The hidden room in the glovebox (Feature 4) is for the instruction manual. I did not know about the A/C rest function. So thank you for that, it will be quite useful 👌👍
Does that really matter? It's a video about some tips/tricks not about if the car is clean or not. If you can't handle to see a dirty car then watch something else.
I honestly have no idea why there is any need for that parking light "trick". If you're parking, there is no benefit to having only one side illuminated. Just keep the whole system on. Seems like a waste of effort. If anyone can explain a practical use for this feature, please let me know.
Feature one. Let's say you exit the car and forget a window is open. Is this feature an easy way of closing the window rather than gettin in the car and turning the engine on to close the windows
How long the residual heat transfer stays on is only dependent on the Auxiliary Battery charge because all electronics are powered by the Auxiliary Battery that can, on the average, supply power for about 30mins to prevent the battery voltage from falling below the programmed cut off threshold.
If you have keyless go you can just touch and hold the indent on the door handle that locks it for closing up ur windows & sunroof. (Key has to be in your pocket of course )
Hi do we have seat heating feature most of sites shows about seat heating on A180 2019 model but I can't find it out how it works and my model doesn’t have winking mirrors
Hi Ivan. I like your videos - very instructive and well presented - this one too. But if I was you I would have cleaned the car before making this video...
In my country they put a water salt mixture on the roads to prevent snow and ice, but the thing is that the cars turns white as hell and corrodes, but in any country the roads are just dirtier in the winter so keeping a car clean in hard and expensive😂
These “tricks” are standard MB features for 20 years. As well as Beemer’s, Audi’s... Thanks anyway, somebody will amazingly start to use them. You could wash your car for the presentation. NHF :)
During your discussion of using the remote key to open and close the windows, you mentioned that it also works for opening and closing a panoramic sunroof remotely. That inspired me to check to see if the remote would lower and raise a convertible top. IT DID! 😁 Sadly my car (AMG E53 Cabriolet) does not seem to have the REST feature or the hidden glove box compartment (instead has a switch in the glove box for locking the trunk), but the open/close trick with the remote was well worth it. Thanks for the video!!
A/C (rest) is switching off the air conditioner (the closed air condition system), with this button the air is coming just from outside (“fresh air”), you can also choose A/C (rest) and button Auto together, but during very hot summer days it might be not sufficient without air conditioner (ventilators on high speed will work very loud), also on a rainy day it will be very foggy inside the car, the best way is to use A/C (rest) and Auto buttons only by dry weather conditions, from minus 30 degrees (“fresh air” will be warmed by the engine) to around 22-24 degrees Celsius on plus (engine heat will be switched off/not provided and ventilators will work on high speed), if you wanna have 18 degrees inside the car and outside there are 24 degrees Celsius, then the ventilators will not manage to keep such temperature, you need then to switch off A/C (rest) button to turn on the closed air condition system
Thank you for these tips. The opening/closing windonws from the remote is a great addition, on the prevous A-class I had it because of the leather interior, but it was obnoxious, only working from short distance of the driver's door and not for closing windows. A/C rest is also a great feature, not described at all on MB website. One question: Do you ever regret not going for the big driver screen ? I feel the small one offers all you need already....
Thanks for stopping by my channel! Yes open windows works even from 2nd-3rd floor of the apartment! I regret a bit, because it looks better with big display, but it's only aesthetic thing, you don't loose any features.
Hi Ivan Sensei, nice channel and videos, i want to ask you if it is possible to change the tyre measure unit on a class from kpa to psi? In my area im not able to use mercedes me app, so maybe any other way to do it, thanks, regards.
Not at all, it would cut off if your battery is low! Battery charges very fast during drive so you have enough power and they also design battery in a capacity so it's enough for all features
I remember you mention on one of your video that you can let others people use your car if you are not near by, just by letting the key inside and open it front the app , how can you do that or what is the video you mention that so I can watch it.
You can open the car from the app, but I didn't say you have to left your key in the car. That feature is called digital key when people can open the car with a digital key and you need to have this feature from the factory
@@IvanSensei cool thanks, I ordered mine with all the options, so I more likely have that ,I know how to open it with the app but, I just don't know about the digital key or how it works.
@@IvanSensei Hi Ivan . Hanks for your reply . I am watching the other video about . MBUX as I got my brand new A Sedan and suspect maps are not uploaded (navigation says that) let me find out if I can resolve it. I am located in Argentina and delivery of the car was actually poor!
Really that's onee of the things that make this car cool.. it is something that can be easy to forge it was about to happen to me too, even the dealer guy though the ambient light was standard. Try to check if you can upgrade the order..
My emergency-key moves out again, if i push the button, no stucking. You can also open the normal key (like for changing the battery) , then you will see the emergency-key inside and can push it outwards.
I just got a A220. Love it. However the key only slides all the way in and won’t lock in the intermediate position to allow attachment of a key ring. 🤔😔
Ivan Sensei I just found out what the problem is. If you look at your key in the video it had 2 notched cut into it near the top. My key has a single notch...the 2nd one is missing!
