Imagine all the nights when you’re parents didn’t allow you to go out with friends...what if by coincidence you avoided getting kidnapped/going missing because you stayed home o____o
I'm so thankful my parents were really strict with my brother and I because after moving from the street we lived on I hear about a lot of sex abuse of kids when I was little. And I used to hate that they were so strict and wished I had other kids parents.
The worse part is their loved ones don't have closure. It's hard to go through the grieving process when there's no physical evidence to help overcome denial, and finally (eventually), acceptance. Terrible. Imagine how many families have been tormented with this crap over the thousands and thousands of years of human existence.
Joshua Traffanstedt I have a friend missing at sea right now... he fell out of a fishing boat and hasn’t been seen since may... people keep asking why we’re still searching when we know he’s gone... closure is exactly that.
Blessings. It's very sad for those that can not find closer. I lost my girlfriend a few years ago and still pray for Chrissy. GOD bless you and all good people.
I really like how you also give a lot of info on the cases. You don't stick with just telling about the cases, but also gave background info and additional theories as to what happened to them. It makes it easier to follow and you get a sense that everything is connected. This has become one of my favourite channels. Keep up the great work.
Every time I watch missing persons cases and I’m shown age-progression photos, I’m always kind of nervous that I’m going to recognize that person as my mom or aunt or something. Idk, I’m weird lol
Why would your mom or aunt be a missing person? Like what your mom ran away as a child and started a new life with a new name and then had you? Yeah, that is really weird.
i love that you bring eyes to the highway of tears! i am an aboriginal woman who lives in bc, i KNOW people and are related to some that have disappeared here. it is wonderful how you show that it has been swept under the rug for decades, the more eyes on this story the better!! thank you so much!! be well!!
As a Canadian viewer thank you for mentioning the missing and murdered indigenous Womans crisis. People think Canada is perfect but we have our issues as does everyone. The first step to solving a problem is being aware and educated! Great content, liked and subscribed.
904 CZV ayoo my mother remembers the drama about the bank robbery in sweden and dissapearing of the boys, infact she lived in the exact same town/city as them.
Worst nightmare ever. Having a loved one just vanish without a trace, and that being just it...the lingering hope they'll return one day but the heartbreaking statistic that they're no longer alive the longer time goes on. Nothing worse than no closure!
Anyone seen all these missing children cases in the states...currently? Not in the mainstream media so much. 70 in Kansas (in foster care) last month, then throughout last year..in Virginia, in Jan, 1 in Feb..then the numbers go up and up monthly, in Oct 40 and Nov over 70. One theory is it is tied to the 'elite' - and most likely sex trafficking. One comment I read even went so far as to mention the 2.3(?) trillion (was it?) that Rumsfeld said was unaccounted for after 9/11. (The only records showing where these trillions were spent were in the Pentagon..the specific place the, erm 'plane' went in, you know, the recently re-enforced part of the Pentagon!) Worth looking into, there's a lot of oddities, but the more you look at, the more things add up. Of course it's all theory, interesting all the same. (Except 9/11 being a False Flag...apologies to the believers in the official story we were fed, but I wouldn't consider 9/11' conspiracy theory' any more...that one is pretty cut and dry, particularly when you follow the money. And it's usually about money, sadly.
Debbie XOXOXO lolllll your referring to that ‘Chills’ guy right? His videos are good but listening to him with his incorrect voice inflections is painful
Chelsea Vaughn I live in the city they are from, 40-60 missing from families and women in the area since the 60’s.... most were drawn out with offers or were sex workers, I suspect foul play and it is definitely a group of people. Supposedly the police is in on it because they were known to attend parties with Robert Pickton. Look up Pickton he is a gruesome serial killer from BC.
As a proud Canadian, I am ashamed about The Highway Of Tears , and the government doing NOTHING to solve this sick crime. Pray for them, and the sorry state of our country.
@IETCHX69 Not true that the Canadian government is doing nothing. These kind of crimes are often very hard to solve. Sometimes the perpetrator dies and is never identified. Sometimes there is more than one perp. But usually it is local law eonforcement that solves the case, and when it is solved, is because the perp just falls into their hands. The provincial government is working on it and so is the RCMP.
@@Slurpified Maybe so, but the sources I rely on say the Canadian authorities are taking their investigation seriously These events cover a period of almost 50 years and certainly involve multiple perpetrators. The geograqphical area is vast. There are non-Native as well as Native women among the victim. Male persons found dead over this period of time are not included in the list of Highway of Tears victims but nevertheless could have been victims of the same perpetrators. It is not even slightly easy to investigate these kind of events. A better approach might be to encourage people who know something or suspect someone to come forward. I am sure that has been done too. Apparently, there have been arrests and convictions in some of tjhe cases, and at least one instance of a suspect committing suicide. Understand the difficulties. They are extreme.
Those caver kids are probably still in that cave somewhere. They were kids. Part of why people get stuck and die in caves is they get stuck because of their size. They were small and probably managed to get into an unexplored part of the cave, but may have been trapped and couldn't get back especially if there was a cave in or rising water. Poor little dudes
Daydreambeliever Canadian govt have been Aholes. If those who disappeared had money or weren’t Native American they’d be all over these many disappearances. I firmly believe that, and I’m not someone who thinks minorities always get forgotten like this, but in the trail highway of tears I’d like those bastards in Canadian law enforcement to defend themselves for doing nothing.
I agree its disturbing how little they did for these women, doesnt matter what there color, nationality or monetary worth was they're humans who deserve respect and answers!
Thank you for bringing to light the issue of missing and murdered Aboriginal people in Canada. As a true crime buff, it has always bothered me that Canadian officials do so little and the epidemic has gotten so bad. Great videos!
The family in the car is most likely in the bottom of a lake. Even if its cold it doesn't even mean every lake is frozen solid. Many missing persons have been found submerged in lakes.
Maybe if one of Harper's family went missing on that highway, he may have been motivated to investigate the disappearances? How sad that these women being aboriginal was the difference between giving a crap or not.
Marley Stevenson Heya Marley, what exactly are you doing to solve these cases? It must be very complex since there’s obviously many different perpetrators doing these crimes in the area.
AnnaLUVsBOBMARLEY I agree with both of you. I think it could be a few killers. I'm sure one is a cop or one know who the killer is and is coming there tracks. Also how I fight to solve is is bring awareness to the case. I keep talking about it and keep these peoples names alive.
ashy rose Yea, clearly all these youtubers r literally copying each others vids and NOT doing their own research. Because there is no way they cant be doing their own research yet still doing the same vids but THIS GUY, Criminally Listed, at least has new cases embedded in vids with one or two cases you may have heard of.
LordanArts is a fantastic channel as well! He focuses on more well-known and lesser known missing persons cases and murder mysteries in a very respectful manner. He also brings awareness to and supports organizations trying to solve these cases.
It's got to be terrible not to have any answers when a loved one goes missing, especially more than one. I hate that this happens at all. But thanks for all you do.
ThaGreaT FranK I would also recommend Scary Mysteries. Another channel that puts out quality content and does not use the typical stories you would generally find on other lists.
best part about this is there's no shitty robotic voice over or annoying voice doing it. also, the fact that you not only talk about lesser known cases but time stamp them in your description is badass. can't wait to see this channel blow up!!
Totally digging all these unknown or less heard of cases being brought into the light. Thanks for providing the information. I can always depend on watching something new with your videos and not copying stories of other RU-vidrs
Mattitude Yep this is the big difference between this channel and all the wannabe true crime channels that use always the same cases over and over again. Mattitude fact. (Matt Hardy reference lol!) 👍✌
My mom used to tell me stories of hitchhiking across BC when she was young in the 70s. She wanted highway of tears to be solved in your lifetime. I lost her in 2014. To this day I hope that the killer or killers will be brought to justice. Harper only cared about oil and making the rich richer. I'm glad he's gone.
Thankyou for covering the Missing & Murdered Indigenous Women in Canada in such detail. Families of these women have been suffering for decades knowing that neither police nor the government seem interested in solving these crimes or preventing more like them from happening. Beautiful sisters, mothers, daughters, aunties & friends who deserve justice.
10/18/18.....It is sad to lose a friend/family member to crime or illness or an accident or old age. BUT it is so horrible to NEVER know if missing by choice or chance or criminal activity. GOD BLESS ALL THE LOVED ONES LEFT BEHIND!
I'm a Canadian here, and I can absolutely confirm Stephen Harper was a total shitheel. Women were literally being murdered or assaulted every month on that road, and Harper was so stupid that he went out of his way to ignore it.
HakkiriMotto Harper was objectively a good PM. Judging a PM on their lack of in depth knowledge and subsequent allocation of funds for a string of murders spanning half a century to a highway is not something he's actively thinking about. Though, the Aboriginals have always had a negative rapport in this country. All the money and apologies in the world hasn't solved the drug, low income and crime situation in their communities.
Ok, what about his defunding of all public sector scientific research? His bringing lobbying into Canadian government? His short term economic boost at the cost of the environment and long term economic prosperity? His selling Canada out to China (letting Chinese businesses vote on Canadian laws)? His budget cuts into several necessary areas, including healthcare - the effects of which we are know suffering (over capacity hospitals anyone??)? etc. Guy was a shit PM, no matter how you look at it. Look, I don't like Trudeau either, but for all his flaws, he's definitely a step above fucking HARPER.
Dude where are you getting this from? The Trudeau government is the one reducing the annual spending on provincial health care currently to meet their budget. And if you live in Ontario, you're even more fucked as Wynne's abyssal government has been gutting healthcare since like 2016 . Liberals are just crap at managing their books and spread too thin. However, I will agree with you on the first couple points. Our tar sands is just a shit show. So is our lumber industry. Hell, our entire raw materials industry in general. We sell all this shit far below what its worth at huge environmental costs to us that will definitely bite us in the next several decades. Trudeau's just a pushover. More interested in his virtue signalling and treating his position like its ceremonial.
8:59 Any job that requires you to start immediately(within hours, and doesn't even give you a week to relocate) is a scam, likely something horrible happened to that poor family. Definitely human trafficking. 11:40 Punchable faces related. How can he not care about all of those missing women?!
All for the Animals I was definitely thinking about human trafficking in the family. It's something most people don't think about and I can see why. Sadly, it's not too far off from being uncommon in these cases.
Yes! There's a video on here where a guy in Ohio was offering jobs taking care of cattle out in the country. A job seeker would go with the "ranch" guy to some isolated woods, and ranch man would shoot them dead. He just wanted to kill people, he lured people to kill with the job offer...
@Tiffanye Young are you talking about the "highway of tears"? If so, yes I agree. Absolutely no excuse as to why the Canadian government is not more activity involved in murder/murderers being brought to justice. Have a great day.
Human trafficking is not as common as the media would have you believe. Proof? You only hear about it on slow news days. Besides, with all due respect to the family who disappeared, not one of them would be attractive enough to be trafficked. I’m not saying it doesn’t exist, but human trafficking is just law enforcement’s way of demonizing prostitution which shouldn’t be illegal when done between 2 consenting adults
Rupert Floyd 1. That’s just proof the media doesn’t care about human trafficking 2. You don’t need to be “attractive” to be raped and trafficked 3. Prostitution is non-consensual and should never be legal.
Thank you Criminal listed for mentioning the Jack family!!!! This is literally the first time watching all these disappearance videos that the Jack family was mentioned. I cant believe that a whole fucken family can go missing and no one has ever talked about it!!!!! Thank you for shedding light on that cold case!!!!!
This is the second time I‘m watching a video where he is involved in a crime ...what the heck...this man was an evil man and it’s terrifying he didn’t spend his whole life in prison
P-Trooper TK-777 Best prime minister in recent times. It is the responsibility of the RCMP not the PM to investigate. If you have your heart set on blaming government, the provincial government should get the heat way before the federal government.
Mere I know!!! it's like an insanely intricate movie plot of how these murders and disappearances are connected..... horses, mafia , multiple murders from young boys to an old woman and heiress. That Silas though!!!! he's got blood on his hands, well he did
I think people have such a bad image of the aboriginals and vice versa that aboriginals are adverse to the other help and the others can't or don't want to help because of all the stigma. It's completely different nowadays. It's becoming knowledge to the people about the unsolved cases. There's a lot of information we missed.
I'm swedish and I instantly thought about Dahlsjöfallet as soon as I saw the title of the video. Pretty cool that you guys knew about it, didn't know that it was internationally known since it happend so long ago
I know! It's cute tho. Swedish is hard for americans. I'm just generally really impressed with their channel and how they always mansge to bring up and discuss more unknown cases and not just like the Sodder children lol
It wasn't internationally known until I wrote the first synopsis in english. I'm a bit bummed that Criminally Listed didn't add this post to the list of credits: www.reddit.com/r/UnresolvedMysteries/comments/5bmwk3/the_dahlsj%C3%B6_case_the_only_unsolved_mass/
This video hits home for me in a couple of ways: I remember when those three boys in Hannibal, Mo disappeared. I was approximately their age at the time and the whole thing haunted me for the days it was being reported in the media. I had totally forgotten about the matter until I saw this video. Regarding the disappearance of the three girls, one of them, Patricia, was my cousins girlfriend at the time. They knew each other from high school. Knowing that my family had a connection to one of the girls has haunted me for years. Recently, I had dinner with that cousin and her husband. Afterwards she had bought a bag of Brach's candy as a gift for friends they were going to visit after me. When I saw the bag I mentioned to her "ya know, they never did find Helen Brach!" I then proceeded to tell them about her disappearance back in the 70's. When my cousin and her husband visited those friends of theirs they mentioned to them what I had said. One of them happen to know more about the story and mentioned that there might also be a connection to the disappearance of the three Indiana Dunes women. Until then I had no idea their stories were so intertwined. I also didn't know about the murder of the three boys and their connection to Silas Jayne. Everything you reported was accurate.
Thank you so much for going in depth for the missing and murdered aboriginal women. My school at the time started a massive petition for Harper to actually do something about it that spread nationwide. After 80,000+ signatures, he replied directly to my school with a simple "no"
@@happyhiker6937that doesn't excuse authorities at all though. It's just like saying the boys who were told to stay in the backyard and not go to the cave were more guilty of their disappearance than the hypothetical people that could've been involved if it was foul play.
I feel so upset, I live in Prince George where all those people went missing on the highway of tears. I had no idea that so many people have gone missing there!
Great stuff. Another bizarre disappearance is that of the Beaumont children (Jane, Arnna and Grant) on 26 January 1966 in South Australia. Never seen again and no one ever charged
Celia G I wish there was more about this. I’m in Sydney hun. And I have read so much about this case. I can’t get over it. I lived nearby where they went missing from. I no longer live there now due to moving. Another case I can’t understand is William Tyrell, the three year old boy who went missing in 2014. It’s been almost 5 years now. I’ll never understand how this isn’t solved.
People don't 'vanish into thin air' - they die, either accidentally or at the hand of another human being, and the latter is the most likely. What we do know for certain, is all these missing people are dead. Very sad.
@Zsuzsanna Varga True - we don't know what happened to these people. But something sure did - they did not get transported to another dimension, like a science fiction movie! I don't like the concept of people 'vanishing', it suggests something supernatural which in my view is nonsense. It should be phrased in a more no nonsense factual way, upping the woo-factor is cheap.
@Zsuzsanna Varga Hmmm... not sure why you found my posts so controversial/objectionable/surprising, or interpreted them so literally. It was merely an observation on the style of these kinds of videos. Life really is too short to look for conflict, as this video sadly illustrates! Maybe think about that. I wish you well.
@Zsuzsanna Varga I'm sure you're right. Language is a complex thing, and the written word is easily misinterpreted. I'm happy to embark on discourse here on any subject, with decent, respectful people. You've shown me a new perspective today, I had no idea my remarks could be seen that way. And the phrase: 'vanishing like a grey donkey in the fog', is a new one on me! As a true crime addict, I've become cynical about murder. It is far too prevalent and to many people, human life is cheap. That's why sadly, I see these cases as obvious homicides. Though nothing would please me more than to be proved wrong, and for these people to reappear as suddenly and as mysteriously as they 'vanished'. Time will tell!
Sure they may have died from the hands of another human or they where abducted or they simply got caught in a glitch and passed through dimensions. Life is way more complicated than people think.
@R J Fairies! WTF!!! Are U drugged... That's crazy, please get help if U truly believe fairies are real. There is help available, if U seek it. All the best.
So lovely to hear a nice voice instead of a robot, love how your videos are so different to everyone else, it's nice to watch something that I've not seen before xx
Wow, that case of the disappearances of Ann Miller, Patricia Blough and Renee Bruhl has more twists and turns than a mountain pass! Your linking of the various side cases, personalities and bizarre related cases leading back to possible involvement with the three girls is nothing short of brilliant. I've had to rewatch #1 several times to wrap my head around it all!
Anyone else got confused by case #1? My god what a tangled web that was weaved! I don't think they will ever solve that case if indeed it had something to do with the horse syndicate. A pos who could have his own brother killed, could also easily get rid of 3 young women. smh.....
Thank you for covering the Jack family -- minority disappearances never get as much coverage as white people, and Native/Aboriginal people are especially ignored. These people deserve protection and justice as much as anyone else, but the mainstream media and government love to ignore them. Please continue to do what you do, and please continue to cover minorities! With the help of people like you, maybe some of these heartbreaking cases can be solved.
Rhiannon May don't be so dense. nobody loves to ignore anything. allocating more money to something doesn't guarantee results. there isn't some big conspiracy of old white guys who gather to decide how to snuff issues of minorities and then laugh manically in unison.
+ badwith names Except for the part where in the area where this disappearance happened there are literally HUNDREDS of missing aboriginal people and the police and the authorities did nothing for literal decades and even now are only doing the bare minimum. ONE blond haired blue eyed white girl went missing in that time and they are still scouring the country for her years lately
@badwith names actually, everyone loves to "forget". It's convenient. As long as it doesn't affect them directly, there is no reason for them to care or invest any resources. They don't have to put zillions and solve the case, they just have to assure the public that they are willing to put in as much effort for Aboriginals as other races.
My heart goes out to all the families still holding out hope for their lost loved ones. No one can understand that pain unless they've suffered through it themselves. I hope they find some sort of peace. God bless. ❤
Sara Cooper Although they don't actually disappear off the planet. The world is big and people are tiny. There are so many places one could be. The only options are that they're dead and have yet to be found or they're alive and haven't been heard from..."disappearance"is a terrible misnomer. absence of information is more accurate
I was physically uncomfortable listening/watching this. I can’t imagine the amount of pain and suffering and fear these children, women and horses endured. Heartbreaking
Hwy of Tears is one looooooooong lonely hwy. Hwy of tears does have a Cold Case Team. Some females are added and some removed from their list. Now there is a bus that runs along hwy of tears. Finally after what, 89 missing women/girls. But they still hitchhike.
Hello dear, I know people have already said this, but I feel I must for I feel so strongly about it: THANK YOU THANK YOU THANK YOU for using lesser known cases! I was beginning to think I knew every mystery in history (haha) b/c you hear the same ones over and over. Taking the time to find obscure material is insanely appreciated and does not go unnoticed! Keep up the wonderful work!
I love how this channel always has material I've never seen before. Rarely, I'll have heard of one or two of the cases, but I don't think I've watched a single video on this channel where there wasn't at least one story I've never heard of. That's amazing.
I'm from British Columbia and have always been so mad that the government and police refuse to investigate the highway of tears cases! Steven Harper was a sh*t. Thank you so much for including that info in your video
Hey there! I'm a new subscriber to the channel. Your vids are really good and well put together. Your voice is quite fitting too. Keep these awesome vids coming
Top Shelf Doc. Especially appreciated the last segment about the aboriginal women, being that my wife is also aboriginal. I think your doc was more effort than the Government has expended. Thanks for that.
The fifth one involving those horse people drives me nuts. I know some weird horse people, but come on, killing your brother and other innocent people? Unreal.
I know some “horse people” who might kill their brothers, but I don’t know one who would kill a horse. Especially not for money. He wasn’t a horse person, he was a monster who figured out a way to make horses pay for him.

Those three young men were probably killed so those robbers could assume their identities
Rejoy Mathew Really though? Really?? They were so incompetent one guy shot himself in the leg, they took of their disguises in public places & they placed the getaway boat poorly (not that anyone got to it). Hypothetically, if we believe they had the boys car sunk to be them, why were none of the boys belongings on the getaway boat? You wouldn’t kill someone to become them without even taking their IDs, clothes, anything. And Sweden is such a small country, it’s so easy to accidentally have mutual connections.
@@christino3852 First they will Rob the bank go back and kill these kids by drowning and then sink the car along with them in a deep pond. When police do investigation they will know 3 guys went missing around same time and will assume those 3 did the crime and escaped. If everything went well maybe this would have happened. These are all assumption ,nobody knows the truth. This thing happened near my place 40 years back with one guy.

now that's some good research, damn! worth the week wait. too many list channels just take info from each other and don't delve into it. applause for taking time to see how these things could all be connected, that syndicate shit is crazy
So the three missing ladies was just a lead-in to a whole ten minutes of the complete criminal history of the horse guy and all of his associates? You lost me there
i live in sweden and the nice part is every monday morning i wake up i see that you have released a new video so i take my cup of coffe smoke a joint and watch your video love your content and always loved stuff that you release so im so glad i found your channel and i will watch your videos to the day you stop uploading or i die xD keep it up man .
Ottoman Empire Well, I hope you understand that all joint smokers are f#** parasite liberals. Michael doesn't give a s#* about your opinion. Sweden is not falling down because of the politicians and their policies. Sweden has fallen down because the people of Sweden, the Swedes, are f*** damned pussies who voted, supported and loved LIBERALISM. THAT GOVERNMENT FITS THE SWEDES LIKE A GLOVE! So, just let that crap fall apart. Nobody will miss Sweden or its "culture". Welcome to reality, folks! 😉👍
these crimes aren't solved bc the police dont give a shit.... it pisses me off. Why didn't they check the bag the 3 women left on the beach the day they found their stuff !!!!! so heartbreaking
I love that you brought the Dhalsjö case up. It's actually the only mass missing case that hasn't been solved in Sweden. But to clarify why some believe the three young men where in this bank robbery is probably because they too had trouble with the law. Jan owned the car (because the law back then said it was okay to own a vehicle even if you didn't have a driver's license) which nobody of them had! And at least one of them have been convicted of this and other stuff. One of them was waiting to get his conviction but never got it since they disappeared. They had told friends and family that they where going away on vacation this day to a place called Åsa about 40 min away south of Gothenburg. Maybe they didn't go and was a part of the bank robbery instead and told people that they where going to Åsa just to cover their tracks because they where planing on going north. But did they still take the car up towards north? Because in that case maybe the last man hiched hiked with them since Lysekil is about 1,5 h north of Gothenburg. But nobody knows. The most famous criminologist in Sweden Leif G.W. Persson. Have said that he doesn't believe that these cases are connected. He thinks that the car with the men inside have had an accident and are probably in the ocean.
I'm from the Seattle near the Vancouver area and I know the "Highway of Tears"... I think it's not just one serial killer but many... and I think truckers are most responsible for most the killing in these areas do the long freeway stretches including Route 66 in the US is still one of the most heavily trafficked by killers
red viper Sadly, not just killers are attracted to that area, but a lot of traffickers (human, sex and drug varieties) as well. People can be so horrid. Watching, hearing, and reading about such things just mars my soul.
People think its either truckers or cops themselves who are doing it. Someone with authority that people would initially trust them enough to go with them without a struggle.
