You can get carpet off-cuts at really good prices, large enoigh for a room. You probably know that already. Frugal things I’ve done: no spend week (apart from groceries) and cooked free apples from the garden to use as apple puree or in deserts.
Love the dresses! One of my friends brought her small daughter on the school run one day and she (daughter) had a beautiful dress on…mum said she found a large quantity of them in the charity shop one day and bought them for about $1 or 2 each and so she bought a quantity and that’s what her daughter could wear until she outgrew them!
We have three cats that leave the rugs alone, but they like to claw the couch and a wicker bench. Im getting ready to sew slip covers for the couches. It drives me crazy but we love the kitties.
Five frugal things this week: •continuing to eat daily the apples people give us, even though I’m feeling October apple exhaustion. • covering the garden against frost so it keeps producing •waiting until dishwashing liquid (washing up liquid) was on offer to buy any •making spaghetti sauce from canned tomatoes from the garden instead of going for the convenience of premade sauce. And my son said it was delicious, so bonus. •made a plan to go to a free concert
I’d use electric clippers so I couldn’t cut the dog…just make sure he’s very clean, as it’s much easier..I have horses and they take much longer to clip!
Fit flops are so comfy and quite costly. I'd buy those in a minute. I have three pairs of fabric ballerina flats and they can be hand washed. All the dresses are so pretty. Hope you can keep one for yourself!
Hi Jane I’m loving your clothes and would like to find you on vinted I’m interested in buying some of the dresses you have shown. Thank you for sharing 😊
The silk cover-up is gorgeous. Is there possibly some piece of clothing you own that has buttons that will work on it? I do some button transplants from a worn-out item to a good one missing buttons, and it works out well.
Hi Jane, great video as always, have the cats got plenty of scratch things, scratch posts etc? We bought some extra ones recently and our cat scratches the carpets a lot less! Xx
Hi Jane you always brighten up our Sunday ❤lovely video I love to see what you get up to. So I gave up with my diamond painting I now do puzzles of an evening and I love it. I’m trying to calm my mind and keep my hands busy - idle hands keep buying on Vinted 😂 Big hugs x
Hi Jane, have you got scratching posts for your cats? We’ve found that our five cats leave the carpets alone since we got them scratching posts. Just a thought x
Do they have carpet squares that fit together to look like regular wall to wall carpeting? They are easier to replace a single piece or a few when the cats ruin it versus replacing the entire room of carpet.
I love your content ❤ currently binge watching your videos. I love anything frugal, second hand or more eco-friendly! Do you have any advice for someone thinking of starting a reselling business on Ebay? ❤
Hi, is it due to the texture of the carpet? My cats never scratch the carpet, but they have had a go at the runner in the entrance hall which is a sort of basket weave, and not fluffy as carpet tends to be
@@coraclouden2506 possibly, as they love the thin rug downstairs too. But they scratched our older thicker carpets at the last house so it’s hard to be sure
Ha ha Jane you’ve made my mind up for me! I will not be getting a cat 😂. I had 3 up until a few years ago all lived to ripe old ages and weren’t rippers infact they were angels, but never say never and you’ve made the decision for me 😂😂😂. I love the round decoration behind you of the bearded man. It’s lovely - he looks interesting 😊 Anyway, lovely video as always thanks xxx
