@@Jay_cat_lover the manga is available in mangakalot but it is far behind from the anime. The manga hasn't even introduced the twins; that's how far behind the manga is. I highly encouraged to read the LN instead.

She's definitely a badass no matter how orthodox her character is. Just one of the Maple Tree's very powerful guild members. Maple may not have been able to recruit many players, but all of them are quite studly. Even Flame Emperors and First of the Sword only have about 4 or 5 tough players each.

Why does everyone believe she's a samurai? She looks and acts more like a ninja to me. I don't see many samurai moving long distances in their fights, ninja are about moving quickly to and from their targets, which is shown to be more Kasumi's style and skills I don't remember seeing her use any ijitsu(?) which is a strong strength of samurai fighting techniques I wonder if there's enough data to do one of these for Iz

If you really analyze the Maple Tree, their guild is extremely well-balanced. Maple as the Vanguard/Tank, Sally as the Scout/Assassin, Yui and May as the Siege Machines (Players ofc), Kasumi as the Fighter/Brawler, Kuromu as the Rear Guard, Kanade as the Long-Range fire support and Iz as the Utility support.

Some more fact (and spoiler, maybe): 1. Kasumi name may be come from "kasumi no tachi". Don't ask me what "kasumi no tachi" is bacause i have zero knowledge about this. Here is link if you want to know more about it: www.akban.org/wiki/Kasumi_no_tachi,_TSKSR 2. When the 4th layer release, her unique come out. That is her love for Japanese stuff which lead her to that bewitched sword. The author refer all member of Maple Tree has their own unique by the way. Can you guess what they are?? 3. In the first encounter with Sally (the anime skip this by the way), she use Beginner of Sword * Void and Last of Sword * Oborozuki simultaneously (which is her best strength in this point in time) but Sally can still dodge all of her attack. Which lead to the best quote (in my opinion) about Sally: "It not like she (Sally) dodge the sword, but the sword dodge her instead". Later on, Kasumi will have a prediction-type skill which lead her see the hit beforehand (man so irony). You can see their fight in manga chap 14.

Number three is probably due to keep the mystique about her abit. It Since they made her Void ability seem like her trump card in her battle with Shin. And it would kinda take away from the character if she had show it off when she did in the manga, still lose about to be killed by Sally before Maple bumbled her way into trapping the trio in that dungeon.
