppy. They don't come with their original furniture so I just end up letting it autofill. And your first campsite villager is always smug and you must take him.

I had Lyman (Mr unibrow) and a red squirrel… ALSO a unibrow. I felt they wanted me to have a unibrow island. They are gone and replaced. Bluebear and Stitches came to my rescue among others. I love all my villagers now.
My first 2 villagers were Charlise and Kody. I just started the game for the first time at the end of August this year (2022). I just got 3 stars last night. I have 9 villagers with one more moving in today, the town hall, the museum, nook’s cranny (not upgraded of course), the able sisters. What I did was anytime planting flowers was a double nook miles reward I would do it especially if there were different types for sale other than what’s on the island already. And anytime someone gave me a piece of furniture as a gift I would put it outside their house. I spent some nook miles in a plaza bench, plaza clock, lighthouse, and a lifeguard chair to put on the island. I left the items that I crafted for the villagers houses where I put them. I planted some fruit trees cause I have a friend at work who has been playing for a long time and already has all the fruit so I planted 3 of each, plus a few coconuts on the beach cause I found some on a mystery island, and 3 bamboo. I have 2 bridges, another bridge in progress, and one incline. I don’t have any fences not even the ones Tom Nook gave me ( they are in my storage at home).
I finally got three stars ty :D don’t ask how I got Judy and sherb and only had two stars ;-; anyways ty for helping me get to three stars :D and my first two villagers that I brought from mystery islands were maple and cookie
How does using amiibo's help a players score? I bought a set of amiibos and was amazed on how easy it was to blow past a 3 star island to a five star island. Inviting campers 3 times allows you to change villagers at will without having to make them dislike the player. I thought maybe friendship and fame somehow also added to scores. I am a different player now with the amiibo's than I was before and the game seems more complete, at least to me. Not having to worry about how many spaces I need to cover is so not missed! Leaving more time to cultivate friendships. Going on mystery tours seems a waste now. Not only of time but of miles. Boat rides to islands are 1/2 the price and twice as rewarding! There's a much higher chance of having Raymond in your campsite as your first camper, as you can only get a smug first time around. That includes some great villagers, like Ken and Barold, however those like Pietro, not so much. Edit: I take back everything I said about Pietro. No. 1 best sheep in the game.
True! I found out way after that it was the same personalities for your first two villagers. I actually had Raymond as my first campsite villager but allowed him to leave! 😬

it's quite possible 😂😂 - I was going to say that they are good to use for the beginning of the game, for getting 3 stars, so put out as many as you want but once you get furhter towards 5 stars, they don't matter as much since all the furniture, bridges, includes matter WAY more from a points perspective
Guys you can also get bells from interest by putting a good amount of bells in savings and then change the date to 2060 you will get 10k bells and then you would want to change the year to 2000 and just repeat this process in about 20 minutes you will have around 500k bells

Yep I’ve heard the same thing as well! I think you can have some but I’m not sure how much that amount is... but the official companion guide says to get rid of them! I think If you have enough of everything else then a few weeds wouldn’t matter too much in the grand scheme!
No matter how many weeds you have, unlike in previous entries, they do not effect your rating. You could have an island filled with weeds, yet still have the things required for a 5 star, and keep the 5 star. This is great, as they look amazing in forests, graveyards, etc.
That’s interesting! My official animal crossing companion guide says they do impact your star rating, especially in the beginning stages. I’d say that once you get enough over positive elements on your island that they will far outweigh the negative impact of the weeds. Thanks for watching and commenting! 😃

My first two villagers were Pashmina and Antonio. Before I reset my island I had pashmina on my island, she was pretty cool. I never really liked the anteaters but I soon learned to LOVE Antonio. Idk why but I just really like Antonio

My first two characters were Peck and Diva. But I purposely deleted all my data from that world so now I have a new one and my new first two villagers were Hamlet and Mira.
I didn’t get Marshal for the firet two villagers, BUT Marshal ended up being my last villager after using two nook miles tickets! 😅 And I was even looking for Zucker, but I decided to invite Marshal over!
