I denounced DST officially in 2018. Keep spreading the gospel, Lady!!! I know it’s not an easy task, but it is necessary and freeing so many!

These 3 hours felt more like 30 minutes the way ya'll was putting in work, discussing real life BGLO experiences in contradiction with solid scripture.

I am 52 years old and always wanted to be a Delta. Father I that you for this message from these beautiful sisters. This has been a blessing to me. I will be back in school in August and the only thing I need is Jesus.

I left Delta after 40 years of membership. Been out for one year. God called me out, opened my eyes and delivered me. I repented and came out of agreement with the rituals and precepts of the organization. After listening to you, I must take the final step of writing Nationals and letting them know of my decision. This is the best ever!!! Oh how I wish the women and men I know who are "prayer warriors, preachers, evangelist, bishops" who are strong in the fraternity/ sorority life, could recieve this knowledge. When I was recruited...I went all the way until the night before the realness kicked in. I read everything closely...the Minerva's Circle description and practices caused me to seek counsel. We could not get a peace about participation in the rituals. I backed out as gently as I could. Oh my... I got dissed by the line, although some of the ladies were not sure if this was lining up with their Christian beliefs...but they did it anyway. And, I was verbally struck by a member who was highly pissed she vouched for me. I never asked her to do that! But, I could understand her disappointment of me changing my mind...I was a great candidate to enhance the line and the organization. But God said no. And I knew betta...I knew. But, I gotta mind my funky business and leave them alone...I know they don't wanna hear this truth. This is something they will have to accept in their own time. I hope in time. Bold move...you go ladies.

I’m still in high school and was interested in Greek for my colleges year but this denounce video and many more have shown me that I was leading myself to darkness and I’m thankful that the lord has shown me before hand that these organizations are not his work

I'm so glad I fasted and prayed when I attempted to pledge DST. I was rejected by DST but protected by God. After my fast God showed me that I would be rejected but my best friend would make it in. But she forced her way in because her sister is a Delta. Hindsight is 20/20 DST is so not me or any other sorority.

I'm considering denouncing. I knew about 3 months after I became a member that something was not right. I have been a member for 14 years and I have experienced varying degrees of confusion, anxiety and discomfort. For the longest time, I thought it was my laid back nature and that I should just be more assertive or more bold but the past few years, especially as I've been growing in Christ, I know that I'm complete and sorority life is bondage for me. I prayed about this about this years ago, in the 90s, while in college and after. I asked God if this was something I was supposed to do and to lead me. He shut it all down and didn't allow me to do it. I thank God for this, because right after that, He showed me truth about the oaths, secret societies, serving other gods, and idolatry. I thank God that others are starting to see the truth and leave.

I'm a Delta and I am so thankful for this. I honestly don't remember the rituals recited as you indicate. I instead remember the Name of Jesus being used, or maybe I just replaced what was there with His Name; however, I recently attended my niece's and cousins' inductions and as I read the rituals before reciting, I refused to recite. I also recently lost a student who had just pledged Delta...literally just weeks before she died. I know she was saved, but something weird happened at her service that I won't repeat here, but I ask that you all keep in your prayers, my family, especially those who are Greek, including pastors and ministers, and me as I pray about what you've shared here. I certainly see what you're saying as it is plainly written in God's word; however, I just never really applied any of the rituals and vows that I didn't want in my life...which maybe why I'm not financial! Again, thank you for this online ministry. I will be re-watching and studying. Lord, continue to strengthen these, my sisters in Christ, as we all share the gospel. In the name of the Father, Son, and Holy Spirit, I do pray and believe, Amen.

I just renounced my membership in AKA a month ago. I was so active in my chapter that, for years, quite a few of my former sorors had been encouraging me to run for the 1st VP (actually called the 1st anti-basileus) position. This year (2019) also just happens to be the year of my silver anniversary (25 yr membership). So I’m sure you can imagine the shock from the chapter president and some of its membership when I submitted my Letter of Withdrawal to both the chapter and the corporate office. My family & friends also went into shock. My husband even literally said that my decision was “foolish”. Fortunately he quickly apologized. There were things that didn’t sit well with me for quite a while, but I just stopped doing those things that I knew weren’t right and stayed active by justifying how much good we do for our community (which truth be told, is pretty impressive). God had been talking to & dealing with the me though.....telling me to get out. Finally, I started watching the videos of both AKAs and Deltas that have renounced their memberships. Believe it or not, it was this video and the one made by G. Renee that inspired me enough and gave me the courage to do what I knew God was mandating for me to do. Although we were in different sororities, thus had different rituals, pledges, etc., experiences......they’re both basically the same. Also, you all had the most Biblical scriptures and passion about walking true to God’s Word. I completely admire how you have taken your message on the road. I do wish that I lived in your area so that I could join forces with you in this mission of Awakening. God bless you all and know that I’m praying earnestly that you continue to touch and CHANGE LIVES and lift the blinds and veils up from people’s eyes so that they will see, hear, and understand your message and God’s will. Those of you that don’t believe and will make many excuses.....as of just before I renounced......I was a 25 YEAR MEMBER! I know ALL the so-called benefits of being in a Greek organization. At the end of the day...it’s still idolatry, it still perpetuates an ungodly sense of pride and arrogance, and it then to top it off.....we took/take pride in turning it into a generational thing by encouraging our daughters and sons to join. I cringe when I think about how angry God MUST be with us!

This video came at the right time! I pledged two Greek organizations, one Sorority (where I helped to found a chapter) and one business fraternity. Recently I discovered the truth behind the lies of both organizations. I have to say that I found many similarities between all of your experiences and my own. I plan to resign from both organizations this year, following my undergraduate graduation. Oddly enough, it isn't a tough decision because I know that my relationship with my Lord is greater than any relationship on Earth. I just ask for prayer so that I may continue to have the strength to completely detach myself and prayer for direction on how to grow closer to the Lord.

Wow. This was an wonderful video. I tried to warn a relative about joining these secret societies, but they did it anyway. I will continue to pray for them and ask the Lord to open their heart to hear the truth. You all were correct when you said a person's eternity is at stake.

I wanted to pledge Delta years ago but was rejected because I was so nervous during the interview. When I asked for a conference the chapter leader and I talked and she wanted me to pledge the next time they had a rush. I never went back and my mom and I talked about it and she said that is not you. I said mom you pledge Zeta and she said I know but I left it there when I left college. She told me not to pledge anything except a donation..Jesus rest my mom soul Amen!!!

Thank you for speaking truth and exposing these lies. I recently spoke out and was cursed out, character attacked, called a judgemental, over zealous religious prick that's uneducated as these sororities and were started for black unity and comminity service and I needed to do my research.

Paper members are referred to as "skaters" because they rolled into the organization instead of going through the traditional "process". However, I am so overjoyed that the Lord snatched you ladies out and there are many to follow your lead. I too was a student at Rutgers University in the late 80's and almost pledged DST but God used my mother to school me and I decided not to pledge. After I became a Christian and begin studying the Word of God (Holy Bible) Basic, Instructions, Before, Leaving, Earth/BIBLE, and learned that as Christians we are not to become involve in secret societies, not make allegiances to anything and/or anyone and many other scriptures to substantiate the warnings of secret society involvement.

I loss my father in Feb. and since then I have been looking for something to fill the void. He was my biggest cheerleader. I almost went to RUSH but in search of the history of the org I came across some teaching. I thank God for loving me enough to allow me to see these stories. I knew I would get and had become prideful immediately. I had to repent because I realized that i had already become pregnant with the spirit and crossing would have been the birth. I thank God for using you! This was one of the videos that saved my soul.

I praise God for you all's boldness in Christ and God giving you all the strength and tenacity to leave. I dropped line when I was in college because something didn't seem right. I had an headache every day I was on line, I finally talk to one of the girls on line and told her I was going to drop. As soon as I did it I had such a major release on my spirit and my headache just vanished. Now I did pledge a Christian sorority but I got out of that with only a year into it. All I can say is those are nothing but a front as well. Everyone I did know in that sorority cut me off, which I am okay with. I repented and accepted the fact that I have known for the longest, that when God created me, He created me to stand out.

Amen! I pledged DST back in '85. I was active for about a year in the 80's and I could never get connected after I left my chapter due to financial reasons. I have been inactive for years and I've tried to get connected recently just to participate in public service. God operates within me where if I don't physically move to do a thing, I then realize that the spirit of God is keeping me from a thing. I asked God to reveal what it was about Delta I needed to know and He began to reveal the truth about sororities and fraternities. My eyes are opened. I have denounced DST and will follow up with nationals to disconnect. ; )

Praise God for you sisters. I am so joyful that you all were able to see and what you are doing now. My wife is an AKA and I have been telling her for years she needs to denounce that mess. And everything you have been saying, just confirmed what I have been telling her all along. And one of the biggest scapegoats they use is, "It is founded on Christian principles" And I am like, no, it is founded on Freemasonry. She will choose that organization over our own marriage and anything and anyone.

This information was sooooo extremely informative and I watched until the very end. I do not or have ever joined, but have a friend and her daughter that belong to the Delta’s and she have the paddles of all sides, elephants of all sides they wear the colors and are seen to be proud to be a part of. I stumbled up on this video in pursuit of finding information regarding masons and eastern stars and wondering if I am tied to a generational curse because I am now a part of a deliverance ministry.

I was inducted into the PTK (Phi Theta Kappa) National Honor Society. The only "ritual" I remember was the induction ceremony where we did have to raise our right hand and repeat something I can't even remember, and then we each lit a candle. Outside of this, there were never any parties, memorabilia, etc. However, two things have been sitting heavily on my heart. #1 - PTK has Minerva on its emblem #2 - At the induction ceremony I could not shake this intense feeling of gloom. Even though being invited into PTK is based soley on one's academic GPA, I wasn't even happy for my accomplishment. That being said, I wonder if PTK is something I should renounce even though it is not a sorority or a secret society. What do you ladies think?

Wow, I am in a greek letter organization but only joined as a bucket list item it was a part of my professional career, I have asked GOD to reveal it to me, once he has fully I will come out. Thank you for your courage.

Thank you all for creating this video. I pledged AKA in 1994 and have not been active since. I went into it not really knowing what to expect or what it was really about. During initiation, there were things that took place like vows and oaths to the “moving spirit” of Ethel Hedgeman Lyle and then the night we were “baptized” when our faces were washed. During the whole process I kept thinking this isn’t right. This is not of God. I remember when the Basileus asked me questions and I had to repeat after her and say I do, I was thinking in my mind “oh no I don’t”. I wanted to leave but struggled and wrestled within with thoughts of “it’s just what it takes to get in”. It’ll be over soon. Just say it. It’ll be over soon. A few weeks later, it was summer break and I was transferring school to complete my engineering degree. So I never got a chance to be active where I pledged and then God fixed it where I couldn’t be active after I transferred. I still loved my LS’s and AKA. Longing to be a part. But God had intervened and fixed it so every time I tried to pay dues or join a grad chapter I ran into roadblock after roadblock. I kind of knew why but I still wasn’t getting it. I kept looking at the good the sorority does and not the witchcraft and ungodliness it engages in to obtain members. I kept thinking about my admiration for the founders and the blacks of that time and their courage to persevere and create something to bond our people together by establishing these organizations. Fast forward 26 years and I try once more to reactivate with no success. I’ve reconnected with some of my LS’s and Sorors from my undergrad chapter. I get emails and texts about meeting to celebrate our AKAversary. But I’m too embarrassed to say I’m not active. Then this morning God wakes me up at 3:30am and I start googling my sorority for an unknown reason. No particular reason. Then I see videos like this one about denouncing. So much of what I felt I identify with from ladies like you. I understand now why “God blocked it. He wouldn’t let it be so.” It’s been 26 years but I know what I must do. Accept God’s will for my life and let it go. Denounce and once and for all let it go. Thank you all for sharing. It has truly been an inspiration and well worth it. God bless.

This was such a blessing. I have submitted my formal letter to withdraw from membership in Delta because the Lord has been dealing with me on this for quite sometime. I am still awaiting confirmation that I am legally “free” from DST but God is doing a wonderful work!!! This is so encouraging! I would love to be apart of any groups with brothers and sisters in Christ who are like-minded. May God continue to bless and keep all of you!

How do yu tell family members or friends about this when you were never apart of the organization. They won't believe me. They will say I'm speaking about something I know nothing about.

The rabbit hole goes deep on this one, for people especially believers. We cannot be ignorant of the devices used and we must keep on the full armor at all times. I have heard Deliverance ministries talk extensively about legality. People don't know how serious it is, dealing with spiritual matters in the heavens - it becomes a legal matter in spirit and then in the physical, when a believer pledges or makes an oath kneels before an altar, forms covenants. These are things that God forbids and he mean it. It's not a game for His children to play with at all. I believe is synonymous with rebellion, making to walk through the fire, sacrificng neophytes for foreign deities. That second thought (hindsight) or that gut feeling (intuition) that was telling all of us at the time something's wrong here or don't do that we should have listened to. I think what you ladies as well as other former members are doing is wonderful and it's something that needs to be done. Don't let them silence you or make you be ashamed you are doing a good work.

I’m glad I’m researching this stuff about the sorority particularly delta because a family member of mine was in it and I think she was in it when she passed in 2015; she was deeply involve in church, I’m afraid that she never denounced it😔 I remember when I was 12 that my mom warned her about that organization and what y’all said about the delta members at the wedding, it’s true because they surrounded the family member of mine and sang that sweetheart song which was in 2004 and she divorced in 2007; I just knew that association with delta had something to do with her demise of the marriage because the spirit behind it

I had a girlfriend who was a Delta. She became tremendously evil towards me over her devotion to Delta Sigma Theta inc. No organization should ever turn someone against their family or loved ones. Women follow after the will of God, not an Idolatrous organization🙏💯

2:48:12 for those who want a reason other than religion...(it is hard bcs without God you are in the darkness but..) but ok...people must realise that these greek organizations pretend to be just harmless fellowships but are NOT. They are religions in disguise themselves. They have weird prayers, weird ceremonies, secrecies...they secretly worship ancient greek dieties... they even have a ceremony over your dead body how crazy is that?if you don't want any religion why would you want to be associated with any of this weird stuff? These soririties and fraternities have one face on the outside, but have a hidden face. Anything honest must be totally transparent. These sororities are clearly not. Also it is an absolute lie that you need those to have a good job or get good friends...if you work hard and get your degree there is no reason that you won't get a good job

Question 🙋🏽‍♀️: What do you do when your spouse has been in Greek for over ten years? I had been thinking about pledging myself and my daughter just pledged this spring literally. This is all tough as I am really waking up to this and sharing with them my findings so there is restriction and strongholds. I am thinking about this because I am connected with my spouse under covenant what does that mean because we are technically as one. He did tell me he is not going to walk away from it. What should you do if your church does not educate their flock, and allow membership into these things? I was asked by my roommates, AKA & DST, but declined. I was also approached by my neighbor and family about Eastern Star. It doesn't make sense. How could this have been allowed for so long in our churches? Keep shining the light, sisters!

I know people who try to advocate manifesting things you want. by Writing down things you want and of course speaking things you want in existence. So is that specifically wrong?
