I dont see why some people dont think marty is op, his root auto does more than half of someones hp his ult does more that half of someones hp and he cant be damaged in it. Not to mention if you can hit the auto because of minions his 1 can also proc the root which also clears the whole wave for you. his 3 is good if used right, he pretty much has no flaws.
Can we get video with you trying to get as much dmg as possible with Merlins passive? It procs items and with tablet and other things it can do high amount of dmg (Tablet, poli, soulgem, soulreaver, that ring that deals dmg of enemy %hp)
But sam, because you’re a high level dueler you can instantly understand what makes Marty such a good pick for duel and what in his kit and itemization makes him so strong. Joe schmoe who’s playing Marty for the first time and doesn’t grasp his strengths and weaknesses is going to take a little longer to adapt him to this mode
I did some math around the time the patch dropped: In terms of damage, Bloodforge is better than Trans in nearly every situation. You get the full benefit of the power 4-5 waves earlier, the AS and MS are just better stats. Trans is only really good right now if you need CDR and mana asap. That said, Bloodforge is *worse* than Devos Gauntlet in most situations. 15 pen just makes so much extra damage. Edit: Going to go redo my testing to get exact numbers real quick. Edit 2:Testing done. Level 6 vs odin bot on Rama with no other items and base protections. Devos stacked 102.9 dps, 1.05 as, 98 per hit. unstacked 65.1 dps, 1.05 as, 62 per hit. Trans stacked 98.7 dps, 1.05 as, 94 per hit. unstacked 80.85 dps, 1.05 as, 77 per hit. Bloodforge 103.74 dps, 1.14 as, 91 per hit. Level 12 with dom vs odin Devos 194.79 dps, 1.29 as, 151 per hit. Trans 193.5 dps, 1.29 as, 150 per hit. Bloodforge 191.82 dps, 1.38 as, 139 per hit. Level 20 with Dom, Berserk, Qins, Gryphon Wing, Toxic Blade. AS tracked with max toxic stacks. Devos 747.5 dsp, 2.5as, 233/68 per hit/qins Trans 732.5 dps, 2.5as, 231/62 per hit/qins Bloodforge 690 dps, 2.5 as, 214/62 per hit/qins It's worth noting that at level 20, your as with out Toxic blade for Devos/Trans is 2.3. With Bloodforge, its 2.4. The 10% AS on it is wasted very quickly. Especially if you have an atack steroid like on Rama. Over all, the 10% As is not nearly as effective as one might think. The best damage comes from Devos Gauntlet, by a country mile. Trans ha a place if you need CD, and Bloodforge has the xfactor of move speed. But over all, I think Devos is just better in the long run. You hit harder and get more life steal, letting you edge out the other guy in knock down fights. As with my original post, I thought Trans was worse than Bloodforge. And I maintain that it is on *most* auto attack gods for most of the game. But because the DPS is close, if you are not an Auto Attack focused god, Trans is the better option.
@@charlessmith8131 I understand that idea, but please re-read my post now that I've actually gone and done the numbers. I think the MS is strong, but the AS is pitiful, and over all, the damage is quickly outshined by Devos and Trans both.

Easiest to mute everyone immeditely when things get toxic, pretend they are actual bots and focus on playing more careful and selfish to not get baited by their shitty plays.
