Recently bought some recommended stocks and now they are just penny stocks. There seems to be more negative portfolios in the last 3rd half of 2024 with markets tumbling, soaring inflation, and banks going out of business. My concern is how can the rapid interest-rate hike be of favor to a value investor, or is it better avoiding stocks for a while?

Just ''buy the dip'' man. In the long term it will payoff. High interest rates usually mean lower stock prices, however investors should be cautious of the bull run, its best you connect with a well-qualified adviser to meet your growth goals and avoid blunder

The truth is that this is really not as difficult as many people presume it to be. It requires a certain level of diligence, no doubt, which is something ordinary investors lack, and so a financial advisor often comes in very handy. - Well, there are a few out there who know what they are doing. I tried a few in the past years, but I’ve been with ‘’Colleen Rose Mccaffery” for the last five years or so, and her returns have been pretty much amazing.

But just to be clear, I would once again like to highlight that currently whoever is investing in jio is really betting on the backing or reputation of reliance industries in the hope that jio would do well, because jio is still new and yet to prove their business model. And yes it is also a long term play.

Actually it came as a shock.. the q4 results were excellent but the stock fell today after management’s guidance today - JLR ebitda margin guidance is flat for yoy, demand in H1 will be weak so basically wanted to say growth expectation is low as of now. So I dont want to rush into it would analyse more.

Jio Financials may be a long term bet for now its a punty pick. Generally and historically it feels the stock to avoid as it is purely based on hype. But maybe worth if it is discounted another 10-15%

You have to study more at micro level of TATA motors.. I dont think it can continue succes, as it's revenue from passenger vehicles are low when compared. And management have no hope in coming year also. How much time their jaguar landrover segment can contribute.. I don't think TATA MOTORS a great bet for longterm, where we have many promising stocks there to choose

Hello dear, I did not give stock names to invest, I talked about 5 stocks that are currently showing correction and requested viewers to add them in their watchlist and study them properly. Clearly this is not advisory. I shared how I analyse stocks and my personal views on why am I buying the dip which is for educational purpose only. I even urged people to do their own research and reminded them multiple times that nothing is a recommendation in video and I am not sebi registered. But if you have any suggestion on something that I could improve on, then I am all ears.

Few points i dont agree. You don't increase sip amount with dip in mkt.never try to time the mkt.stay invested.Amount of sip depends on your surplus income and stretching it is not wise. As to jio financial and Tata co these are very expensive shares.even small dip doesn't make them buy. Only if you see as growth stock you can bet.but track record of Reliance has never been good. Zomato has just turned around and im circumspect about its business model as i don't believe it can charge super profit for long. I always prefer buying mnc scrips even if with high PE coz they don't window dress balance sheet. But Jio one always has doubt.

Finally someone is giving a constructive criticism, I appreciate that. 1. Increasing investment amount balances out cost per unit and potentially boosts returns when the market recovers. So I would repeat what I said SIP should not be stopped and in market correction I would increase investment. 2. I clearly mentioned for short term trades these stocks could be risky. Tata motors showed excellent q4 results, recent fall was due to management guidance on a few things in H1, so for a longterm investment I could accumulate in dip. 3. jio financial I mentioned I am betting on the backing & reputation of reliance industries in the hope that jio would do well, because jio is still new and yet to prove their business model. And yes it is also a long term play. 4. zomato I think as potential to grow multifold in next 5 -10 yrs as it has unlocked a completely new industry which is quick commerce Rest views can definitely differ because this is market where someone is right and someone is wrong. Disclaimer: Just sharing my personal reasons on why am I buying these stocks and it is not a recommendation

I agree pe is high but both stocks are among high growth stocks (not a recommendation) so its very difficult for them to be undervalued.. So one way is to build positions in dip and hold for longterm if one has high conviction in them.
