I noticed that my problem with me is not jst to speak with myself . I tried but i found out that am sticking in my basic Vocabulary , same level cuz whenever i speak i struggle to come up with the proper word at that time
What might help you is more immersion - consume more content in English and every time you hear an interesting word or phrase you wanna use - write it down, learn it and try to use it!
You can also for example try to come up with some very specific topics and challenge yourself to speak only about one of them - it is gonna to help you with using more specific vocab and so on
Thanks for sharing the challenges you face. keep up the consistency and dedicate time to practice and you will enhance your skills every day! Congrats on your efforts! ❤️
Currently, i also use this method to learn English. GPT is one of useful tools to connect English when don't have any partners or enviroment to speak one
Another great podcast lesson ❤ Thanks Izzy & Ksenia. I learned a bunch of new words & expressions like fit into sth, over the course of, to haunt, to keep your finger on the pulse with sth, a highlight, to hurry, to align, aspiring, to save for posterity, slimy, to cram, bombastic, kaboom, baggage, to outperform, plein-air, greenery, therapeutic 😊 I actually practice speaking with the podcast lesson itself. But I practice mostly on the app because you can read the transcript there. It is immensely helpful for getting used to the musicality of the language or their way of speaking. What I do is I listen to the same episode a couple of times & learn the difficult vocabulary. So at the end of the week I have an idea of what the podcast is about & the hosts' way of speaking. That's when I practice mimicing or shadowing. It's actually like a song. When you listen to it more often, you just get used to it & you can sing along. And when you do all these things you can watch the RU-vid video again & enjoy the conversation to the fullest. These podcasts are really helpful when it comes to learning the language with some interesting topics. The hosts use nice vocabulary & expressions. I listened to 32 podcasts over the course of 8 months on the app. My listening skills have been skyrocketed.
I think the way you practice speaking english was very time consuming. Just do it in chunked. You can`t remember all of that sentences in 1 podcast and If you can`t use it in your own words. I will surely assure you will deffinitely forget it.
Thank you so much for this podcast. I mostly practice speaking English by myself rather than practicing with others. I have all five tips helpful and even bonus tips. I have already followed some exercises from the five exercise.
