I love everything in this video but the frames are truly stunning. What you did with the print, dabbing paint around the edges like that, was genius! It took that whole piece to another level. Very moody and kind of haunt-y! Perfect vignette!

Nice technique to unify everything making a beautiful vignette! I really liked how the paint wash toned down the gold frames and blended the artwork. Nice work 😸

Love that bird cage! Love anything to do with birds. I have bought lots of 3 or 4 inch high candlesticks that are reasonably priced at thrift stores. At new house I have a very high and long soffit above my kitchen cupboards, but most of my birdhouses (from old house) are not very tall, so will glue the birdhouses to them to make them look not so tiny up there. Watching videos like yours gave me that idea! Thanks for helping those of us who don't have a booth still have fun decorating our homes! 😊

To get out water rings on wood all ya do is get a terry cloth I use white rags and a DRY iron and put the towel Over the water spot and the iron over the wood and iron it over and over until the water goes away. If there is no oil in the spot it will evaporate and go away 😉❤. Love the channel!

I'm Loving the wash over the table top with the tips about sanding and finishing. Thats the DIY tutorial, bits and bobs, that i live for. Something to take into my own diy. Adding go-to techniques for many projects to come. Also, love that you explained your struggle with, "To paint, or not to paint?" When an item maybe "valuable" or antique. What is valuable, but the sentiment or price tag we attach to it? Its just a worth we've made a choice to agree upon, right? Still doesn't make it a set-in-stone fact. Especially if you just need a nice end table. There is serious value in that! Thank you for your blatant bravery! Besides, if it doesnt serve your purposes in life, then you're just a keeper of it till someone else puts it in a landfill because "its broken, dated, old and yucky" in their eyes. Can't win that debate. Bravo on everything, LOVE YOUR STYLE.

Absolutely LOVE the framed birds & cage. I do those as well. I collect anything vintage/antique looking cages, frames, candlestands & more. I also love tea cups, saucers & tea pots for flower arrangements, garden decor & bird accessories. My other favorite is rustic metal almost anything I can create with.

I always pick up so many helpful tips from you. I had to laugh when you pulled out the purple glue stick! That's exactly what I use. Yeah, I paid 6 bucks for the stinkiest picture frame ever. When I pulled the wood back and tape off the back. OMG! It was a poured plaster frame that had a wicker look to it. Plaster of Paris or molded pieces will absorb moisture and smells. It was dry but smelled like a moldy barn kept in a basement for years. When I did the vid on it I had flash backs of the smell. Yes, I got it out with 2 coats of Boss on each side. I really wanted to use it with a bee canvas. It turned out beautiful. That was the worse, lol

I loved all of this. I'm now a subscriber. So creative. I just got so many great ideas from you. I love the way the table came out. With the birdcage, I think I would have cut a thin piece of wood to make a floor in it. I've used spanish moss before, and little pieces of it will start falling out of the bottom of the cage. It gets pretty messy after a while. I really loved the picture frames. It's so hard to find intricate old frames that haven't been chipped along the edges. It is such a great idea to find images from books that will fit and look like they're vintage. And now I know how to make them look like like they fit. Awesome.

Great job! Helpful hint: When you begin to pull Spanish moss out of bag...instead of cutting, gently wrap it around a few fingers, gradually pulling and twisting...it will make a more lifelike nest and have less mess...😊 Love your videos...💗

All the pieces look amazing, love them all❤ I have several old bird cages, they are such pretty pieces to decorate with and that one turned out so pretty! I may have to try this😉 One of the things I love to collect is ornate frames, those are gorgeous! And like you, if I don't like the color, I just do something different to them. This is A great idea, never thought to do this.. they turned out sooo good, beautiful❤ I love stacking frames! They're really pretty stacked in front of a mirror too, try it out, you'll love it😊 Or hang a couple empty ones mixed in a gallery wall, so so pretty! Either print would have been good. But the paint technique.. ohhh wow! That's super cool.. awesome idea & thanks for sharing, I'll definitely use that one!! You have an astounding amount of patience with doing coat after coat of wash on that table! It turned out beautifully though ❤❤❤ it's funny how you mentioned that the moisture raises the wood grain when you stain and you need to sand it. Most people don't realize that if they are new to these projects. I actually use a 600-800 grit sand paper or 0000 steel wool on my painted finishes to smooth them out after painting, but not affect my paint job. Learned that from Ginger Chic and it makes SUCH a difference on your finished project! Maybe you can also create your own matte for your frame if you don't have an image quite large enough... Just an 💡 I hope it doesn't bother you that I'm offering tips. I'm sure you have WAY MORE experience that me, but can't help myself 😂
