The new MK2 Impact arrives and is out on my rabbit permission for the first time. I've paired it with my ATN X-Sight 4K and the JSB Hades pellets that still perform just as well in the new gun. No pigeons were harmed in the making of this video! (But some rabbits didn't do very well)

Same rifle in 35cal comes out in November. I preordered and canceled later. I already have an older Impact in 30 . I want the FX dreamline shorty with collapsible stock. kinda like a baby impact. lol

Yes that’s the Dreamline Tactical, I’d like the Tactical Kit for mine that adds the Picatinny scope rail and adjustable stock. The 0.35 cal would be a beast! That’s 9mm

Have you seen Bob_O new video he had a older guy hit a target at 311 yards with his MK II Impact .22 using 40gr slugs.Its at the end of the video they don't show the actual target just him ranging it.The FX Impact is a awesome gun.

@@fathertimencUSA Have not seen that one. I changed out my stock 30cal smooth X with a twist X barrel and it works ok with slugs. I don't hunt past 50yds here in Florida jungle cuz my Impact is only shooting 45gr pellets around 850 & 47.5gr slugs around 830 for 72fps.

I have my 177 impact set at 30 yards and find very little change at 40,like you said though ,cean kills at the distance you set.

Hi. Great video. It’s gonna be hard to resist the MK 2 now you’ve loaded this video mate! I’m struggling to find the Ballistic Coefficient for the .22 hades pellet. What value have you used for your XSight 4K Pro please? Do you use G1 in the absence of the GA ? Many thanks

Then don’t resist! Treat yourself, say I said it’s ok 👍 I’ve not found the BC for them yet so I’ve used the one for JSB Jumbo Exacts (0.035) and the G1 and it works well enough at Airgun ranges I’ve found. I wish they’d put the GA in an update as a lot of Airgun shooters use the X-Sight. Thanks for watching!

Looks like you're on target. Can you please give me a parts breakdown of your FX. ie... moderator, grips, barrel....... your riffle seems to be super smooth and very Quiet. Looking forward to getting one with the 35 cal. Option. Happy hunting.

Hi mate my Impact is a 500mm Barrel 0.22 sub 12ftlbs UK spec. The grip/cheekpiece/buttstock in blue laminate were made for the original owner of my first Impact, a Mk1, by a custom stock maker. The carbon shroud is by AirFective tuning, a link to them is in the description below the video 👍

Thanks Adam, it’s one of the main reasons I started the channel to show that you don’t need 50ftlbs and be shooting from 100 yards away to get a decent bag. All my guns are sub 12 as I don’t have an FAC. My scope is an ATN X-Sight 4K 5-20 which makes it easy to record the shooting. Thanks for watching 👍

Thanks for the sub mate good to have you on board! It can be a complicated beast at first but once you get your head round it it’s a great scope, pricey though at £850-£950 although you can pick them up cheaper on eBay

Can one use a regular rifle scope on a PCP rifle like the Impact? Reason I ask I am going to be getting an impact and have some high end Leupold scopes on some of my 22 Magnum rifles I would like to use. Great video here, wish I had never sold my last FX PCP Which was an FX Royale 400. Miss it and will be getting an impact next. Thanks in advance.

Yes mate you can use any scope with it you just need high picatinny mounts

It’s an excellent gun, but I changed my Dreamline cylinder to a carbon bottle so I decided to sell it as I’d basically created another impact! If I was buying one now I’d get the compact version it looks a really handy gun and still gives 250 plus shots in sub 12

@@fredbaker3822 Yes it’s sub 12, it was built as a 0.20 cal from the factory you can’t easily change calibres on these guns like an FX but I bought it because I’m a big fan of 0.20 cal

I use a Picatinny bipod mounted on a Picatinny extender. Thanks Nice please forward this message to ATN company because we & others peoples struggle to forward this message to any member/Dealer of ATN company use any possible way that company need to improve the ATN & work on updated version of ATN that work without using extra Rangefinder/ABL for perfect point of impact. Also need to merge the ABL under the ATN to work easy & no need use of extra Rangefinder for hunting the company do this work to Install the ABL Technology under the ATN in one package Thanks.

Curious why you settled on the .22? Wouldn't the .25 or .30 be better for pest control? Might be getting the Impact and would like to hear your thoughts on the caliber size.

samik83 In the UK I’d need a firearm certificate for those calibres, the 0.22 is under 12ftlbs so doesn’t need one. I’m trying to show with my videos that you don’t need 50ftlbs or to shoot from 100 yards away to control pest species. I have a friend who has a 0.25 calibre Impact and can group under 2cm at 100 yards with it. Very accurate in any calibre I suppose it’s personal choice really, and ammunition costs!

I got it at a price I couldn’t refuse, £1475 from Countryway Gun Shop in Essex. Also I was looking at buying the upgrade kit with the new magazine system for my Mk1 which would have been about £150, so what I’d have spent on that added to what I sold my Mk1 for, getting a brand new gun with a years warranty made my mind up

Looks like you're shooting in a park and across the road. Isnt that dangerous and illegal? If you want to hunt, at least go into the woods or forest. Not shoot in the park.

If I was shooting across a road or in a park then yes it would be dangerous and illegal, but it’s private land that used to be a wartime airfield, the “road” is an old disused runway. In the UK there is no “public” land, everywhere is owned by someone that you have to get authority to shoot from or it’s armed trespass. I can assure you I have been asked by the landowner to control the rabbits and have written permission. Thanks for watching
