I work for a PMS which manages few thousand crores in Equity investment and would like to call out this guy. Lot of my friends share his videos in whatapp groups and sometimes I watch it. Most of the time, I find it ALMOST right but not right. Given that his audience is mostly beginners, it makes sense for them however, this is oversimplification, bit more than it has to be. Plus, live investing videos although genuine, the reasons only partially correct and ignores key details that a person investing in those stocks should know. Wouldn't critic him more, he is doing a good job, but ppl have to start listening to CIOs or Fund Managers and not only influencers or course providers
Hey man cool it with your recommendations. Especially with the recession coming, stocks are bound to go down for some more months, maybe upto a year. I guess almost 8/10 of your recommendations have flopped, and you just highlight the 2 that have succeeded. And you don't even mention crypto or vauld anymore. I feel it's best to keep amount locked in FD-gold-bonds for atleast a year for preserving capital. And just make a watch list of stocks to invest in.

i hvae already been invnesting in both dmart and bajaj finance for about an year and have put more this month, but since i am a very very small investor, my ivtestment is very less close to maybe 30-40k. But i am very much confused if i should wait a bit more to decrease the stock values a bit more.

All Indian stocks discussed are top quality and for long term it doesn't matter if you enter now or wait...esp Kotak at current levels. But having said that they all may fall more if the overall markets corrects....so no harm waiting a bit longer or adding slowly with every subsequent fall instead of lumpsum at current levels.
Bajaj finance : on weekly chart Bajaj finance has positive divergence vis a vis 5 December and last 3 weeks. If this plays out stock can go up to 6700. Mind that divergence formed 2 weeks back and yet to play out. In such cases it is not uncommon for share to lose more ground before upside plays out.
Stop using the word discount for a correction. Discount implies that you are getting a lower price than fair value. The current price is what is deemed fair by the buyers and sellers in the market. It's not actually a discount.

Yes. As mentioned in above comment if you have around 25,000 to invest, invest in gold stocks irrespective of prices rather than those 500 ish or 300 ish stocks. Because in the end, you are gonna get return on amount invested not on number of stocks. Price of stocks should not be a concern while buying a stock. While starting the stock market journey, even I did the same mistake but I realised and corrected it on time. So personal experience.

I am not sure why Akshat showed online stock investing after this long, but, I started to feel that it was expected everyone shall join the community channel. @@rajivsharma28 No doubt HDFC bank is a great stock to invest it but what you are suggesting is not possible within 2 years, it might take more than 5 years for HDFC bank stock to double. What you are suggesting right now is basically for HDFC bank stock to double in next 2 years, meaning the market cap of HDFC bank will also double in next two years which will go from 9 Lakh crore to almost 16-17 lakh crore, which is next to impossible. And also don't forget that HDFC bank and HDFC are going to merge, so the market cap of the combined entity would be huge and doubling from that in the next 2 years would be impossible. Would take more than 5 years for the stock to double from here.

Interpreting financial statements is not so hard but checking if they've been manipulated to look more attractive is rather difficult. So just drawing financial statements from a company's site might be of no use :/
Hi Mridul, unless you are a full time investor, don't bother about authenticity of financial statements. if at all company are cooking their books there will be signs which you can catch on to, you'll have to keep tabs on new regarding stock in which you've invested. there will be chitter chatter much before the market factors the news into it's price.

@@mriduljoshi8705 I think you are over thinking.. Whilst what you say is true in some cases where with the connivance of the auditors and top management of the company, the books do get cooked.. So if you want to avoid even this risk, then better to take the mutual fund route wherein your investments gets spread across a basket of companies and the periodical churning takes care of disposing off the unwanted investee companies

Kotak bank , I prefer to start buying at 1710. The sizeable upper wick in weekly candle suggest weakness in stock price. It is intriguing that this candle appears at Bollinger band bottom with bands widening. Generally the reliability is higher when the large upper wick candle is at uptrend pattern.
