Very nice job covering the basics. I am sharing this not to brag but to show what’s possible. I’m retired and I have 2 separate portfolios. One is a long term growth dividend portfolio of stocks where i sell covered calls strategically and my 2nd portfolio is the Crypto trading strategy where its all about income. This year I am on pace to make $120K in realized options profits and around $730K in crypto profit... What is great is that my long-term portfolio is still up significantly as well. As such, it’s possible to generate excellent income but still have a total return perspective. ...Amidst this, the insights of a knowledgeable guide like that of Sandy Barclays can be crucial. My advice to new investors: Buy good companies stocks and hold them as long as they are good companies. Just do this and ignore the forecasts and market views which are at best entertaining but completely useless.

What I gather is that we need new materials and or significant cryogenic capacity in order to have Quantum Computing ‘work.’ We could use one sitting in the Cold of Space to chill down Quantum Computers. Then we have to figure out how to beam data up and back. A bit ‘far out’ for me

Best stock of the last 100 years is Altria, a 16.5% annual rate of return since 1925. Keep it dumb and simple and stay away from all tech, gold and crypto.
