Ariana Grande, Camila Cabello, Demi Lovato, Mariah Carey and Perrie Edwards (Little Mix) Famous Singers dodging and failing to hit high notes and expectations compilation Everything About Fail or Epic Moment
Some of these are clear examples of how exhaustion and stress can affect a singers voice cause we know like Ari and Perrie in the right conditions can hit those notes with their eyes closed
Tristan Chiappetta Vocal nodules are hard, rough, noncancerous growths on your vocal cords. They can be as small as a pinhead or as large as a pea. You get nodules from straining or overusing your voice, especially from singing, yelling, or talking loudly or for a long period of time. Also, not everyone knows what nodules are, so you're fine lol
@@malibupromqueen she had them since she was a child and it has worsened with the years, her unhealthy lifestyle (drinking) + being overworked + her nodules = a mess She's better now tho, she isn't in her prime anything, atill has nodules and damage but still manages to keep singing, she needs more rest than a normal singer but can still sounds awesome Ah, she also has to lipsync some parts and can't go for all the notes even if ahe can because her voice might get more damaged, her doctor told her that she can't keep hitting all the high notes if she wants to sing for the rest of her life
True, but the person who did the video didn't mean to say they're bad singers. Even the best singer has vocal problems sometimes, depending on the stress, exhaustion, etc. they're having.
Jaz Isaacs actually it was strained, you can tell because she did it once strained and the other perfectly and you can hear the difference. she still sounds amazing, but it's still strained which is unhealthy :(
shaytoo 3105 literally try and sing that note 😂😂 and then try and appreciate that it's hard to sing it, especially every night for months on end on tour. Also syncing**
They didn't say they are bad they said it's really hard sometimes they dodge it or don't do it well so the vid is a compilation of the hardest notes they couldn't do it
Ada Lipinska over the years Perrie got worse, voice's not resonant, range isn't supported, lowering and raising the larynx in every note like it's a rodeo, throaty pitch placement (where it should never be) and lowering of the larynx to create a thicker and deeper tone and so on.
Julie H you are RIGHT in that video clip in 1:11 (wc says that she lipsync) ..her tonsil surgery is older because if im not mistaken its between or after DNA and Salute era
The 5 esingers here "except Camila im si sad to say thay" ARE PURE SLAYERS. PERRIE ARI DEMI AND MARIAH ARE CLOSELY EQUALLY GODS. LIKE. THEY REIN OF MUSIX
Demi's Heart attack is one of the hardest songs to sing and to hit the note even on flat dang.. I respect demi for doing it live for years Perrie's voice is amazing and she slays most of the highnotes too.. :)
Slay Ari-lovato did I say something that pink champagne is easy?? i just mentioned heart attack as hardest cause some deaf tones commented that she cant hit the note, and definitely pink champagne is hard 😊
@@mystyle200 Yeah ik .. Those haters who can't stand demi because she and Ari are the Queens of pop .. Heart attack is a song that incredibly hard and has like 7 phrased G#5s
@@walidmahdab8475 thats what I mean by my comment and there's no point mentioning pink champagne as hard cause technically and practically it is hard only deaf tones would say its easy just like bleeding love those songs are hard if you will copy the original runs and riffs
I think Demi should sing songs that doesn’t exhaust her beautiful voice.. she can still sing beautiful songs without those really hard notes. She’s already a great singer and she doesn’t have to prove that with every song!
The problem here is that people are being triggerred - and feel like these artists are not talented because they're dodging notes, or falling flat - the thing is, they are falling flat or dodging not because of lack of talent, but because of lack of technique. Anyone here who sings can tell you - the more you force yourself into hitting the high note, the more likely it'll be strained. Relax into it, and it'll be easier - maybe not perfect - but it will rapidly improve. I can falsetto all the way up to an A5 - no reason these singers can't mix all the way to a G#5, other than poor training. Singing across your entire range is difficult.
Cristian Spiteri best comment here. The uploader didn't say or imply that any of these girls are bad singers, just that they probably shouldn't attempt notes they haven't learned/practiced how to safely do.
Cristian Spiteri thiz is the problem with the pop industry, if the singer seems profitable, most get signed without anything other than young luck. It's more noticeable over time who had training and who needs some.
For Demi's, if you watch the original video for just a few seconds longer, she stops the concert and explains that her earpieces was getting a lot of feedback on stage. Then the problem was fixed, and she sang like a GODDESS.
I'm not entirely sure about this, but wasn't she sick or something during the tour? I read in a comment that she was so sick that the audience was okay with her lip-synching to the pre-recorded audio
Lyan Heartale Literally we get it, you’re “better” than Perrie and Ari that doesn’t mean you should brag about it, so far I’ve seen you on every “Perrie is amazing” comment and it’s quite annoying.
Ariel Burrow some of them can hit the notes in a controlled setting (like the studio) or when they are younger, but then when they have aged or are bouncing around a stage it's harder to control your breathing and pitch.
Generally speaking an artist will have recorded the studio version after at least 6 months of rest post-tour from the previous album promotion, so their vocals have had plenty of rest and can therefore be pushed harder and higher. However once they've done the promotion for the new music, which is hundreds of shows, tv appearances and just talking in general, it's harder to reach those peak moments they hit in the studio with ease. Also as someone commented above, age has a lot to do with vocal ability. We just have to look at Mariah as a perfect example of a woman who had an amazing voice in her prime but as she's aged her voice just can't get there now, which is okay, it's only natural! Our bodies age, so it's only fitting our voices she too.
honestly do not blame Demi for struggling to hit those notes. 1) that song's notes are so high 2) hitting those and singing that song night after night for hundreds of concerts is straining 3) we know she can do it because she's done stuff like that before perfectly 4) at least we know she's not lip syncing. it's all real
I don't think people understand that theyre not just performing one song. Concerts are at a minimum an hour long. That's an hour of singing, dancing and straining their voices. Let alone doing that every night. I give em all big props
raya strong lmao when you're too mad to counter argue and so you end up attacking character. Sad your parents didn't raise you right I mean your pretty fugly anyway
Spaceroamer well they dance to distract you from their voice cuz it's live and if she fucked up its the end and most of them are auto tuned so when they wanna sing on a stage they can't hit the right notes maybe I am not sure
I don't actually think that Perrie is lip syncing in that first video cause you can hear her voice with a little vibrato that is not in the original song. Also right after the "climax" she doesn't completely hit the notes but it's still a sick high note
There's no reason to judge these people for lip syncing or not singing the high notes because by pushing your voice higher than it can go you can PERMANENTLY DAMAGE IT! I'm a choir and every single person in the choir is warned about this!
I really like how you also showed the good performances too. This is just a really healthy thing. Because it isn’t just bashing a singer. It’s like it’s more for singers wanting to learn and it is good to know that professionals don’t hit it all the time
Lena I don't think she lipped but I have a thing to say she doesn't have to use the original not from the video clip she can pre-record the note anytime
She has a very unusual voice. In their early songs, you can hear how it's different from now. I believe she's had a lot of surgeries so that's probably why
Mr. Q Beatz Perrie got her tonsils removed, that's why in the "early years" of LM Perrie's voice sounded a bit 'deep' and now her voice is more clear and can hit high notes easily
Ary Equestrian singers will always have pitch issues, straining of the throats so it isn't a sign of bad singing, I think she just strains a lot, not ill. Still think she's awesome though.
No she wasn't, at the beginning of little mix, they used to preform Change your life a lot, and then Perrie got a cirurgy in her throat, that's why her voice changing a lot, and on the Get wierd tour she was already tired, all of them, they need some vocals rest.
vanishing she called normani the n word and there r reports of her bullying her. there r also multiple questionable posts about her calling her bandmates of color “hoodrats”
I don't listen to most of these singers, but if they can pull off a good show for the fans, who really cares if they hit the note live or not? we have the album for a reason haha X
Little Mix have always been my favorite band, since the start and I have been there since 2011 and here is my list of favoritism: Perrie Jade Leigh Jesy
Phil S it's not a true rule of thumb across the board and that's the problem. With big labels and some smaller ones they push the artists to reach impossible standards but the voice, like any other muscle, will eventually give out. For some it happens early, but others, like Mariah, it took longer but in the end it will happen. It all depends on how much they were mistreating their voice in the first place.
Michael Crawford Yes time and age does have an effect on the vocal cord. But, still. I'm just simply stating the obvious. As a fan of these singers and musical artists, it's almost cringe worthy hearing them live.
I wouldn't say that. People should just know at a live show it is really hard to hit notes period. You are really not in the environment to do so. It's too loud, even with in-ears in, you'll never be able to hear yourself as well as you can in a studio recording. Studio is meant to be perfected, and you get to retry so that it's perfect. Also you're not moving around and getting out of breath like in a live performance. People just shouldn't expect so much out of a live performance because tbh the chances of it being perfect vocally are very slim.
Phil S everyone has their good and bad moments . A lot of times singers are overworked so it affects their performances but again a person like you wouldn't bother understanding . Nvermind stick to ur ego
To be fair go on tour like 70% of the time so there voices get very hurt and damaged but they go vocal lessons every spare moment they have just for us
Usually singers dodge high notes because of vocal stress and exhaustion either from they are getting sick or just plain tired or are saving there voice for other shows. Doing back to back shows can put a lot of more stress on their vocals.
Dolce Teigen No I was taking up for the singers. I’m talking about how they were doing great meanwhile the maker of the video was just saying they are basically awful.
Perrie CAN hit every of her high Note easily, but every Singer can be sick or Stressed or like perrie had a tonsil removal - they have to Perform different than in the original, so that they are even able to perform, that has nothing to do with the ability to do it
So I just wanted to say a few things: 1. Demi began to attempt the phrased F5s, G5s and G#5 after the beginning of the Tell Me You Love Me Tour 2. The Change Your Life high note is quite hard to sing but I don't think it's so hard that Perrie would have to dodge it that often 3. The Pink Champagne high belts are literally the most difficult things I've ever heard someone sing in my whole life after Mariah's whistle notes. Ariana rarely sang them live because they're extremely difficult, even for someone with a tessitura as high as hers. 4. The Always Be My Baby high notes are the easiest ones in this video so I don't understand why she found it so hard to sing. Even the run after the sustained F5 is harder than the note itself
