Shout out from WNC I live in the foothills of the Blue Ridge Mountains. Visit Pigeon Forge, Great Smokies , Townsend, most every year love the area. Camped in Wears Valley past two years .We have a small wood heater in the basement and a wood burning pool heater so I cut my share of wood. Hope your lady hand heal fast. Enjoyed the video.
Yes we live in a beautiful place - WNC is also a beautiful mountain area. Great idea on the wood burning pool heater. Sarah is doing well. Finger nail is still black but feeling better. Thanks for watching!
Hello , New subscriber here . Just found your channel. Hope Mrs Sara's finger gets better soon. I got mine smashed in the lag splitter last year so I feel her pain.
Heating with wood warms you up about 5-6 times. Got wife a pair of leather gloves for Christmas stocking stuffer. She can use them for toting firewood. Lol! She loves the house heated by wood burning stove.
@@OUCHMountain we don’t really live in cold weather. Central Alabama. Gets too low 20’s/teens rarely. But we have a fire going most nights during winter just to have one. May have windows open too.
You had a better reaction then I did... same finger on my right hand but was a 18 foot around 22inch diameter against my saw.. pulled my hand away but got bit.. the 500i got crushed causing over 600 in damage .. been 3 months and still waiting on one part from Germany so I can get my saw back...
Luckily the damage (minor) was just to me and not our equipment. My finger is much better - and I'm not battling supply chain issues for a part to arrive from Germany :). Hope your part arrives soon. Thanks for watching!
Our outdoor wood stove can take chunks up to about 30" long, so we cut most of our firewood in the 24"-28" range - which means less splitting and handling - although they are heavier to pick up. Thank you for watching!
