I witnessed this in Medjugorje in 2004 Thing that blew my mind outside of what I was seeing was how long I could stare directly at it for, the whole thing lasted around 14 mins to approximate, but every few mins I would look away and look at something on land and my vision never once blurred, the sun was spinning, turning I dont know how many different colours, but they were all stunning, and then the sun does like a little for want of a better description a dance, and feels like it's coming closer then goes back It's honestly one of the most beautiful things I will ever see in my life and extremely fortunate to have done so ❤️

I met a Portuguese man in Australia in 2022 and His Grandfather was present at the Cova and saw the sun it was very unusual because it was a cold grey dull lashing rain day all were very wet and the ground was muck after the sun stopped everyone was clean and dry.
I heard a priest once say that he spoke to a physicist who said, in natural circumstances, the amount of energy to dry that area (with all the grass, mud, clothes, etc.) instantaneously would have killed everyone! It is another miracle!

My father who was in England at the time this happened, told me that it was visible there. He saw the sun descending toward the earth, it got very close and then stopped and ascended into the sky again.

And a multitude was sitting around Him; and they said to Him, “Look, Your mother and Your brothers are outside seeking You.” But He answered them, saying, “Who is My mother, or My brothers?” And He looked around in a circle at those who sat about Him, and said, “Here are My mother and My brothers! For whoever does the will of God is My brother and My sister and mother.” That's not a very flattering expression on Jesus part towards His mother.

There was a movie produced in 1952 called " the Miracle of our Lady of Fatima" this clip showed many tidbits from that movie. I saw it in the theatre in 1958 when we had a Catholic day off and mother took the day off work as well. Years later in the early 1960's it was shown on Los Angeles television channel 9' movie theatre. I've tried to get a tape of this inspirational movie but can't find one.

@@glenng You need to do more research. Several comments were made by non-believers and they also confirm what others at the Cova and in nearby towns saw. Most of the newspaper photographers and reporters were there to discredit the 3 Fatima children and the Church.
Look at the picture of the people looking up at the sun. Look at their shoes and clothes and the ground. Everything is dry! Their clothes and shoes are not just dry! They are clean! That is another miracle when you consider that all those people had walked through puddles and mud to get to the Cova.

In the prayer Hail Mary , she is blessed among woman. Mary was accented into Heaven and no other woman has ever done that , so I see no issue with the fact she is favored by God.

If one listens closely during Mass, everything is asked “Through Christ our Lord”. There is nothing wrong with this; James 5:16 says “The prayer of a righteous man has great power in its effects” and we are told to “pray for one another.” With this in mind, how greater are the prayers of Mary and Saints, particularly Mary, who is most blessed among women. All Christians should have an intimate relationship with Jesus but also be united with the other members of the Body of Christ in prayer.

There is no doubt this was a miracle as was forecast by Our Lady to the 3 little saints. It occurred at the exact time & place nominated and witnessed by thousands. Sadly people of today forget that this miracle occurred so that we may see the Truth. Time to re member that Jesus was the visible sign of the invisible God and that Mary was the living Tabernacle of the Word Incarnate. I am really contemplating about this apparition. It's TRUE that the Blessed Virgin that appeared in Fatima performed miracles to the three seers as SHE also did it on ME on 2003 in Cotabato, Mindanao, Philippines. I am also contemplating when St. Gabriel the Archangel gave the Message of ALLAH to Prophet Muhammad, the SUN had also a role during the time of Revelation which was written in the HolyQuran. Since I joined in Islam, I wondered why that I can looked at the Sun directly even without an eyeglasses...

There are no UFO'S. This miracle came from God who created the universe. God has power over the universe and nature. Just as Jesus calmed the sea when his apostles thought the storm would sink them. Just as Jesus cured the sick and raised the dead.
It's not a UFO, it is the power of God. I saw the sun spin closer to the earth in Medujorge in 1986. It was Holy Ground. I was 26 years old and learned the Rosary and prayed for hours. It was peaceful and joyous. Mary was still appearing to the visionaries in a building by the Church. When Mary appeared inside to the visionaries, a light on the outside of the building would turn on. To me, a bigger miracle, was that the loud birds singing, would always stop a moment before the outside light flicked on. Nature was responding to the supernatural presence of Mary. No one can control that. .

I think I recall hearing the argument that 70k people all suffered some visual abnormality from looking at the sun. I guess this was the only time in history someone has looked at the sun and started seeing things to the point of panic. Much less 70k all doing the same thing.

bro i fucking saw the same fucking thing one year in early 2000's with 3 friends, in Heathridge suburb, west australia (perth). we were sitting in a tree. The sun was 25-40% bigger and had colors dancing across its surface very vividly like oil, including blues, reds, blacks primarilly. You could stare completely at it without squinting. its lasted around 10-15min between 5pm-6pm (think closer to 5pm) . Noone else knows what im talking about. I think it was some sort of atmosphere perfect viewing angel for some natural phenomenon. I could probably draw/illistrate what i saw as it was very vivid and we all made sure we saw the same thing at the time.

Christ came into our sinful world, so why should he not have been born by a sinful mother? Nowhere it is written that Mary had been born without sin. But in many places of the Bible we read that ALL humans sinned, all without any exception. To say that Mary was no exception does not degrade her. She is a great example of true faith, like Noah, like Abraham. But the catholic and (even worse) the orthodox churches made of her a copy of Christ. I have been catholic for 60 years before God opened my eyes for the true gospel. Today I am happy to be Protestant.
