Missed an important tip: if you didn't loot Imlerith -- go to the bald mountain where you fought him and get an acorn from him that grants 3 skill points upon consumption
I went back immediately after completing that quest with ciri and was amazed that I was actually rewarded. You can loot the gatekeeper in there too before you and ciri split up, and you can also loot the crones as long as you go back immediately but they ain’t got nothing special apparently.
Only being able to do one ng+ per save is disappointing to be honest . Plus you also need to start ng+ at level 60 or higher to have level 100 witcher gear.
I just beat the game the first time with the entire grandmaster ursine armor and weapons and loved it!!! Then I passed more than a half of the new game plus with the same armor and weapons being always under level and playing on a harder difficulty to make it fun and challenging!!! But for me, the best is just to play the game until you build any griffin armor and weapons until you build the grandmaster one!!! It’s simply the best fun you will have and the best mixture of signs and melee combat!!! The Ursine is amazing definitely, but the Griffin is just pure joy!!! I will try my third play through and build the feline or the wolven, to see which is more fun of both!! I can probably try the manticore…. This game is the best ever made by miles ahead!!! As a souls game lover, I thought they were unmatchable, but dang!!! I was so wrong!!! I am so glad to give it a chance to The Witcher 3: Wild Hunt Complete Edition!!! The only downside is that now every other AAA games feel just average; no matter how great they can be!!!
Invest some money in Corvo Bianco. There you can build a planthouse. In the planthouse you can grow winterberry (?), which you can use to craft red mutagens.
@@yongo1304 thank you both for your comments they will definitely help people level up their mutagens as quick as possible! ❤ Red Mutagens are the hardest to come by in the Witcher 3: Wild Hunt having the garden in Corvo Bianco definitely helps
Same thing happened to me and I'm still on my first playthrough. I haven't been leveling it up though because the Grandmaster Griffin 6/6 set is too good with my build
Picking up this game again after completing it back in 2018. Thought I'd go NG+ for the first time. Logging into my old save and I don't have a couple of old swords you mentioned keeping - and no idea to whom I sold them - and really annoyingly I don't have any monster specific mutagen meaning I can't make any decoction. This isn't in NG+ but in my old save which I left at level 54 with all quests seemingly complete.
the only skill you need since the next gen update is delayed recovery, deathmarch is a piece of cake with this one skill if you know how to use it properly and understand the alchemy
Frustrating that we don't have NG++. Kinda ruins my original plans on what to do with a quick short first ng+ skip followed by a full second ng+ to get both odimm gifts I want since I only took money the first time.
I took my Winters Blade out from storage in NG+ but its level 23 and damage is 194-238 compared to my steel Griffin sword at 493-603. Is the scaling broken?
Switched to Bear for NG+ and the Witcher swords are better anyways. I did however get a blade of the bits to keep in my inventory and will get another winters blade eventually when I get to Toissant
_Translator:_ My Winter's Blade and Blade From The Bits does not scale with Geralt's level. I play The Witcher 3 from GOG, version 1.32. PS. Ok, now I see that it only works in 4.0. What steel sword do you recommend for 1.32?
Hello . Nice work; great video. I would like to ask if I finished the game on xbox and if I start a new game plus on Playstation (because the game already supports cross save), will I get the "Munchkin" at the thirty-fifth level step from the start " trophy ?
It's weird, most of the scaling swords don't scale for me. I've tried unequipping and reequipping, even sold a few back to the vendors in hopes I could buy them back at higher levels. There are so many great swords in the game, it's hard to be too upset I suppose.
the swords increase in damage everytime you level up with them in your inventory, if the fist thing you did when you obtained the sword was put it in your stash (as I did), you never gave the sword a chance to scale with you. I hope this is changed soon so you dont have to carry around all the scaling swords with you to make them increase in damage.
@@ouvouwwewosas1038 I didn't stash it for a long, long time, long after it had stopped scaling. The Blade from the Bits is specifically the one I was keeping tabs on.
About gear Witcher Gear from Witcher Schools are the best choise, armor and silver/steel swords when are from the same school give you bonuses that no other wep will, theese bonuses you can see on items where they are in Green Background . Wolven, Griffin, Feline or some of the others with progress in new game and new game + you can manage to upgrade them every 5-10 lvl. But on new game + you have to Re find the recipes again or this time "The Legendary" upgrade. Every one of the 7-th witcher gears has quests in Velen, Novigrad, Skellige and later in Toussaint. Scavenger Hunt Quests.
Because now that the option for the new game plus has opened, after finishing the main story, I am at level fifty-two, and if I start the new game plus, I start at the fifty-second level and "never" reach the thirty-fifth level, which the trophy requires from a higher level I start and after the thirty-fifth level from the start, I will be level eighty-seven, or will the system think that I am "thirty-fifth" ?
Fucking christ, the "scales with character level" is so idiotic. Those two swords were useless even at the moment you're gifted 'em before the update. Which is why there was no reason to keep 'em on Geralt at all times. So I had 'em stashed all this time... because like I said, they were useless. But apparently, after the update, the scaling only works as long as the swords are actually in your inventory(not stashed). So, they're double useless now. Like seriously, I know CDPR are incompetent in a lot of ways, but this a new level of idiotic gaming development. You have an item that is virtually useless(which means the vast majority of players certainly did not use it) getting an upgrade where it increases it's stats relative to a player's progression in order to buff it and make it viable... why on earth would you make it so the new change that's meant to improve the weapon, only works in a specific scenario? Why not just code the item so it automatically scales whether you have it in your inventory or not? Or whether you actually got it or not(as in, the level of the sword should be whatever current level you're at when you acquire it). It's little things like these that makes modern games frustrating. Because any player can obviously find the issue and come up with a concept solution(whether we have the actual skills to execute it or not)... but actual professional developers entirely overlook it, or worse, ignore it and pretend that there's no issue to begin with.
When choosing new game, there's new game + option. For difficulties it depends on what u choose (just for story or Death march), one thing for sure is when u start ng+ the enemies lvl is depends on your current level before starting ng+
Das ist ja ein Problem, was nicht bei mir liegt :) deutsche haben erfahrungsgemäß Probleme damit deutschen englischen Akzent anzuhören. Amerikaner stört das weniger
The level they would have in a normal game + the level you started the NG+ with. So if a ghoul would be level 10 in a normal game, and you start a NG+ with level 52 Geralt, the ghoul will be level 62.
